Delicious food truck with great picadillo tacos (ground beef and potatoes). Definitely recommend. They also have hot dogs for the kids.

Came for lunch on a Thursday at about 12:30. There were a few people seated but not many. We…read morebasically had the place to ourselves.Fanny was our waitress. We started with the Guacamole and chips and the vegetarian nachos. Both came out very quick and were excellent. We also ordered drinks and they also came out in a timely manner. I had a mojito, my stepmother had a margarita and my dad had the sangria. Drinks were pricey and a bit weak but overall good. We ordered our food and I had the Thursday lunch special Birria which was very nice and tender, my stepmother had the chicken burrito it was huge and very good and my dad had the shrimp and steak fajitas which he loved. We ended the meal with the outrageous churros piping hot and such a sweet surprise!! We talked with Yanci who is the owner's daughter and she was so nice and sweet. Best part about this place is the atmosphere everywhere you look it just gets better. The decor is awesome and everything just went perfect together. I read other reviews about how it probably is on a busy night and I'm happy we came when we did... that it wasn't hectic and loud. We would definitely come back again for lunch to enjoy a drink and share our food (because we all left with extra left overs) Overall definitely give it a try.

I think they are bogus. This restaurant has several locations around NJ. Parking is valet only. The ambiance and decor is pretty, fun and loud. Very loud. We were seated upstairs with a pretty good view of the restaurant. Where we were seated, the lights coming from the huge projector screen was annoying. They give you an iPad to look at the menu, which can be confusing if you are technically challenged. I am not. My husband is! There's a photographer going around asking if you want a picture. I agree with one of the reviews. It seems that they are only interested in upselling. I ordered the house margarita the regular size. It was OK, from a mix, but no tequila to be found at $13. My husband had a Pacifico beer which he ask twice for lime and a glass. They brought him a margarita glass and a few dry limes. At this point he gave up. I had the chicken fajitas. It came with Rice, black refried beans and some guacamole. The included three flour tortillas were terrible old and dry. The only thing good were the fajitas. We also ordered chicken chili rellenos. Came with the terrible rice and the refried beans. My husband said they were OK. Edible as he put it. The Mexican food here is not authentic. Now for the service. Our server, told us right off that her English was limited. We speak Spanish, so that was not a problem. The service is mediocre. We asked for water twice. Finally she brought it. But not the hot sauce my husband asked for twice. It's definitely a 3 star restaurant. Catering to people that want the fun but are OK with mediocre food.

They are renowned for their vibrant flavors, bold spices, and diverse dishes catering to all tastes using ingredients such as tomatoes, onions, garlic, and cilantro. Authentic Mexican food is more than tacos and salsa. The Garden State is hailed as one of the most diverse states when it comes to food, hosting some of the best Mexican restaurants on the East Coast. Whether one desires a quick taco or a full-course meal, my friends and I were craving rich and bold tastes from Mexico and decided on this family-owned establishment for an early Cinco de Mayo dinner. The reservation was easily made by calling Mariachi Grill, located on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst. Upon arrival at this popular spot to locals, with its cozy and casual interior decked out in traditional Mexican vibes, we were greeted by the staff and immediately got a table by the entrance, but they also have outdoor dining, weather permitting. The menu selection is much smaller than at other restaurants. We decided on the Cheese Enchiladas, Beef Enchiladas, California Burrito, Beef Burrito, Chicken Fries with Fries, and Shrimp Fajitas. Some meals are accompanied with a small portion of rice and black beans. Complimentary house chips and salsa started our meal. As the restaurant is working on their liquor license, it's BYOB. One can bring your own tequila or wine, and the staff will mix it with their sangria or margarita mixes. We washed our meal down with a pitcher of sangria. The presentation was very good. The food was made incredibly fresh, well seasoned, deliciously tasty, and generous. The price was very reasonable for the area. Our server Lisa with her outgoing personality and her desire to make our visit enjoyable, which we didn't feel rushed. Good experience overall, which we can recommend.

They were, without exaggeration, the worst drinks we've ever been served. We politely asked if they could be remade and explained how bad they tasted. The waiter told us they could make new drinks but would still charge us for both the disgusting drinks and the replacements. He said he'd speak to the bartender, then disappeared and only returned when our food arrived, clearly trying to avoid the issue. When I asked if he spoke to the bartender, he casually said, "That's how the drinks are made," and that nothing could be done. At that point, we accepted the overpriced drinks and didn't even drink them. It was Taco Tuesday, which somehow made things worse. The tacos didn't meet even Taco Bell standards. To make matters unacceptable, I bit into a taco and pulled out a hair from my mouth. Based on how dismissive the waiter had already been, I hesitated to say anything and unfortunately, my instinct was right. When my friends told him about the hair, he laughed and said it was my hair, then claimed the chef is bald so it must be mine. I'm not sure how my hair would end up inside a taco, but he outright accused us of planting it there. After that, we were ignored for the rest of the night. The restaurant was practically empty, yet the service was hostile, dismissive, and unprofessional. The atmosphere felt dead and uncomfortable. This used to be a nice place, but that experience is completely gone. Between the awful drinks, low-quality food, and shockingly rude service, this was an all-around terrible experience. We won't be returning.
