She was almost threatening, like "why would that matter". I was thinking to myself -- it absolutely matters if your insurance is accepted, as to whether you can afford it or not. Hello?!! I was appalled by her tone, her threat as though they're entitled to have clients choose them even if they have to pay out of pocket. I was so glad it wasn't me in that conversation, I might not have taken it as well as she did. Poor lady! It really shook me up, I don't think we'll continue to go there, super strange vibe.

I then get charged $130 for said x rays. I asked them why they needed x rays when they were already done with the work. They said it was for insurance. I had already told them my insurance was depleted for the year. I got the run around when asking why and never got an answer I was satisfied with. Oh, and the temp crown yeah that fell out about an hour later. I was told this place works well with my insurance as a union electrical worker. I doubt I'm going back.

I was embarrassed to even open my mouth, but they ALL made me feel so comfortable the moment I entered the facilities. I was greeted with smiles all around. After the clean-up, they gave me recommendations for some work that needed immediate attention. They were so helpful to fit around my schedule. They told me that if I ever needed to change the appointment, just give them a call no problem. I do have to mention that before the cleaning appointment, I received a call from Dr. Tom Clarke. I'm not sure if this his just his style or all Dr's do this, but he called and wanted to make sure I didn't have any questions building up before the appointment. He wanted me to feel 100% comfortable before I came in. After I got my work done (the 2nd appointment) he called me the next day to ask how things were feeling. What Dentist does that? He even gave me his cell phone number to make sure I can reach him directly for any questions. Not your typical dentist. I HIGHLY recommend this Dental office. Friendly, knowledgable, and honest. They seem like perfectionist here and that's exactly what I want from people working on my teeth.

Looks like I started this review update at the end of December 2014. Doc Fisher and the gang here are still solid. Definitely get your teeth worked on here. I recommend it still. They offer an in-house dental care plan which is pretty fantastic. I've been using it ever since I returned to Puddletown back in '14. It's $275 for a year and they give you two cleanings & two exams, a whitening treatment, and 15% off of all services. I think it's great, and i just got another crown this summer (2017) and it was totes affordable. I hope you have a good experience here at TDC, if you go tell them that Patrick sent you, but if you have a bad experience I don't want to hear about. ~Smiling is even easier with healthy teeth, give it a try!

Beware of this place unless you enjoy being ridiculed, tortured and unheard. Dr. Ahn kept striking my teeth with his metal tool as a "test" to see if I actually felt pain in a particular tooth by striking my other teeth. He struck my teeth so hard that it hurt. He didn't answer my questions and when I made the fatal mistake of allowing him to do a filling, I felt pain in the location of the filling and still feel pain in that area over a year later. My tooth hurts more now than it did before I got the filling. Please don't make the same mistake as I did, find yourself a different dentist!!
