We all ordered mariscos of some sort but only one dish really stood out, and it was notably a cooked dish. I forget what it was called, but it was a grilled white fish & it was incredible -- the best dish by far. I ordered the octopus tostada & felt that the freshness was lacking + that the octopus was a little overcooked. Others in my party felt similarly about their shrimp tostado & aguachile. Their cocktails were enormous, fun, delicious, and got us tipsy, though. Wish they would have come out sooner so we could have been a little drunker for the meal -- might have enjoyed it more.
Food: excellent! Loved their fish dishes! Everyone ordered different dishes and we all loved our food. Ranging from fried fish, coconut shrimp, different tacos, molcajetes, baked fish, and grilled fish. Service: outstanding. They were all very friendly and I loved how they all were accommodating. Ambiance: very welcoming, airy, and where the locals go! Cute setting!

I have t been to Los Cabos in a while so our first call was to this place. It's still a frat place for seafood and the staff is great. This is a place where locals hang out and the prices are very good. However, the gastronomic offer is consistently good and fresh. This place is all about Mexican flavors on seafood; no apologies. All sauces are fresh and extremely well seasoned. The first thing they do is to offer you a steamy cup of shrimp broth. From there you are in seafood heaven with the traditional Mexican flair. It was a great choice when I first came and still is this 2025. A place to visit if you want out of the high price restaurants geared to tourists. Highly recommended.
This was actually recommended to us by a local who works at the resort we're staying in. A quick look up on Yelp helped in making quite easy the decision of giving them a try. We picked the Toro Ceviche and the shrimp toro and two kid's servings of beef burgers. Everything was so good and the serving sizes are huge! Even the kids meals are adult size! The room is also really spacious so it was quite comfortable insides despite the fact that there were a lot of people in there today. Oh, and one more thing. Their complementary shrimp soup is probably the best item on there. It tasted so fresh and very tasty I could just stop there more my meal!
Avoid oysters if you are sensitive to water in mexico. Never had a problem back in USA. But the oysters gave me diahhrea. Fish was good tho
My husband and I visited this restaurant twice during Cabo visit. All the food we tried was AWESOME. No complaints about the food. EXCELLENT. We tried morcajete sea and land, fried whole fish, shrimp tacos and octopus caviche. Service was 3 stars. They are not really friendly to check back if we needed anything. Also, on the second visit, the lady at the cashier she charged my card 940 pesos when the bill showed 490 pesos for fried whole fish and shrimp tacos. I tried to point it out, then she kept saying that's for cash pay. I was like if I pay with card, they double the bill?? Luckily my husband spoke fluent Spanish so she canceled the transaction and recharged correct amount. She never said sorry. So WATCH out for YOUR BILL AND CHARGE.
Everyone told us that this is a great place to go eat but it was just decent to me. I was told later on that I should have gotten smoked marlin tacos and other items than what I ordered but that was after I went there. They have a small parking lot beside the restaurant. Inside in small and has a party vibe. I ordered the surf and turf. Large pieces of shrimp and strips of steak in a lava bowl with the tomato sauce still boiling and gobs of cheese on the side. The cheese turned into black gook on the lava rock and I burned my tongue waiting (or unable to wait) for my dish to stop boiling. My brother ordered some type of fish dish with cream sauce. He said it was decent but not great. Ehhhh
The Food, The Music, The Service all 5 stars. La comida, La música, el servicio 100%. If you want some quality mariscos at a great price come to Mariscos El Toro Guero. The marlin is 1000000000% normally have it in Nayarit, MX but the Marlin here is amazing and full of flavor! Aguachile is good but... if you are like me, we've made aguachile at home for decades and we use a ton of serrano chiles. "If" you are looking for a spicy aguachile, I'm not sure if this will live up to your expectations. Depending on your Spice Tolerance. We paid for a few songs from the musicians, had some margaritas and we were attended promptly. We uber'd here or took a taxi and it was easy to find.
We had the most delicious dinner here last night. Our friend's Uber driver recommended it, we probably would never found this gem on our own. It felt like we were in old school Mexico. A mariachi band was playing in the lower part of the restaurant which added to the ambience. The service and food were amazing. We will definitely be back!
The food was excellent, but the waitress ripped us off bill was 1455 pesos =83.00 gave us 4.00 dollars back in pesos from a 100.00 dollar bill. plus gave her a 20 dollar bill so she got 30.00 tip US dollars. Unbelievable

One of the problems when you use the traditional search engines for restaurants, is that they do not always come up with good selections. This is even more true, when traveling overseas. You're in another country and you wish to eat where the locals eat. There's a way around that. You ask the local people and this is what brought me to, Mariscos El Toro Guero, for lunch. Immediately, you are in the indigenous space, injected with culture, music, ambiance, the staff, even the air takes you to where you really should be. From the get go, the service was spectacular. The salsas arrived immediately after I was seated. Yes, one of them was the habanero. Tostadas instead of chips, were in a sealed plastic commercial bag. They were crisp, flavorful and tasty. I wanted to try three different tacos, seafood of course, so I took a mix of fried fish, a grilled fish and then a shrimp. It came with rice and I asked for beans which interestingly, came in a glass bowl that you would use for a mini ice cream sundae. Fresh, flavorful, soupy, just the way I like it. The rice was kind of sweet. Everything from start to finish was perfect. What a wonderful and unforgettable, lunch experience. read more

This place was recommended by several locals, so we gave it a shot. My review is probably tainted because it was so hot and some guy from the street came in with a very horrible singing voice holding a cassette player and was allowed to sing at the top of his lungs then came around asking each table for money. I almost left because it was that bad. We were given a seafood broth in a cup, which was pretty tasty. Their margarita was huge, but too sweet for my taste. The empanadas mixtos were overstuffed with cheese. There was one that was super fishy, and not in a good way. Their coconut shrimp was bomb!! That was the one great thing about this place. So good and crunchy with great coconut breading. We paid with card and the lady said I had to tip with cash. She was not very nice about it, but after giving her a great tip, she turned that scowl into a smile. I would not go out of my way to return. read more
After spending a week in Cabo I was ready to enjoy some Mexican seafood. This restaurant came highly recommended by several of the locals we met on our fishing trip and it didn't disappoint. The hard thing about this meal was deciding what to order as everything sounded delicious. Lucky for us they have a platter with a little of everything. So we ordered the Parillada de Mariscos. The atmosphere was awesome too. Several live music guitar duos were coming around the tables to offer to play a few songs. Something about having live music makes any meal more enjoyable. Our Parillada was out fairly quickly and as you can see from the photo it looked delicious. The food was enough to feed 4-6 people. It is served on a small grille with charcoal to keep food hot. What you can't tell from the photo is that there was a second layer of dishes under all that goodness. The seafood dishes with sauces were probably the best. The whole meal was simply delicious!!! read more

Upon arriving, there was a parking lot across the street. We sit wherever we liked (indoor/ourdoor). We ordered a michelada and a fresh pineapple drink. No complaints 10/10. My honey ordered all shrimp lemon marinated ceviche, he gave it a 7 only because he dislikes white onions. I ordered fish tacos and garlic sautéed shrimp. Those were a solid 8, only because the fich taco sauce could be better. Not a bad place to eat, great service amd nice ambiance. read more
On my second day I was craving for some seafood, our driver was super nice and recommended this place. It was a litter further out from the marina, but the price was a lot cheaper because it's away from the touristy areas. He dropped us off and told us to call him when we're done (wish I could give him five stars and a review). I ordered a filet relleno! My seafood craving was fulfilled, it was stuffed with fish, octopus and shrimps. I also got the oysters, with melted cheese and bacon pieces on top. Must try! It was sooo good. They also set out tortilla chips, and side dishes/sauces for you to try. They also offered me a menu that was in English (I attached it to help you out, If you're still learning your Spanish like me). Overall, I had a great experience! read more

The restaurant was crowded and we had a short wait. They opened up the upper fining area to seat us and some others. Tables were appropriately distanced. Service was quick and friendly. Had 3 or 4 people approach table within minutes. We ordered a beer and himaca, a tasty hibiscus drink. Very refreshing. Chips and salsa arrived quickly. The yellow salsa was habanero and we weren't warned. Very hot!!!! We enjoyed an amazing shrimp cocktail and clams for out appetizer. Both delicious and so fresh. We shared the broiled fish which was more than enough for two. Served with rice and salad and wonderful fresh corn tortillas. Everything was the proper temperature. Mariachi band was playing live music on the main floor. Wonderful meal and experience. Entire meal was $25 US. read more

Pretty big place with fresh seafood and seems like a local spot vs tourist one. I felt very safe during covid times. Everyone is wearing masks. Prices are pretty reasonable. The fried shrimp with cream cheese was pretty tasty served with a sweet sauce, can't go wrong with the ceviche. read more

We went here multiple time during our visit to Cabo. Food was great most of the food we tried tasted amazing with the exception of the fish chicharrón it was kind of soggy. Out favorites were the sashimi and the garlic butter crab legs! read more
