    Ceviche De Atun

The staff is very friendly and attentive! The Ceviche de Atun is insanely delicious! Never had anything like it. The tacos A La Uyu Yui are so good too! One of my favorite places.

Every time I visit this location the waitress brings a complimentary consome de camaron. I love this!!! I ordered a caldo de pescado y camaron and an order of oysters. I have no complaints on the food. These people are always on point. The waitress was very nice, she was always smiling and gave us our space while my friend and I eat. I will definitely continue visiting this location with my friends

Skimpy large cóctel with unripe avocado

First time here ordered a "large" cóctel and received this . Added extra avocado and it was still not ripe .. Imagine you been on the road from a long work week and you just wanna get home drink a cold beer n have a good cóctel and they come up with this .. smh

    Macaha and Shrimp tacos
    Auriana N.

I've been a couple times now and it's worth the visit. This visit I choose tacos: Macaha and El diablo (shrimp). The Macaha was a bit dry but it was still pretty tasty. The Diablo sauce wasn't as hot as I like but I like fire in my mouth so...there's that's. The service is always great; then even have a little button on the table if you need anything. Prices are super low so YAY for that. Parking can be tricky but hey, it's worth a few laps around the plaza.

It was a day off and met a friend for lunch. It's located in a shopping center so parking is limited. Good thing there is parking on the street. Walk in and pick were you want to sit. The staff is friendly and right away they bring you a menu and tostadas and salsa. You sit and dip as you look over the menu. Just be careful because before you know it you are two tostadas in and have not placed your order. They also bring you a cup with a little soup. I do have to say the soup has a good flavor to it. Once I looked over the menu I placed my order. Tostada de ceviche de cameron - The tostada was a goods ice and good flavor. Of course I added the basics like salt and tapatio. That always adds a little more flavor to it. I have to say I enjoyed this more than the cocktail. It is a good amount and I think with two tostadas this would have been goo meal on it's own. Shrimp Cocktail - Shrimp with cubes of tomatoes and cucumber. The flavor was just ok. I had to add ketchup and of course Tapatio. That added a little more flavor to it. I do not think I would get this again and I would just stick to the tostadas. Tostada Mixta - My friend had the mixta tostada and he really enjoyed it. It came with shrimp, fake crab, cucumber, tomato all on top of a tostada. Michelada - I had a modelo michelada and it was just ok. I have had better. The flavor was ok and I am not a fan of chamoy on the rim of the glass but that really didn't stop me from drinking it. Maybe next time I will try something different or just stick to the ceviche. Stay hungry my friends!

The tacos were incredible, extremely fresh. I had a shrimp taco that was served with a medley of grilled vegetables and it had just enough crunch. It was LOADED with plenty of shrimp. The Korean Asada had a different unique flavor and I would definitely order both tacos again The ambience was great, and everybody working had a smile on their face, and the music was great. Overall, some of the most unique interesting flavors I've had. Thanks Chendo! I'll definitely be back. Wishing this place all good things

Their barbacoa is wonderful, really juicy, and I love that they garnish with pickled red onion. I also tried their Tinga Masala, yes that's chicken tinga cooked in curry! It wowed me, it tasted so good! Their tortillas are hechas a mano, handmade corn tortillas which made it even better. Definitely going back, gonna try their burritos next time! I'm just shocked I overlooked this spot, I live really close and they just opened a coffee stand in the same spot which I also recommend! All the staff are friendly and lively, they were very nice to chat to!

Demanding as Mother's Day, when most places are overwhelmed, they still managed to deliver an experience that felt intentional and heartfelt. Despite the long wait, it was clear that the demand far exceeded expectations, yet the service never lost its warmth. At one point, she even offered me an agua fresca as a gesture of kindness while I waited. I respectfully declined, understanding that a day like Mother's Day comes with heavy volume and pressure, and that delays are simply part of supporting a small business doing its best under strain. What stood out most was the owner's presence. She carried herself like a mother to everyone there serving each customer as if they were family. She stepped away from her own personal time to make sure other families were fed and cared for. That kind of sacrifice and commitment is not just business; it's cultural preservation in motion. TACOZ brings authentic heritage flavors to the city in a way that feels irreplaceable. The tamales, carnitas, and overall food experience were deeply rooted in tradition and full of flavor that reflects generations of culture. People should understand that moments like this are not about convenience they are about supporting something real. On busy days especially, patience is part of respecting the work being done. Instead of criticism, there should be appreciation for what it takes to keep a small, culture-driven business alive and thriving. In the end, TACOZ delivered more than food. It delivered a connection to heritage, family, and community. That kind of experience is something worth valuing and protecting. Keep Going gurl ! I'll be back and so many of your audience ! One person doesn't bring down a team ! Both meats were good, but a little under-seasoned for my personal taste. I also tried the Jamaica agua fresca. It was refreshing, but I'd personally give it about a 2 out of 5. On the other hand, the salsa macha was really good and added a lot of flavor to the meal. The place is a bit small for dining in, especially when it gets busy, but the customer service was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. I'd definitely come back again because I noticed several other menu items I'd like to try next time.

If you're craving authentic antojitos from Ciudad Guzmán in the southern region of Jalisco,…read moreAntojitos Los Cuates in Compton is absolutely worth the drive. As someone who grew up enjoying the flavors of Jalisco, I had been yearning for the famous raspadas--large homemade tostadas--and the variety of traditional antojitos that are so popular back home. My family and I decided to give this place a try, so we made the drive all the way from Riverside County to Compton, and I can honestly say we were not disappointed. This is a small, family-owned restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food tastes homemade, just like the meals your mamá would make in Jalisco. You can tell that every dish is prepared with care, tradition, and pride. We ordered the tostadas, tortas ahogadas, and tacos duros, and every item was packed with authentic flavor. Unfortunately, we arrived around 3:30 PM and missed out on the pozole because they had already sold out for the day. That alone tells me it's a favorite among their customers, so I highly recommend arriving early if you're hoping to try it. The service was excellent, and despite the restaurant being very busy, the staff remained friendly and attentive. Keep in mind that this is a small family-run establishment, so your food may take a little longer to arrive. However, that's because everything is made fresh to order, and the quality is well worth the wait. Places like this are becoming harder to find. If you're looking for authentic flavors from Jalisco and want to support a hardworking family business, Antojitos Los Cuates is a hidden gem that deserves a visit. We'll definitely be back.
