Their rad salsa is well-balanced, slightly smoky, and a fair bit spicier. I highly recommend trying both. Their meat might be a little polarizing for some, but was very much my style. The carnitas were my least favorite; a little fattier than I like but still solid. The asada was very good and I think would be perfect in a burrito. There were a few tough pieces but overall the flavor was excellent and mostly tender. The Al pastor was the drier crispier style you sometimes see -- not particularly pineapple forward or adobado, just savory well-seasoned pork. A few pieces were straight up crispy; I love my Al pastor like that, but I get that style isn't for everyone. It was an excellent contract to the tender masa-forward tortillas and the generous portion of grilled onions. This spot also has some options you don't see as often at trucks like enmoladas and enfrijoladas. I haven't tried them but I'd definitely return back to this spot, especially to have their al pastor again.

The second time I came here it took close to 40 minutes to get my order. I wasn't in a rush but that could be a deal breaker in some situations. There was a family of 4 that was eating at the table nearby so I won't hold it against them too much. The pupusas however were more salty than the first experience I had here, not in a good way either. As I was leaving I saw to the right of the cashier a cabinet that had the pinwheel cakes with coconut crumbs on the outside. I don't really like coconut but that looked delicious. So i purchased one.
