I decided to get my nails done last minute because I was in LA for a concert and called Hana Nail for an appointment after seeing all the good reviews. I was able to get an appointment the same day so I went here straight after my flight. Now a month later, I can give a proper review of how my nails lasted. After one month, all nails but one has survived. The overall service was very fast she got me in and out within an hour and for the quickness they sure lasted a long time. The nail that didn't last had a charm on it and the charm got caught on smth while shopping (oop). I love staring at my nails and everyone has given me complements over the nails. The only thing is to note as many LA nail salons, these were quite expensive (120+ for gel nails). She knows how to marry the designs you like. Bring in photos of what you like! If you have a hard time figuring out which design you like, such as me, she posts a bunch of what is possible on her instagram, and others post on yelp and google. Since she's very busy and popular, I highly recommend booking as early as possible. I book her through instagram message. There will be a stool to put your stuff on and if you have extra folks with you, there is a bench they can sit on and wait for you there behind you. Price: ~$100+ (depends on the design you want) Restroom: There is a restroom outside the room Location: Inside the building on the 2nd floor, go to the left after you get up the stairs. Parking isn't easy but free parking in the parking lot behind the building is the best place. Came on a weekend morning and weekday around 5pm. Weekend morning is better with more chances of getting parking. There is a bus stop next to the building if you take the bus stop. Accessibility to other things: If you're hungry, Han Bat Seol Lung Tang is on the 1st floor of the same buildling and across the road is the nice korean grocery California Market along with Two Hand Seoul Fresh Corn Dogs. read more

Skill-wise the technicians are good but not sure if the customer service was worth the hefty price tag. The owner was complaining that she was overbooked so they seem to be doing pretty well. Location: Parking was good but the salon itself was not clean and the surrounding area doesn't feel safe. Pricing: I guess basic nails nowadays are $70+ and up. There was a suggested 15 percent tipping sign on the door so that's the expectation. Overall: Not a bad experience but not worth coming back especially if you're coming from out of town read more
