FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! I am a dentist from out of town and have been suffering from plantar fasciitis in a severe way with a lot of walking recently. I looked up Dr. Costopoulos on YELP and having very good reviews, I decided to try my luck. Needless to say the experience was beyond what I expected. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and very gentle. I was dreading going to any Podiatrist back home, not wanting to experience a dreaded injection of cortisone in my foot. After getting a recommendation from my wife's friend about Dr. Costopoulous, I decided to make an appt w/ him for a foot issue I was having. First off, the front desk was very helpful, friendly, and prepped me for the visit by the doctor. Dr. Cosopoulos couldn't have been nicer! He took his time with me going over my issues, remedies, and what to look out for. His bed-side manner is absolutely phenomenal and is exceptionally personable! Very disappointed. This podiatrist office didn't inform me that they were out of network for my insurance until *after* my visit and charged me over $200 and didn't even fix the issue that I came in for. They just suggested I go buy a few over the counter items from the pharmacy for my issue and their suggestion didn't even work. Felt like a scam and didn't solve my problem. I hope in the future you guys can communicate more clearly and inform your patients before visits in the future to avoid this type of situation. read more

I'd include a photo but no one wants to see it . I've worked with Dr C 3 times now and each time I'm impressed. I had two instances for myself and one with my 6yo. Each time he has made last minute arrangements to get me in same day and even stayed late to help my little guy. He's polite, highly competent and the old school family type clinic we lack in this world today. If you have a foot issue I would highly recommend setting an appointment. I could not have asked for a better experience at Dr. Costopoulos' office. I had a pain in my left foot and it was difficult to put any weight on it or walk. I called this morning to schedule an appt and his staff was able to get squeeze me in. Dr. Costopoulos was very thorough in his examination with my foot. He was extremely articulate in explaining my diagnosis; and really took the time to answer all of questions. I felt very comfortable and confident with his skill level and knowledge. Suffering with plantar fasciitis is no joke. Dr. Costopoulos brings so much value and healing solutions to this problem and offers practical solutions to help. In first visit my experience with him was exceptional. Patient and deep listening, he asks engaging questions to uncover solutions to this elusive riddle. I highly recommend Dr. Costopoulos as the level of care you will receive there is excellent! With all of the big medical practices and firms that I deal with (thanks to 2 active kids in sports) it was a breath of fresh air to be introduced to Dr. Costopoulos' practice because it feels more like a friendly neighborhood doctor's practice (because he is). We were referred to him from an Urgent Care office that we visited for my daughter's toe and from the very first phone call, I felt comforted and felt like my daughter's toe issue was a top priority for them. They were able to provide a same day appointment and were even able to shuffle something on the schedule to accommodate our schedule. When we got in there, everyone that I dealt with was really warm and friendly. This is a small but noticeable example, but new patient forms - I printed them off the website, partially filled them out and finished while they already had us in the patient room waiting to be seen. Most places make you sit in the waiting room as though you cannot cross the line to receive care until they've made sure everything on your form checks out. Another special touch, they gave us bandages and ointments for my daughter's toe care. Hopefully we won't need to go back, but I'd be happy to! read more

Dr. Costopoulos provided excellent care for me. I had an ingrown toenail and two other toenails deformed from previous trauma. As mentioned in other reviews as well, his office staff are extremely courteous, caring and efficient. Dr. Costopoulos's office worked hard to get me in as soon as possible. Dr. Costopoulos did a very thorough exam and explained the available options. He made sure to address all questions and concerns. He described the expected outcome and post-procedure foot care. DO NOT SEE THIS MAN If I could give zero stars I would. Rather than go into details about my unpleasant office visits, the end result of my visits have left me with a stress fracture caused by the orthotics he had made for me and said I needed. He also said I needed surgery for a bunion. Since the stress fracture is new I went to a foot surgeon who said I did not need surgery or orthotics and that these are the cause of my issues. I should have trusted my gut after my first visit and never gone back. read more

I just wanted to comment on the great and caring service I received yesterday from Dr. and his office nurse, Connie. I went in without an appointment just hoping to see if Dr. had something I could purchase for extremely sore bruise on my heel. I had trying to put a pad on it and put lidocaine on it but missed the bruise completely. I explained all to Connie, and she took pictures and sent them to Dr. who was out of the office. Now keep in mind that I had no appointment and office was closed for lunch. So Connie gets instructions from Dr. and proceeds to clean and bandage it properly. She then gave me extra bandaids. Such great service made all the more wonderful because I had to appointment. Thank you again to Dr.to Connie. They are great. read more

We found Dr. Costopoulos through our church bulletin, he is a dedicated podiatrist, sensitive to this patient's embarrassment of funky feet. Dr Costopoulos immediately puts you at ease with his calm manner. He evaluates the problems you are having and then comes up with a solution that he explains thoroughly so you do not have any surprises. I used to make fun of older peoples feet because they do change as we age, now that I am an older person, I just say thank goodness for Dr. Costopoulos, I can wear sandals again because he took the funk out of funky. read more

I found Dr. Costopoulos on Yelp via the 6x 5star ratings and decided to give him a try. I had pain in my toes that felt like ingrown toe nails and I figured it was time to get a professional opinion. Dr. Costopoulos offered me incredibly genuine, professional advice that I should get them removed. He did not pressure me at all to do the procedure like most doctors do these days. I knew that he just wanted to see my pain go away. Turns out he was right. I took his advice and He removed a ton of ingrown nail from both sides of each toe. For those of you worried about ingrown toe procedures, don't be. It was painless (except some slight discomfort/pain when the novocain is applied) and Dr Costopoulos was excellent in reassuring I was alright. He talked me through it and really made me feel relaxed. Overall, my experience was incredible. A+ staff. A+ doctor. A+ location (for me). I was really anxious sitting in the waiting room but by the time I left I felt extremely relieved and happy. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Costopoulos for any and all foot issues based on my experience. read more

I would give him and his office a zero if I could and I would highly recommend that all of you go to anyone else and stay clear of this horrible place. The doctor and his office staff are lazy. The first time that I went here I was fitted for orthotics. After 3 weeks I came back in to have them fitted into my shoes and because I was not wearing new balance, he said I can't trim and fit these for you and that I would have to do that myself. I was never informed that I had to be wearing new balance. What was the sense of having him make the orthotics if he wasn't going to complete the job! When I first made the appointment Kelly told me that she would check my insurance to see about my coverage. She waited till the day before my appointment to call and confirm. When I asked her about my coverage, she said that I would have to do that myself because she was too busy, so I did which took no more than 5 minutes. The office is so small that it is embarrassing and has an awful smell throughout. The bathroom which is shared by all, has no seat covers and is a storage area for all the orthotic moldings that were done. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!! read more

My 11 year old son was in a lot of pain from an ingrown toenail. It's a Friday, we are a new patient and I called right when the office opened at 8:30am. Dr. Costopoulos was booked all day and about ready to go into surgery. The front office was so kind and accommodating they asked if we could come in right away and he could see us. We arrived 10 minutes later and were greeted immediately with kindness, concern and professionalism. Dr. Costopoulos is clearly not only an expert in his field but helped to explain and calm my 11 year old that was worried about any procedures. My son left pain free and ready to tackle the weekend full of sports and tournaments. We got into the car and my 11 year old son said "Those are the nicest people ever!" Kids speak the truth! Honestly, I have been looking for a good foot doctor for a long time. I found this place on yelp after hours of searching I decided upon this place due to the rave reviews they had. I rarely leave reviews in general. However, this place is so warm and friendly I was greeted by a friendly receptionist I think her name was Hazel? Sorry, if i butchered that. The doctor was completely receptive to all of my needs. He actually sat down and explained everything to me which was awesome! In my experience doctors are usually in and out so fast I can't get a word in. But, Dr. Costopoulos was very patient in answering all of my questions. I mean he literally sat down with me looked in the eye and answered every question I had. I was honestly thinking is this really happening. I have never experienced such individualized attention from a doctor and their staff. I would definitely this place. Hopefully I won't have to come back for an ingrown toenail anytime soon.
