    Nopal plate

We were in the area and stopped by we were debating whether to do burrito, but we ended up with a taco plate and a mulita and the nopal plate. The service was great. The salsa's all three were pretty good. We thought the Mika and mango agua frescas were a little too sweet for my taste. Definitely a spot to try!!

I'm super picky. I don't like fatty meat. I was born and raised in LA with all kinds of authentic food so I have a HIGH BAR. I've lived out in MoVal for 3 years now and this is the only Mexican restaurant worth returning to. Do I love it? No. But it's good. For to go orders, call in or head straight to the register. For dine in, they great you and let you know to sit anywhere. They'll bring out menus for you. We started with chips and guac which were a hit. It was fresh. The guac itself was a mix of creamy rich avocado chunks. It will please all palettes. We ordered the horchata and Jamaica which were bomb. This time, my husband ordered the emmulados which are essentially just 3 chicken mole enchiladas with rice and beans. My husband enjoyed it. He nearly finished the entire plate. His only complaint was the mole sauce was a tad too watered down. I ordered the wet burrito. I picked carne asada as my meat and red sauce. It was good, but the whole time I was eating, I was craving pupusas. The salsa seems to be tomato based (as the one served with pupusas) rather than chile based. Still good, but unexpected. They have three salsas available. Red, orange, and green. The red is the spiciest at first. It's tomato based. The orange is habanero. It doesn't have a big kick at first, but the heat lingers. So to us, we think orange is the spiciest. Green salsa is creamy so I believe it's avocado based. Best if you can't handle spice. Plenty of free parking in the parking lot. Service is friendly, attentive, food arrives at lightning speed, and is super affordable. My only complaint is the plastic cutlery. It's really a challenge when eating a wet burrito.

Really good!!!! Ordered the firulais breakfast burrito (carne asada) and the Chilangon burrito (chilaquiles burrito) and they were so good. ESPECIALLY the chilangon burrito. That was a 10/10 burrito. The spice level we ordered was "spicy" and i think it was the perfect level of spice. The salsa they have are all good as well. I think even the owner came out and greeted us to refill out coffee. Just great service and overall great experience. Oh i can't forget the cafe de olla! It was perfect

food is amazing , service is great! Our waitress Elisabeth was informative, went over the menu with my mom and I since it was our first time there. Would highly recommend!

The Chile relleno burrito was so bomb, the way they wrap the chile in a thin layer of egg made it less greasy than tradicional chile relleno burritos. The service was great and super friendly. Also food came out super fast.

My brother invited us here for Father's Day breakfast, and it ended up being the perfect spot. We arrived around 9:30 AM and had a short wait before being seated. The staff asked that our entire party be present before seating us, which was understandable given how busy they were. The restaurant is clean and a comfortable, medium sized space. The service was great. Our servers were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout. I ordered the chilaquiles and café de olla, and both were absolutely delicious. I especially loved the café de olla, it had such a rich, comforting flavor! If this place were closer to home, I'd definitely come more often. But for now, I'm just glad we got to enjoy it. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be sure to stop by again!

Came to this place to try out their chilaquiles burrito and my goodness it did not disappoint! I got the red chilaquiles burrito (they also have the green salsa option) which is called Chilango and shared their Firulais burrito de carne asada and was also good but nothing compared to the chilaquiles one. We ordered it with the spice level of Spicy and boy was it spicy but a good level if you enjoy the spice. I loved how the chilaquiles were still crispy and not too soggy in the burrito which I was afraid of but really good and a nice portion. They also add rice and beans in it and the egg. The Firulais burrito comes with whatever you prefer your protein to be, hash brown and egg. They did also bring us three salsas on the side which were also good, one being a creamy avocado type and two red ones. Also got cafe de olla and it was really delicious very flavorful. Staff were very nice and very attentive.

If you're in Moreno Valley and craving authentic Mexican food, stop scrolling--this is the spot! I've dined here several times in the past month, and every experience has been a fiesta for my taste buds. This mom-and-pop shop serves up not only incredible food but also a warm, family-friendly vibe that makes you want to stay for dessert (and maybe seconds). Let's taco 'bout the food: My kids are obsessed with the loaded nachos (basically happiness on a plate), while I can't resist the grilled chicken smothered in melted cheese and mushrooms. The grilled steak is another winner--juicy, flavorful, and generously portioned. Portions are "pre-COVID-sized," so you won't leave hungry, and eating here multiple times a week won't have your wallet crying for help. Pro tip for foodies: The menu has pictures, but unless you've got 20/20 vision, bring your glasses. A fellow foodie next to me had a mini-meltdown because he forgot his specs and couldn't figure out his order. Also, don't worry if you don't speak Spanish--the menu is user-friendly and speaks the universal language of deliciousness. Most dishes aren't spicy, but if you're spice-averse, let your server know (and maybe hold the chiles). The guacamole is small but mighty in flavor and price. And whatever you do, save room for the café de olla--a heavenly mix of coffee, cinnamon, and dried orange peel. It's like a hug in a mug that warms your soul. Highly recommend this hidden gem! But shhh--don't burn the spot. For more foodie adventures, follow me on Yelp. Jordan

They have regular street tacos, they have their customized tacos, they have their signature tacos, they have burritos of different varieties, they also have different bowls to choose from... I ended up going with the Firebird bowl and I was not disappointed. It is a good size portion for the value, I have enough for leftovers. It also filled me up. This is a much better alternative to fast food, so much healthier and it's still quick to go. It does not take that long. The best part is they have a drive-through if you do wanna get it quickly! I'm lying that's not the best part, the best part is that it taste so good. I've been to healthy places like this before and they don't always taste that great this place actually taste so good. Second best part, the vibe in there, the people that worked there they were so nice. Stephanie was really friendly, I knew what I wanted to eat, but she was still kind of enough to offer suggestions. She suggested the churros come with the crem on the bottom, I definitely recommend giving them a go, those things were good. I decided to save some for my children lol Stephanie was just a pleasure to talk with and she was really nice. They do have restrooms to use while dining there. It's located against the street, you can pull into their little parking lot or you can pull all the way into the plaza, which is a huge parking lot so parking is definitely not an issue here. I'm not from this area, but if anyone else else's, I suggest coming here to eat. If I am in the area again, I will be back.

The meal started off strong with their chips and salsa--super fresh and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the chicken fajitas. While they were cooked properly, I wish they had a bit more seasoning to really bring out the flavor. My wife had the enchiladas divorciadas, which were beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the filling was a bit cool. She probably should have sent it back, but since we were in a hurry, we didn't bother. On the positive side, my daughter had the carne asada burrito, and she said it was excellent. Service started off great with our younger male waiter being very attentive at first, but it slowed down significantly as our meal went on. By the end of our visit, I actually had to go up to the register to ask to pay. It was lunch time, and it wasn't that busy, so this felt a bit out of the ordinary. Despite the hiccups, I'm willing to give Morena's Mexican Cuisine another try, as it may have just been an off day. The chips and salsa, along with my daughter's burrito, showed that they definitely have what it takes to impress. I'll reserve final judgment after my next visit!

Before placing my order, I called the restaurant to make sure I was ordering enough food for 11 people. The first employee who answered did not speak enough English to communicate with me and abruptly hung up on me. When I called back, another employee put me on hold and eventually assured me that the amount I ordered would be more than enough to feed 11 people. That advice was completely wrong. When the food arrived, there was barely enough to feed two people. It was embarrassing and unprofessional, especially since this was a business event. I was forced to leave and purchase additional food from another restaurant at the last minute. I immediately called the restaurant to explain what had happened. Once again, the person who answered did not speak enough English to understand my concerns and placed me on hold. I eventually hung up and tried calling back several times, but the phone remained busy. I then drove to the restaurant in person because I wanted to give them the opportunity to explain what happened and make things right. After waiting quite a while, a gentleman finally came out, apologized, and said he would pass my information along to his boss. I never had the opportunity to speak with a manager or owner, and no one made any effort to resolve the situation or follow up with me. This wasn't just a mistake with an order--it was a complete failure in customer service, communication, and accountability. I gave this restaurant every opportunity to address the issue, and they failed at every step. I will never use Taqueria 2 Potrillos again for business catering, work lunches, or personal orders, and I cannot recommend them based on my experience.
