Made an appointment at 9 am on a Saturday and was paired with Natali! She got started on my nails right away as soon as I sat down and showed me all the colors they had. I went with hard gel and got a neutral color. Her attention to detail was amazing and she kept checking in on me to make sure the length and shape was good. Natali's cuticle work is impeccable. So detailed and clean!!! I was so amazed! The appointment was around an hour for a Russian hard gel manicure. She was fast but very thorough in her work. My cuticles looked amazing and all the dead skin was off. Love my nails and would come back again!!!! read more

I had an amazing experience at Marivanna Nails today. Thanks to Ira, I walked out with the most beautiful nails I've ever had! The photos I included don't even do them justice, but look at the gorgeous nail shape and those perfectly clean lines. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and all seem to be extremely talented. I overheard the girl at the station next to me saying her nails haven't looked this good in a long time. I also may have been peeking over and they did look amazing, so clearly I wasn't the only one receiving extremely high quality service. Don't be fooled by the fact that it is a fairly new business, because the nail techs clearly have years of experience. It is also a huge plus that they are open until 9pm every day, and I was able to make a last minute appointment at six. I am not always great at planning ahead, so that was very convenient. I gave it a 2nd shot. Unfortunately, disappointed again. I was more disappointed than the first time. Great customer service but prices are (apparently) subject to change and the results are not worth the price. When i went the first time, I got gel mani, $75. This time I got gel manicure and just a regular pedi(no gel) my total was almost $200. I got a cut the first time and I got cut the 2nd time as well. I won't be going back. read more

I did not have a pleasant experience at this nail salon. The technician who did my pedicure seemed annoyed that I chose not to get gel polish. I've never had gel on my toes before and have never had any issues with regular polish. I requested a milky white color, but she only applied two coats, and the result looked streaky and uneven. When I politely asked if she could add another coat, she refused, saying it wasn't going to dry and suggested switching to a regular white instead. I was also concerned when I noticed her using a tool to poke her own finger after it had been used on me. The technician who did my manicure was very kind and did her best, but the quality was not up to the standard of a Russian manicure. After I got home, I noticed a small cut on my thumb, and several cuticles were not properly trimmed. The cuticle area on one of my fingers has also been tender and sore. I paid $180 for these services, and unfortunately, I do not feel the quality matched the price. Overall, I am very disappointed with my experience. read more

Marivanna Is literally hands down the best nail salon in Los Angeles, I've been coming here for a year and they always do the best job to my craziest design and never complain when I am late. I drive over a 100 miles to get my nails done every two weeks. I have never broken or chipped a nail, there products are fantastic and the best Russian mani and pedi. IT TOOK THEM NOT EXAGGERATING 3 hours to do my nails plus they charged me $140 total for gel refill and fixing one nail, I got there at 7 and left at 10! The tools they used look like you can get it from the dollar store and she took so long I understand taking your time but it looked like she wasn't sure what she was doing. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're patient and for convenience. I still liked my nails but wasn't worth the time spent there and felt inexperienced.
