He basically was the engine that made my first time home-buying a smoother and more organized experience. He was very attentive and honest, asked thoughtful questions to get to know me and my family and what our needs were, he had a direct and no B.S. attitude, AND he was a freakin' wrecking ball when he's dealing with mortgage officers and inspectors. He IS the man. I gave him a list of my NEEDS (non-negotiable need to have this in my future house) and WANTS (not exactly that important but nice to have...one can dream right?). We also gave him a list of houses we were interested in (I think there were 8) but he presented one to me and said "I found the perfect house for you." I thought he was crazy (don't tell him that). Why? Well, this house ticked all of the boxes in our lists but was way way over our budget. You know what he did? He brought it all the way down and even below our max budget! Some other proof of this guy's skills: 1. We needed at least 3 bedrooms and 2 baths but dreamed of having more- Rick gave us 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with a big bonus loft space (for home theater or ballroom dancing? lol) 2. Needed at least one of the bedrooms on the ground floor for my mom and brother (who both had challenges climbing stairs) Rick gave us 3! Downstairs bedrooms with 2 full baths! 3. Needed a backyard for my mom and auntie's gardening hobby- Rick goes snap, you've got a beautiful backyard to do with as you please. 4. Wanted a swimming pool for those hot summer days in the Central Valley. Rick- you don't need the hassle, maintenance and upkeep... just walk a couple of doors down and you've got your own private pool and jacuzzi in your HOA. 5. This one is a stretch. For me personally, I fell in love with vaulted or cathedral ceilings in homes when I trained my client in her house and saw how grand and nice it was and since then I've been obsessed with hopefully with getting my own house with that feature. Rick's answer- Done! Seriously folks, if you're ever thinking of moving to the Central Valley, Rick is your man. I almost forgot to mention, he is amazingly thoughtful as well. Bought balloons and champagne to welcome us to our new home and still (even after the sale!) continues to make himself available so that we can be as comfortable as ever with our new place. Anyway, you get the drift, don't sleep on this guy's Yelp reviews (a lot of good ones are hidden by the app and website, why??), that's where I found him and took a chance. God is good! He puts the right people, at the right time in the right places in our lives. I shall end this here. I heard they paid off my home inspector to not mention the major issues of my house when I first bought. If I could of filed a lawsuit I would have. I originally bought my house for $120,000, now after being here for over 10 years and constant repairs I am told over and over by construction workers "who fixed this house?" , "who put this together" "everything is built wrong". It's like putting lipstick on a pig. They poorly, cheaply and incorrectly "fixed" this house up to sell. When I tried to refinance my house this company wouldn't return any of my mortgage companies phone calls and the mortgage company wanted to take them to court for being suspicious and irresponsible for returning calls and avoided providing documents. Fortunately my house is more than doubled in value this year due to the location, so major come up. Karma I would say!

If I could give them a 10 stars out of 5 stars, I would. As first time homebuyers, my fiancé and I couldn't have asked for a better team. They were so patient with us, every step of the way. They stood out from the rest of those in their fields through open and consistent communication. I don't like guessing what's on people's minds and I don't like getting the run around when I have questions. Never during the search for our home did I find myself feeling in the dark. When uncertainty presented itself, I felt Shaun's support which made the biggest difference in this new chapter of our lives. He really did look out for our best interest. Finding our dream home was very bumpy. Several unfortunate events took place that were outside of our control. When we started this journey, we came across what a property we really liked, and guess what? We got it! We were beyond excited. However, then came great difficulties involving the HOA and the seller's agent that led to us cancelling the transaction. At that point, my fiancé and I were devastated because we had already made payments towards that transaction. Shaun's team worked diligently to get back our deposit and what we had invested on the inspections. It was an uphill battle, but in the end we got all our money back.
