Wonderful family dental office with an outstanding doctor, who truly cares about your well being first and foremost. I've been in to the office a couple times now and each time Dr Gil always makes you feel right at home. A very friendly doctor as well so it feels like you are going in to visit a friend. The office is tucked away at the side of a shopping center. There isn't a big billboard advertising for them and it is a homey office when you find it. Truly a hidden gem. You get the impression that the patients there have all been coming back for years and years. I saw Dr Talsania for the first time today. I went in for a regular cleaning. Guess what they did not do? What they did do was keep me waiting for an hour and a half while they found out how much insurance money they could take me for and worked up a plan that would cost that amount. I have generally great teeth but Dr Talsania found $2300 worth of stuff he could do to my teeth to take my insurance company for every possible cent. Ridiculous. All I wanted was a regular cleaning. It could have been so simple. I will never go back. read more

I've been going to Richland Dental for several years and think it's great. The dentist and his staff always make me feel really comfortable. Everyone's very nice. And they always get me in and out quickly. All that is great but for me the most important thing is that I trust them not to push procedures I don't need. My last dentist said I had four cavities when I've only had two fillings in my whole life. I got one filled and then moved on to Dr. Julia who found my teeth to be just fine and I haven't had a problem since. We had gone to another pedatric dentist for my son for a consultation for his cavities and we're not sure if we should use him since he wanted to give anesthesia so we came to Richland dental and we are so glad to find Mansi Talsania she was professional and kind. They put a crown on my molar tooth which had a root canal and the crown fell off after 5 months. I couldn't go back to them because I left the state and it wouldn't make sense to go back to Texas to have them fix it. read more

UPDATED REVIEW---WARNING-WARNING-WARNING!!!!I'm sorry to have to write this because I thought this was a great place after my first visit but I'm not sure what happened and it took a swing, maybe due to carelessness. After my first filing I was in pain so I had to go back because it was not filled down completely and was causing a lot of pain. Then I tried the "Invisalign" and now my face is scared from whatever was used to put the attachments on my teeth. I hate to post this but please be careful when you visit this dentist I don't anyone to have to deal with the same things that I did. They did give me a full refund but now my face is scared forever. Richland Dental changed ownership in 2019. Dr. Gil Julia has retired and sold his business to Dr. Talsania. My first visit was for a broken tooth. Dr. Talsania was great at explaining what needed to be done and answered all my questions. She also informed me about the health of all my teeth and gums as well. The suggestions that we made we based on what she saw from the x-rays and the condition of the tooth in question. What work was to be done was my choice. She did not push any procedure on me. Bottom line, I felt totally at ease in the chair while work was being done. I was in the chair for several hours with no pain. Dr. Talsania and her staff worked with me when I needed a break. I even opted for another procedure mid stream as a preemptive strike because I felt that in a month I would be back her office needing it done after a certain event I would participate in. read more

Excellent dental cleaning! Not a huge fan of the ol' fashioned dental x-rays (digital is nicer) but they get the job done. Dr. Julia is very kind and seems invested in your dental health. Was a bit bummed about the extra charge for a fluoride treatment, but soon as I explained I was not informed, they did not charge - very classy response. Overall, I am very pleased and will be back for all my dental health needs and I encourage you to check Richland Dental out, too! read more

I recently called the Richland Dental Center, which was my dentist's office. Dr Gil Julia was my wonderful dentist for many years. I had been gone from Dallas for over 5 years. I asked for an appointment with Dr. Julia for me to look at one of my teeth which was very painful. The person on the other end of the phone made an appointment for me at a specific day and time. When I arrived at the dental office, I was told that Dr. Gil Julia was no longer the owner of Richland Dental Center and the new owner of the clinic was not a member of my UHC Dental Insurance plan like Dr. Gil Julia was. I would have turned around and walked out, but my tooth was too painful. The new dentist examined my tooth, took one x-ray and gave me a prescription for an antibotic. Then the receptionist took me to the front of the office and took my credit card and charged me $100.00 for this very minor appt and when I complained, she just ignored me. I will never visit this dentist again. I should have been told that my dentist Dr. Gil Julia was no longer there before I traveled so far to get an appt with him, only to be broadsided with the fact that he was no longer a dentist there. A charge of $100.00 is totally outrageous for the minimum appointment that I received. I felt like I had been lied to and then robbed. Be aware that Dr. Julia is no longer there. June 2019 read more

I'm very happy with the service and staff at Richland Dental Center. Dr Julia is super nice and doesn't recommend unnecessary work that is not urgent or necessary. I have noticed that there are always specials on whitening especially if you are a new patient. I'm not going anywhere else for a very long time! read more
