The classes were small with a wide range of experience, but somehow, everyone gets accommodated and feels welcome. Linda is the heart and soul of the center; she welcomed us in and made me feel like I could actually learn some tai chi despite my incredible klutziness. In fact, she takes human biomechanics to an entirely different level. Her body of knowledge is unreal and I trust her entirely to asses what is going on in my body and understand how to correct the myriad of imbalances I've earned over the years. She is all of the practitioners I mentioned plus some I have not all rolled into one. Not only is she incredibly knowledgable she has an uncanny ability to explain concepts to her clients...and if we can't "get it" with one explanation or analogy she will try another avenue to make sure we understand. The kids really want to work for him, but if they mess around in class, they're off to do a few pushups in the corner. He teaches TKD for all levels, as well as kickboxing. He does a morning workout class for ladies only, too. I can't comment on that, as my old worn out knee wouldn't stand for it, but it's become really popular with the 20 and 30-something moms. Reasonable price, reasonable contract (you don't have to give up your life savings or your first born in the contract). He also offers a military discount, which is a plus around here.
