Like a backyard party at your tios house
    Hebers C.

Oysters and mariscos, seafood royalty! Sadly there was no fiesta in my mouth. Shrimp cocktail lacked in flavor. But the buckets of beer made up for it. Best part of this was enjoying a beer, watching the football game and listing to 2 groups playing music. Felt like a backyard fiesta at a tio's house. I didn't anticipate space to be big. Everything is outdoors, either under the patio wood awning or under a few umbrellas. We found seating quickly and were attended to fast. There was plenty of seating Parking is street. It was a true test of patience finding parking on the street, a short walk to the place.

Had the tostadas de Camaron, and it had a lot of imitation crab, Got the pescado sanrandiado and it was way better than expected. but took for ever to get here. People that got there after me got their food before me. Place they sat me smelled like garbage from the business next door. Overall the fish was good place and service not so much.

The place is not the greatest. The food was horrible. I ordered a fried fish and they gave me a burnt fish. I order a soup and the soup was so salty was not edible. My whole entire food was left behind the drink that I order didn't look like the advertisement picture so I so I ask and I was told they didn't have what they needed it so I could look like the picture. I was not in there for free food or a free drinks so I paid my bill. The music was extremely loud and they did not care when I requested the music to be lowere down.

????????????????????? please do not go here asked for fish and chips and they brought me a fish and pringles

The vice here is definitely what you come for. The mojarra was delicious but the ceviche was pretty miserable. The oysters were mediocre, but the buckets of beer and live music made up for it.

It's a vibe! Large outdoor dining with music and mouth watering aromas filling the air. Service was great. My shrimp tostadas were 10 out of 10. The tostadas look freshly made. I'm not from the area, but I'd make the trip to Mariscos Nayarit

Ceviche mixto is one of my top ceviches in L.A! The flavor is to die for!

I've been coming here for years. It's my go to for authentic Mariscos. Love the outside seating, and the Mexico feeling it gives you. There's lots of vendors that come by, so be prepared to spend some $ lol. The guy who sales pan de elote & cheesecake is amazing. But some!!!!! Also this place is cash only! So make sure you go with it.

The Zarandeado is amazing!!!! Love this place. The ambiance is chill and the service is great.

The tacos were incredible, extremely fresh. I had a shrimp taco that was served with a medley of grilled vegetables and it had just enough crunch. It was LOADED with plenty of shrimp. The Korean Asada had a different unique flavor and I would definitely order both tacos again The ambience was great, and everybody working had a smile on their face, and the music was great. Overall, some of the most unique interesting flavors I've had. Thanks Chendo! I'll definitely be back. Wishing this place all good things

Their barbacoa is wonderful, really juicy, and I love that they garnish with pickled red onion. I also tried their Tinga Masala, yes that's chicken tinga cooked in curry! It wowed me, it tasted so good! Their tortillas are hechas a mano, handmade corn tortillas which made it even better. Definitely going back, gonna try their burritos next time! I'm just shocked I overlooked this spot, I live really close and they just opened a coffee stand in the same spot which I also recommend! All the staff are friendly and lively, they were very nice to chat to!

Demanding as Mother's Day, when most places are overwhelmed, they still managed to deliver an experience that felt intentional and heartfelt. Despite the long wait, it was clear that the demand far exceeded expectations, yet the service never lost its warmth. At one point, she even offered me an agua fresca as a gesture of kindness while I waited. I respectfully declined, understanding that a day like Mother's Day comes with heavy volume and pressure, and that delays are simply part of supporting a small business doing its best under strain. What stood out most was the owner's presence. She carried herself like a mother to everyone there serving each customer as if they were family. She stepped away from her own personal time to make sure other families were fed and cared for. That kind of sacrifice and commitment is not just business; it's cultural preservation in motion. TACOZ brings authentic heritage flavors to the city in a way that feels irreplaceable. The tamales, carnitas, and overall food experience were deeply rooted in tradition and full of flavor that reflects generations of culture. People should understand that moments like this are not about convenience they are about supporting something real. On busy days especially, patience is part of respecting the work being done. Instead of criticism, there should be appreciation for what it takes to keep a small, culture-driven business alive and thriving. In the end, TACOZ delivered more than food. It delivered a connection to heritage, family, and community. That kind of experience is something worth valuing and protecting. Keep Going gurl ! I'll be back and so many of your audience ! One person doesn't bring down a team ! Thank You ! *Your food brought tears to my family knowing they will never be able to go back to Michoacán for several reason but was able to revisit them once more !

Both meats were good, but a little under-seasoned for my personal taste. I also tried the Jamaica agua fresca. It was refreshing, but I'd personally give it about a 2 out of 5. On the other hand, the salsa macha was really good and added a lot of flavor to the meal. The place is a bit small for dining in, especially when it gets busy, but the customer service was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. I'd definitely come back again because I noticed several other menu items I'd like to try next time.
