Recommended by the bookie on our cruise since we were looking for good ceviche, and this was the closest solid spot he suggested. The ambiance was great, with a live band playing while we dined. They were very accommodating to our baby and provided a high chair, which we really appreciated. We ordered the mixed ceviche, tuna tostada, and breaded shrimp entrée, everything was delicious. We also ordered a michelada, and it was absolutely on point.
This place is great location, right on the Mariana. But it has definitely lost its touch over the years. My family went there ( 7 of us) and I was the only who enjoyed my food. I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla and it was DELICOIUS. My hubs and mom ordered the fish tacos and were disappointed. The service was good and you can't beat the views. I will give it another chance next year, but they are busy so maybe it was a one off situation.
Great seafood restaurant on the Marina. It's big with lots of seating, but it gets crowded really quickly! Service was friendly and fast. Their guacamole was amazing! They make it for you right in front of your table, and it was delicious! We ordered the enchiladas, dynamite shrimp, and fish tacos. Food was good, but it wasn't the best I've had, especially for Mexico. Dynamite shrimp was really spicy, so be careful if you can't eat spicy like me. Their flavored margaritas were delicious too. They have virgin versions too for strawberry and mango if you want a special drink but can't drink alcohol.
Really liked this place. We ordered the Tuna Tostadas, 3 Al pastor tacos, and 3 shrimp tacos. The tuna tostadas were delicious. Super fresh and had a really good flavor. The salsa that comes with it is a little smoky flavor. I really liked the al pastor tacos. Super big portion with really good flavor. My mom enjoyed her shrimp tacos too. Would definitely come back here again.

We started off with some freshly made guacamole in a large molcajete, shrimp nachos and the guys ordered a bucket of beer which came with chips with green and red salsa. My pina colada and margarita with Don Julio hit the spot! Everything tasted soooo good and it was made fresh! They even have wood fired pizzas made to order. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server Sandra and her assistant were friendly, attentive, and quick to offer great recommendations from both the menu and the drink list. The staff clearly takes pride in making their customers feel welcome. With the marina as a backdrop, the views made the experience even more special. Watching the boats sway away while enjoying tasty food was unforgettable. Captain Tony's is a must-visit if you're in Cabo, whether for the fresh seafood, excellent service, or stunning location. I'll definitely be returning on my Next vacation :)
The food here is great. They have such a wide variety of food you can choose from the service is top-notch. The ambience is nice look back and there's the marina with all the boats and yachts.
Fun environment but tons of bees and boardwalk venders hollering at you while you eat. Decent service but kinda small so if you go when one of the cruise ships docks you might have to wait a decent amount of time.

Always on a mission to eat at as many different restaurants as possible while in Cabo. Captain Tony's has never been on my wish list. Last night in Cabo and didn't want to walk or cab anywhere so we did the easy thing and came here. So glad we did. The view is right on the marina , the service may was amazing and the tuna platter 4 ways was amazing ! We will be back in October!
We got in late and found Tony's near our hotel for a quick bit to eat . Great restaurant on the marina for people watching . Live band and great food . We had tacos and ceviche both fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly, attentive and always with a smile . Great place .
Cabo I was looking desperately for a God honest good breakfast of Chilaquiles. This place did not disappoint? I had Chilaquiles Divordiados.. which means they have green and red salsa. I also added my chicken for protein. It was good with the chicken but in retrospect I would have ordered them with eggs instead of the chicken, just because I didn't care for the chicken already being prepared with onion & peppers By the way, they do have an expensive menu or just an option and drinks. it's located in the marina. You can park in the hotel that is next by the marina. You have to pay a fee to park there, depending on the length of time but is very handy... just walking distance, The service is great and it's open area with a good breeze

This place came at the high recommendation from one of the fellow cruisers on the tender. They recommended the banana margaritas. The place has an open, airy feel with live singers who serenaded us with a song. We ordered the house ceviche and grilled shrimp tacos. Loved both dishes since both were fresh. I liked the chips and salsa. Service was great and people were friendly. The verdict on the banana margaritas? Delicious! I would definitely come back. You can taste the fresh bananas in this drink and it wasn't overly sweet. The pricing was okay considering it's in a touristy area. read more
Pineapple mezcalita and pastor tacos hit the spot for me this time around! Any time I'm in Cabo I'm always looking for somewhere that stands out as a place I'd like to revisit- Captain Tony's hit that mark. Flavorful bites and a cocktail strong enough to eliminate any stress for the day... though... who has stress on vacation?! :-) Glad I decided to make the stop because it can be hard to find places that are worth a revisit when in high tourist locations. read more

Really good food. I had Buffalo Wings, the best garkic bread I've had in a long while, a pizza that was pretty good. The drinks were also good (not weak). The wait staff was attentive and friendly. Sat on the rail and people watched and enjoyed the view. I'll be back. read more

Came in here on a whim while walking the Marina in Cabo San Lucas, mostly because it was kind of crowded. The food was ok, but the ambiance was great!! Located right on the Marina with great views!! Is this place touristy? Yes, most definitely, as are most places along the Marina. There's a bar in the middle of the restaurant, and the live music was just ending as we walked in. The food came rather quickly, I don't remember what type of fish I ordered, and I ordered the toppings on the side just to make sure cause they mix everything together. It was ok, the portions were a bit small though. All in all, a good experience here!! read more

aye, aye, Captain!! Admittedly, we did not leave the touristy marina area to explore other parts of town. We should have been adventurous, yet I think we left our "courage" and navigation abilities on the ship. I think our lack of ability to speak Spanish had something to do this uninformed decision. And so, thanks to recommendation by some YouTubers (the channel is called Bill and Lisa's Food and Travel), we found ourselves at Captain Tony's. NOTES 1. We were on a 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise, and didn't really have much time to explore......even if we had the courage to do so. 2. They accept cash (US dollar$ accepted!). 3. The restaurant is located deeper into the tourist parts of the marina. I felt it was about a 10-15 minute walk from where the tender dropped us off. 4. Seating in the restaurant is at tables or the bar. There is no A/C......except in the restrooms! We checked in with the host, and waited about 10 minutes before being seated at a table on their lanai area overlooking the marina. After perusing the menu we decided to share (we were also quite hungry) the guacamole (prepared tableside), ceviche, fajitas, and street tacos. A round of margaritas completed our meal. The tableside preparation of the guacamole was done carefully and efficiently by another server. Based on the showmanship, it was evident he has perfected his skills on guacamole prep. Well done. Aside from the fresh guacamole, I really enjoyed the tacos and my margarita. The meal honorable mention is awarded to the ceviche. I was fortunate that my friend wasn't too fond of this dish and I finished most of it. The fajitas were just ok. They were our last favorite dish of the entire meal. SERVICE Very friendly and attentive. Our main server was a hard-working young man who was quite patient while narrowed down our choices. He expertly answered all our questions and checked on us regularly throughout the meal. side NOTE We were concerned we brought too much pesos with us to Mexico, and that we might not be able to spend it all. We actually spent ALL of our pesos ($100 equivalent) on the meal including the tip. BOTTOM LINE Yes, I'd probably agree with most that Captain Tony's is a tourist trap. But, its convenient location and decent food and drink make it a satisfactory dining choice. read more
Homeland guac at your table. Excellent preparation and taste! Crowded which tells you it's a must go to! Servers are friendly and there's even a local artist that sketches you at your table. The mariachi band is a nice touch as well! read more
I flew into Cabo for Thanksgiving weekend, and this restaurant was conveniently located on the marina. The place was PACKED, and the ambiance was lively with music from live players and the chatter of guests. The musicians will play a song for you if you ask, but be ready to tip them afterward :) The service was lovely! There were three people tending to me although I was dining along. I started with the Caesar Salad, which was prepared from scratch table-side. It was nice watching the process, however I do believe it attracted flies. I could not get the flies off of my food the whole time I dined. The salad tasted good otherwise. I followed up with shrimp tacos for my entree. They were delicious. I stopped eating on the last taco because the flies got overwhelming. It's conveniently located, and the food is good. read more

This restaurant is at the marina near dock #1. My husband reserved a private boat tour to the Arch pretty early, so we planned to stop in for lunch. Captain tonys has a big menu with lots of different entrees to choose from. We decided to stick with seafood and it was delicious. Initially, we were to come back for dinner but got caught up and had dinner at another fabulous restaurant. There are so many places to choose from along the marina. Captain tonys is a must try. read more

This restaurant was super cool! We were looking for a quick lunch spot by the marina. It's delicious food and table-side guacamole, which is freshly prepared right in front of you hit all the spots. The service was great, with a friendly and attentive staff that enhances the dining experience. We came here because it was the closest restaurant from the port after being dropped off by the water ferry from our cruise ship. Staff were friendly. However, food was not up to our standards. The tacos and quesadillas were all very plain and unseasoned, but I heard that's the "AUTHENTIC" way in MX. The chicken wings were cold & the drinks were not strong at all, tasted like watered down smoothie. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this spot. Tony's space is actually very small but not crowded. read more

Visited for lunch during a cruise port day at Cabo. It was a Sunday afternoon and we were seated right away without reservations. Started with refreshing limonadas and margaritas. We ordered table side guacamole, tuna rolls, sea bass, fish & chips and ceviche mixto. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The ceviche tasted just like mom's and I don't say that often! The restaurant decor definitely gave marina vibes. The walls were covered with photos of famous people who had visited the restaurant. read more

2 mins walk from Tesoro Resort. Best memory with this place celebrating my birthday! Place was nice open view of the marina. Server was phenomenal. Food was delicious. There's nothing that I would complain about.. it was full of laughter with us and the servers there. Even the one that didn't serve us help created good memories. read more
