Spicy garlic edamame beans are good.

First time at restaurant. This is my experience. The staff was nice and friendly. The food came out fast and quick. The food was good and hot, we order the spicy garlic edamame beans which was delicious.

Tried for the first time and it was really good. The lunch specials are not small. They are super filling. My friend couldn't even finish her plate. A plus is it's right up the street from my work. I will be back

We visited Bengee Sushi during their happy hour. We had ordered their Shrimp Tempura Roll, Spicy Garlic Edamame, baked Salmon Roll, and Golden Tiger Roll. Each dish was delicious in their own way. The service here is great. There's lots of seating to choose from and it has a nice clean vibe to it.

I had a very disappointing experience here. For context, I am a Black woman, and from the moment I walked in, the woman at the counter's attitude came across as nonchalant, rude, and unhelpful, almost as if she did not want me there as a customer. I still decided to give the place a try anyway. The menu was also underwhelming. A lot of the sushi rolls seemed to be built off the same California roll base, which made the selection feel limited for a sushi restaurant. What really bothered me was when I asked for eel sauce. I was told it would be an extra 75 cents and that none comes with the rolls. I have never been to a sushi restaurant where at least one eel sauce is not included with certain rolls. When I asked about it, she gave a snarky little chuckle that felt dismissive and rude. Considering I spent around $26, I do not think it is unreasonable to expect at least one eel sauce to be included. I also noticed signs posted in the restaurant encouraging customers to leave reviews in exchange for incentives like free drinks, which makes me question how many of the positive reviews are based on genuine experiences. Overall, the customer service here was terrible, and I will not be coming back.

Came in for happy hour the service was quick the deals are good. The food was hot and fresh

Came here on a sister lunch date date to try a new spot

Came here on a sister lunch date and it did not disappoint. The servings were pretty big and very affordable. The meat was tender and the edamame was fresh and perfectly salted. The service was top notch. Marcus seated us and helped us during our visit. He was super friendly and funny too. The ambiance was great, not too loud or too much going on. Very clean and well taken are of business.

As Jurupa Valley starts growing into its britches, it's nice to see more sushi restaurants appear, especially in this new plaza. No, it's not AYCE, let's get that out right now. I popped in midweek for lunch. It's hard to really get a sample size in one trip going solo, but I ordered the chicken gyoza for the appetizer, and 10 piece chef omacase nigiri sushi sampler. I noticed they have a lunch special for two rolls, but the list excludes some more complex options, which is understandable. My gyoza arrived first, as planned. I had to ask for a side of ponzu sauce, however, so maybe declare that up front when ordering? Anyhow, the sauce was superb! Fresh and bright, a hint of citrus and smooth. Recommended for dipping, the dumplings were clearly made in-house and had a fresh satisfying flavor. My spiral platter arrived with the 10 pieces arranged nicely with any special sauces applied to each piece, if applicable. Next time I'll order a la carte, but I did affirm my dislike for squid and chewy octopus. The other varieties were really nice, especially the salmon toro and Hamachi. The seared salmon and albacore also stood out. I wasn't really impressed with the blue fin tuna. It wasn't flavorful, and several pieces seemed a little dry in texture. As stated above, more trips are necessary to get an adequate feel, but I liked the ambiance and thought maybe they should dim the lights a bit. The austere decor is also in harmony with the restaurant theme.

Finally! My wife and I have been waiting for this place to open since the sign went up months ago. We love sushi so a chance to find a good place just down the street is what we needed. First off the place is very nice. Ultra clean and sleek decor just like in Japan. I always go for Unagi as my baseline for judging sushi. This passes with flying colors. Super fresh and clean taste. My wife ordered the Carpaccio Sampler which was also excellent. To finish off we had the adult roll. Spicy tuna jalapeño and avocado. A really good roll. I realize sushi is an acquired taste but I urge you to push your boundaries and try something new. This is the place to do it. Definitely Recommended.

The ambiance is very cute...such a clean restaurant. The staff is amazing, the menu is very aesthetically pleasing and they have amazing happy hour specials. Tried this place out of a whim and I'm so elated that i did. Definitely coming back here with my friends or potentially on a date. For their happy hour special I ordered the playboy roll with a 2pc jalapeño bomb and on the side I got a yellowtail hand roll.

We were looking for a good sushi and ramen spot all night and were starting to think we wouldn't find anything open. Luckily, we came across this place and were happy to see they close at 10 PM, which gave us just enough time to sit down and enjoy a meal. The food was really good overall, but the sushi especially stood out. It was incredibly fresh, came out quickly, and the presentation was great. You could tell a lot of care went into how everything was prepared and served. On top of that, the prices were amazing for the quality you get. So far, this is the best sushi we've had in Jurupa Valley. If you're looking for fresh sushi, great presentation, quick service, and awesome prices, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

Thought I come back since our first time was amazing and no surprise the food and service was great once again. I would definitely recommend this spot to my friends.

The udon was flavorful, comforting, and exactly what I wanted, and the mixed tempura absolutely slapped. What really keeps us coming back though is the service. My experience wasn't marred by busy crowds, in fact, I walked in just after the Cravings food court opened and was the sole customer at this restaurant. Sure, the beer bar was happening behind me, but I was especially glad to finally eat here before shopping next door at 99 Ranch Market and Costco. The menu has lots of little ways to expand and explore, but their fixed price handroll meals are really good. Either 5 or 6 rolls ($25/30 respectively) are already excellent values for the variety, far better than the typical 'chef's choice' at most sushi restaurants. I overlooked the best deal, however, which has the same variety as the 6pc meal, with the addition of miso soup and seaweed salad. Miso soup and la carte is only $2.50, but that punctuates why I should have read deeper into the remarkably compact menu. Nonetheless, my chef was Udi, who was very nice and careful with the assembly of all 6 rolls. My first two were the salmon and toro, the latter melts in the mouth, and the former illustrated the texture of the fish and special nori sheets they select for a unique experience. Other rolls came out including scallops, yellowtail, blue crab, and lobster with its light mayonnaise sauce. Absolutely delicious! The miso soup is also particularly good, fresh and expertly prepared. I'm looking forward to another round, plus maybe a couple add-ons.

I did the 4 handroll set - which consisted of salmon, yellowtail, bay scallops, and crab handrolls. I wasn't feeling the crab and asked if I could substitute it. And the server was a little fast in serving me the next roll as I wasn't done with what I was currently eating.

Their seabass is good, but I've had better. Truffle udon 7/10- creamy & udon cooked al dente (just how I like it). Sashimi deluxe platter 10/10: my boyfriend and I had not seen any photos of the sashimi deluxe pot that we ordered, so as soon as the server brought it out, our eyes widened and jaws dropped. First of all, the platter was absolutely beautiful , there was dry ice that was cascading out of the bamboo fixture, like a waterfall, over the bed of ice, and pieces of the sashimi weee decorated with fresh wasabi and 18K gold. Our server gave us a presentation, so that we knew what we were eating, and once we picked up the first piece of sashimi with our chopsticks and ingested it, it was LOVE at FIRST BITE! Although most of the items were tried were good. The Sashimi was the definite star for us. My boyfriend and I agreed that our main focus to order on our next visit is the sashimi. Tenmaya has become my favorite Sashimi restaurant in town!

I ended up ordering spicy edamame, vegetable egg rolls, veggie rolls, tempura veggie rolls, and vegetable yakisoba. My sister, who's a meat eater, ordered calamari, California rolls, beef fried rice, beef yakisoba, and a new Korean bbq dish that wasn't on the regular menu, but there was a picture of it on the wall by our table. In addition, we each also got a bowl of miso soup and a small salad that came free of charge with our meal, which I appreciate since sushi rolls by themselves don't really fill me up. Everything tasted good and was filling and even now after eating some of the leftovers, it all still tastes good. The place itself is nicely decorated with a bunch of police patches behind the counter while on the walls there's Japanese artwork. The only hiccups I had was when I first came in I immediately asked for 2 waters. I got a nonverbal "Mm-hmm," so I repeated it again and got the same response, but a little more annoyed. Maybe it's a cultural thing where I was expecting an actual "Yes" and in Japan it's just a noise of acknowledgement, but once I started ordering so much food the waitress was much nicer to us. The 2nd was when we had to wait for the last dish to come out when we were already packed and ready to leave, but that was more on us since we added the Korean bbq last minute. The last has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, but the plaza it's in. If you're unfamiliar with it, I'll tell you right now that the parking situation is a nightmare! Basically, the parking lot is a long narrow stretch sandwiched in-between with the various restaurants and shops on one side, and the main street on the other side, so what ends up happening is all the good spots right next to the place you want to go to get filled up fast and you have to try and make a U-turn and find parking far away. Meanwhile, a bunch of other cars are trying to do the same thing while other cars are trying to come in off the street. It's horrible! It's an accident waiting to happen! I hate this plaza and whoever designed it! Anyway, if you're willing to put up with the parking situation, the restaurant and food are good enough for you to forget about it until you're trying to leave.
