The truck was the nicest on this "Food Truck Block". Everything was amazing & with all fresh ingredients. The tacos ( chicken, or beef, or chorizo), Quesobirrias ( cheesy tacos with a beef broth dipping sauce), and Mulitas ( taco ingredients place between 2 tortillas and fried. All 3 were crispy and perfect. Best tacos ever!!! All the add-ons were extremely fresh too: spicy pickled onions, shopped raw onions, cilantro, spicy creamy pepper sauce. So after this "taste test" on a Sunday morning, we decided to hire Viva Birria NJ for a backyard party we were having in May. Part II: The Party Tent...So, they set up a tent in the driveway. Donovan and his assistant were awesome! Totally prepared; super friendly; The food smelled and tasted so good. Everyone loved it. We had tacos & queso birria tacos and also added Mexican Street Corn ( in a cup). They grilled all the fresh corn, seasoned it, shaved it off the cob and had a big hot pot of it to make individual portions in cups. Plenty of fresh queso fresca was there to use as well. Best of all, Donovan gave us everything that wasn't eaten so we had plenty of tacos for days! I highly recommend you visit the food truck in Passaic, or think outside the box for your next house party. It was the easiest part of setting up this outside party. Bravo Viva Birria -NJ!!! ( thank you Steve!)

Visited this place for the first time after we were recommended by multiple people. And I realized…read morehow I had missed on good sea food till now. Once you come in, I must add that the parking is quite limited, make sure you park in a safe spot. As u enter the restaurant, it gives u a proper seafood vibe. What we ended up ordering were Oysters, crab cakes which came with fires, Calamari, seafood boil (one with old bay sauce and the other with Cajun seasoning) and Ofcourse the dessert- lava cake with vanilla ice-cream and some drinks. The best part? The seafood comes in a plastic bag with your choice of sauce. They do provide you the plastic bib, gloves and everything u need to indulge in your serving. The Cajun is absolutely delicious, it's spicy, hot and perfect for my kind of taste bud! Well it's not a perfect fancy date spot , but if you wanna get messy, get get going .. the Calamari, oysters, lava cake .. everything tasted perfect and I am going back there for sure.

A friend of ours suddenly said, "I want seafood boil," and just like that--we landed here…read more Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on a Saturday night. The place was packed, and we were with a baby, but luckily got a table pretty quickly. The menu has great combo options where you can mix crab, shrimp, lobster, and more--all in one. TBH, that's the way to go instead of ordering everything separately. We ordered two Combo F along with shrimp fried rice and Cajun chicken fried rice. Combo F comes with Snow crab legs (1/2 lb), lobster tail, shrimp (1/2 lb), Potatoes (2 pc), Corn (1/2) Now comes the fun part... The seafood arrives in a plastic bag with your choice of sauce (Cajun, Garlic Butter, lemon pepper, Old Bay, Island style). They shake it all up, and then it's on you to dive in. You're given gloves, crackers, and tools to break open crab legs and lobster shells. Basically It's messy--but its beautiful mess ..lol I started off all proper with gloves and tools, but after some point, I ditched the gloves because it was just easier to enjoy the food that way. The Cajun sauce was absolutely delicious--rich, spicy, and full of flavor. I even ordered plain rice just to mix it with the leftover gravy... and wow, that was a amazing. Highly recommend trying that! Everything is essentially boiled seafood tossed in sauce, so don't expect anything grilled or crispy--it's all about the flavors and experience. The fried rice was tasty too, though the rice itself was a bit on the harder side. This isn't just a meal--it's an experience. Perfect for going out with friends, getting messy, and enjoying good seafood together.
