If you are familiar with going to Rosarito for mariscos, this is exactly the vibe without having to get stuck in traffic to cross the line for 3 hours. It was incredible! Where it lacked, was the food. It felt like I was at a tio's backyard listening to 2 grupos playing music, having shrimp cocktail, oysters, and a bucket of beer as we watched football from one of the tv screens they have under the patio. It must be a popular local spot as the place does get packed. I saw plenty of people ordering their pescado. There were people walking around selling little knick knacks, pasteles, portraits. The food could have been better. The shrimp cocktail lacked in flavor, it was very bland. I ended up using the ketchup, tapatio, salt and lemon at the table to season the shrimp cocktail better. We enjoyed having the bucket of beers as we listened to the music. As others have said, check the bill. We were being charged for a full order of oysters when we had only ordered half. Luckily I had my photo to prove it. Overall a cool place to check out if you want to listen to authentic grupos and enjoy some beers. read more

Best part of this was enjoying a beer, watching the football game and listing to 2 groups playing music. Felt like a backyard fiesta at a tio's house. I didn't anticipate space to be big. Had the tostadas de Camaron, and it had a lot of imitation crab, Got the pescado sanrandiado and it was way better than expected. but took for ever to get here. People that got there after me got their food before me. Place they sat me smelled like garbage from the business next door. Overall the fish was good place and service not so much. read more

The place is not the greatest. The food was horrible. I ordered a fried fish and they gave me a burnt fish. I order a soup and the soup was so salty was not edible. My whole entire food was left behind the drink that I order didn't look like the advertisement picture so I so I ask and I was told they didn't have what they needed it so I could look like the picture. However they literally gave us a small about of veggies as the side!!! Like please this is only enough for one person and the tomato was nasty as hell!! Visited in a Sunday afternoon to celebrate my pops bday. We arrived at around 12/1215. There's a small parking lot that maybe fits 10 cars and there's a man there who you give your keys to, he will close the gate if it gets full. If not you can park along the street. It's a big establishment with folded out tables. The micheladas were delicious. The waiter was very nice and attentive. There is ppl walking around trying to sell you crosses, candies, portraits and kids toys. They had two separate bands playing. You must specify the kind of shrimp to fish you'd like for ex I ordered a shrimp and jaiva tostada and he asked if I wanted the shrimp cooked in lemon or cooked in water. They have bottled water and sodas. They only sell seafood. In case the kids don't want to eat any of it there's a McD's and Hercules nearby and they allow outside food. Our total bill was about $500 but it was about 23 of us we all ordered drinks and buckets of beer so I think it was a pretty good deal. You must order the fish it was delicious it just comes with veggies no rice or salad. read more

I've been coming here since I was a little girl and since yesterday I've never thought of double checking my receipt. We were charged $123 and when I asked them for the price breakdown they charged a few extra things we didn't order and told me some items were now a little extra. They still got upset since I spoke out and "fixed" the price from 123 to 100 and they couldn't explain how the 23 extra dollars was coming from. If you come here make sure you check your receipt since they just scribble the total on the side of a paper. It's honestly sad knowing they're stealing from their own customers. I don't think I will be coming back and I will be letting my family and friends know about this incident. read more

My wife was craving their grilled fish aka Pescado Zarandeado. It was her Bday so had to make it happen. I called and got the 411. Limited and spaced out all outdoor seating. So we came in. Made a stop at the ATM to feed the Musicos. Got in and seated right away. First up a bucket of Modelo's. We ordered the zarandeado. Shrimp, fish, and octopus ceviches. Some tostadas mixtas for my daughters. The green salsa is fire. So spicy. And so good. The tostadas here are the bomb. Can eat tostadas and green salsa all day. The fish was just like I remembered from all those Sundays when we used to get there at 9am and left at closing. Yes, I know. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmm With about 3 buckets of Modelo's And few more on the house from Enrique and El Tambo, having the musicos play was a must. Have not been here in about 15 years. I asked the waiter if he was serious and he asked what was wrong with my tostada. I said where are the vegetables and his response was oh you have to tell me you want vegetables. I told him this is the first time I come here and I had no idea that you would bring tostada out like this. There was an older man waitressing, and I told him that that was not a way to serve food. I should've reviewed this place before going for my birthday but I decided to trust my parents. Giving this place one star because the Pescado Zarandeado was the only thing that was good. The service was terrible. Keep in mind that there was less than ten tables that were occupied. They did give us someone's order during the time of service. Once it came to being charged, they had the price of 142 on our paper. And, told us that wasn't the actual price. That it would be 182. Supposedly, the menu prices didn't reflect the new prices and that the owner didn't want to print out new menus because he doesn't want to spend money on printing new ones. lol We weren't told about the new prices to begin with. They do not put anything on a receipt. Very unprofessional. read more
