The food here is really good, super flavorful, and honestly one of my favorites. I always get the aguachile appetizer, so I really wish I could rate this place higher. Unfortunately, the way we were charged on multiple visits has made me a lot more cautious about coming here. The first time my coworkers and I came, we were a party of 5. When it was time to pay, they added about $30 in gratuity without explaining it to us. We were given a receipt, but it wasn't itemized, and the additional amount was literally written in with a pen. Nobody told us what the extra charge was for. On top of that, we ordered waters with lime and were charged $6 EACH. For water and lime. That was honestly insane to me. What really bothered me was that on my most recent visit, I noticed a sign stating that automatic gratuity applies to parties of 6 or more. We only had 5 people the first time, so I'm still confused as to why gratuity was automatically added to our bill. Then, when my coworker and I recently went to pick up food, they also tried to charge me for an extra aguachile that I didn't order. Thankfully my coworker noticed and said something because I honestly didn't even catch it at first. The "cash only" sign also threw me off a little, especially after these experiences. Again, the food itself is genuinely delicious, which is why I'm giving 3 stars instead of less. But I would definitely recommend checking your receipt and your total carefully before paying, because we've now had more than one issue with unexpected or incorrect charges. read more

Disappointed in the pricing practices here. Several items on our final bill were charged at a higher rate than what was listed on the physical menu. When we brought it to our server's attention, it was dismissed as a "recent price update." If prices change, the menus should be updated or the customer should be informed upfront. The food is great, the waitress with long blond hair passed by me and my sister and even hit me with her hair a few times which became irritating. I asked if we could order at the register and she laughs saying "Oh I thought they had helped you" she had seen nobody had gone to the register. I simply said No. She made sure to get my name when getting my order but didn't ask my sister for hers and confirmed my Shrimp Cocktail was going to have Octopus. Not only was my michelada bad but that's probably cuz I prefer a different type but my Cocktail was only shrimp and no Octopus. Even after acknowledging my order was supposed to have Octopus. Well as soon as you arrive no cards accepted cash only, there atm doesn't work, and ended up walking in the sun around the parking lot to a store getting cash walking back, finally ordering a jarrito mandarin sorry no mandarin ok lime ok, ordered a super cocktail with everything on it, from them 20 min , and no avocado y asked for some ,they said it comes with it but they are out.
