I was working down the street and had time to check this stand out. There was one person in front of me in line so I asked what he thought of the pupusas. He didn't have a review to give because he was a regular on getting the torta, apparently. When it came out his torta looked exactly how he described it. Huge and well put together. It looked flavorful too. I ordered pupusas on the 2 occasions that I ate here. The first time it took about 10 minutes and the pupusas tasted standard, not bad at all. The second time I came here it took close to 40 minutes to get my order. I wasn't in a rush but that could be a deal breaker in some situations. There was a family of 4 that was eating at the table nearby so I won't hold it against them too much. The pupusas however were more salty than the first experience I had here, not in a good way either. The service is good and the workers are very friendly so I dont wanna give them a bad review at all but do what you will with my review. read more

Yeah, it's a food truck, and yeah, you sit on plastic chairs unless you get it to go, but you can watch this wonderful cook preparing and cooking your pupusa's from scratch! Top it off with the curtido that they provide, and it's a great meal. Yeah, curtido is kind of like a cabbage cole slaw type of stuff, but for some reason when you dump it on top and eat it together with the pupusa, it's the exactly perfect blend. My husband went to the most amazing taco stand and brought me back 6 carne asada tacos. Omg not greasy rubbery meat. It was crispy and tender and covered with fresh onions and cilantro. They have this spicy green sauce that tastes so fresh and is so spicy. I often find taco hot sauce not very spicy and I eat very very spicy. This is the bombbb!!! I will come here often now!!! You must try . Also very clean and packaging is good. Update: came by here again after being outdoors all afternoon. Ordered 5 carne asada tacos and a carne asada burrito. Hidden gem at the corner of Winchester & Williams. Quite a surprise to have both the pupusas revueltas and carne asada tacos be so delicious! So much flavor in the asada itself let alone the tortillas are fried just a bit which adds to the overall bite. The pupusas were REALLY tasty and better then majority restaurants nearby that serve Salvadorian/pupusas (e.g mi chalateca, mi chalateco). This little truck is a hidden gem! I got the carne asade tacos and a bean and cheese papusa. All were made fresh and the gentleman was so kind!! The sauce was just the right amount of spice for me, and the cabbage slaw on the side with the papusa was delicious and fresh--the perfect complement. This Salvadorian food truck just opened across the street from where we live. Seems to be run by a husband and wife. They are very nice. I asked for two orders of pupusas revueltas (bean, cheese, and chicharón) and it took about 15 minutes for them to finish and it was well worth the wait! Delicious, fresh, perfectly balanced flavors (make sure you eat with the cabbage and green salsa). The only thing to be aware of is that they are cash only; if you need to use card be ready to pay an extra $2.50 to use the ATM inside of the Shell station. New, pupuseria and taqueria truck, located at Shell gasoline station on corner of Winchester & Williams. Found it as was driving on Winchester; according to cook, it has been open a month and a half. We ordered some revueltas (cheese, beans and chicharrones) which we're very good. These are made to order, so be prepared for a 15 minute wait--but worth the wait, as are served piping hot. While the pickled curtido (slaw) was ok, the green spicey salsa was great. Will be returning next time we're up for pupusas. read more

Where do people park to access this food truck since it's on a busy intersection? One of the best pupusa meals we've had since our old go-to place (Sabor Salvadoreño in Santa Clara) went out of business. We had three different types of pupusa: Chacharron, loroco and queso, and they all tasted great.
