Both meats were good, but a little under-seasoned for my personal taste. I also tried the Jamaica agua fresca. It was refreshing, but I'd personally give it about a 2 out of 5. It might've been the lunch rush hour for what seemed like local businesses and job site construction workers, mechanics, everyone, etc! Overall from line to ordering to receiving it was a little over an hour. The place is super small with maybe 2-3 seating tables inside. Has restrooms which require a key to use. The staff was not pleasant and the patrons were a mix of crazy side eye stares to friendly and hungry. I'm in love with Tacoz. Never have I fallen in love with a burrito at first bite like I did with carne asada burrito from Tacoz. Just the vapors alone without tasting the contents was enough to win me. You could taste the aroma from the carne asada as soon as you bite in before you taste it itself. I got an horchata and a vegan birria taco as well. The horchata was the perfect pairing. It was not too sweet, refreshing, and home-made tasting. I loved it. You know an horchata is good when you can single out the cinnamon and rice flavors individually from the drink. I enjoyed the birria vegan taco due to the hand-made tortilla they use, but I can't speak much to its flavor. I'll have to try it again. I loved that I got guacamole sauce with my order!! I first tried their tamales de corundas during Christmas and loved them so much I had to tell my parents. They were excited to find out the restaurant was close to their place, so we had to check it out! The atmosphere was great--my mom especially enjoyed the music. We were also greeted with respect and a smile as soon as it was our turn to order. We ordered the birria plate, carnitas plate, tamal de corundas, rompope flan, and tamal de elote. All though they provided friendly service, our order was wrongbut we ate it any way. they completely mixed up our order even though we confirmed it on the screen as they asked us to. Ordered some beans and rice, the beans had onions in it without it being noted in the menu. with a slight onion allergy, spend a good part of the rest of my night itching away. they need to be more aware of properly notating their food ingredients. its a very small space but we were lucky to get the larger table in the four table place. not the worst place, but check it out any way in Lynwood. read more

For two people, we ate plenty and had enough for the next day. For three people, we added a quesadilla and the tamal preparado (it's seasonal so get it if it's available!) and we were still stuffed. It's a very small location. Three tables. Not good for large groups. Parking is available across the street on the street. Desde hace tiempo queria ir a probar la comida en este lugar , hoy finalmente fui y para mi sorpresa fue de mal a peor ! Para empezar la persona ( mujer cabello rojizo y rizado ) que tomó la orden fue muy descortés , despota y con una actitud de que le está haciendo el favor a uno de tomarle la orden . Mi orden incluyó una torta ahogada y unos tacos dorados de papa , tanto la torta como los tacos estuvieron malísimos . El bolillo de la torta nada que ver , la salsa ni por tantito se asemeja a lo que se esperaría para una torta ahogada y del chile ni hablar , pues no tienen ni la menor idea a qué debería de saber ( poniéndolos en contexto yo soy de Guadalajara y tanto allá como aquí en Los Angeles he probado un sin fin de tortas ahogadas , unas deliciosas y otras no tanto pero las de este lugar en verdad son las peores !! Pasando a los tacos tenían una apariencia de estar medio cocidos con un color totalmente descolorido y para colmo tanto tacos como torta fueron servidos en un diminuto plato que resultaba casi imposible comérmelos cómodamente ! Cómo si todo lo anterior fuera poco , ese mismo día pero en la tarde al estar mirando mi cell de repente aparece un alerta de que habrá un Live de ese restaurant , entro y comento que fui y lo que ordené . La persona que lo estaba realizando ve mi mensaje y me pregunta si me gustó , a lo cual le comento con la verdad que no y ella sin el más mínimo tacto me dice que si a mí no me gustó , que había a quien si le gustaba y que hasta de muy lejos venían por sus platillos ! Dicho lo anterior también agrego que si no me gustó que hacía en su live y que dejara de seguirla y que ya no regresara , a lo cual contesté que yo solo entré por que quería dejar saber mi opinión ! La verdad viendo su reacción y la forma de tratarme entendí por qué la persona que toma las órdenes se comporta de así , pues tanto ella como la persona del Live ( la cual creo es la dueña ) no tienen manera de tratar a los clientes !! Por último le comenté que yo creo que se deben de escuchar tanto los comentarios buenos como los malos pues de ellos es que se puede mejorar !
