Yourik, the owner, came highly recommened, not to mention on opposite coasts. We wanted the best of the best and went to Los Angeles for our Engagement session to see for ourselves! So cliche, but seeing is really believing! Prior to our arrangement, I spoke with Yourik multiple times in great detail, it was the first time we had a photo shoot, and prior to our meeting we were a little nervous which is a given in this situation. However, when we met Yourik, Gevik, and Hamlet our chemistry was undeniahble and they are extremely talented. We planned to do multiple settings and themes, but there are only so many hours in a day. We had two days of photography and videography in multiple popular and secluded areas of Los Angeles! It was a blast, and could not stop laughing and smiling throughout the experience. With this preview, we couldn't wait till May! Some couples think engagement shoots are a waste of time and has no use at all. Well, think twice, you will regret it later. Also, we can't emphasize more on the importance of 'letting go' during the shoot. They were all great and really helped eliminate our timidity in front of the camera , and we were able to see each persons various photography and videography styles. When Yourik, Gevik, and Hamelt arrived in DC, they provided our engagement photo album and all of our images captured. The album was so beautiful and professional incorporating different photographs including many silhouette, candid and glamorous moments, we felt like we were in California again. All three combined various styles including cinematic, traditional, artistic, and Indigenous/ beach. We love the beach and would travel any opportunity we had, so it was like deja vu, they took us back 10 years to memory lane and brought our story alive through their photos, drone, and many candid photos, which is a very difficult task! The Album- we were all speechless when we saw our album; being that we had spread out the shoot two days incorporating different settings, time, and location, the pictures we were presented had iconic places as backdrops and were very surreal. They took creativity to a whole nother level which added glamour and sophistication ! For our wedding, Yourik and his team arrived at our bridal suite capturing various things including the beautiful romantic room our Planner Shamci and Youriks team created of my dress , my husband and his groomsmen getting ready, bridemaids and me getting ready, and dancing leading up to getting this party started. We proceeded to the Armenian Church to make it official where they captured so many beautiful images of the ceremony, guests, and family pictures. Following the Armenian ceremony, we returned back to the hotel to continues with the traditional sitting of the Persian Sofreh Aghad and reception. They were constantly by our side moving and captured EVERYTHING from all the tears, dancing and energy till the early morning hours! We were so pleased with our pictures and can't wait to see our video! My family and I can't thank them enough for capturing the priceless images and memories that they did! Keep calm and let go when you have Yourik, Hamlet, and Gevik! Here's the long version of why Sean is amazing. 1. Cost Anyone who has even remotely started their wedding planning knows that most vendors will sell you hard to buy little extras or upgrade to a more expensive package. Sean is the antithesis of a pressure salesman. The entire first conversation we had with him hinged around our vision for the wedding photography. Then he pulled out a price list, we picked a package, and that was that. Did I mention that his prices are EXTREMELY reasonable? I know this because I compared his services (which are clearly listed with pricing info on his website) to like seven other photographers. Yeah, I did my homework...you are not going to find a better photographer, especially at his prices! 2. Photo Quality I was initially attracted to Sean's work because it was, well, awesome. When I looked through his portfolio, I felt like I was flipping through an issue of Brides magazine. Every girl wants to look like a model on her wedding day. Sean did not let me down, lol. I got a mix of candid and semi-posed shots (what we wanted) that were absolutely stunning. 3. Professionalism In addition to our wedding coordinator, Sean was our rock on our wedding day. He helped us stay on schedule, found our best angles, kept me sane... Also, after the wedding, Sean gets you your photos as fast as he can. We got ours on DVD approximately 2 weeks later. Almost all the other photographers I interviewed had lead times in months, not weeks. I HIGHLY recommend Sean. He gets busy in the summer to early autumn, so contact him well in advance. We're both pretty shy people, but Sean quickly put us at ease and we really enjoyed the sessions. Now we'd like to take family photos each year. Sean is professional, prompt, and has a great eye. He was responsive to email and quick to answer any questions. And, he was flexible with special requests, like our photo location and desire for specific poses. He provided a great variety of images, including various backgrounds, poses, and effects (black & white, different saturations, etc). During the wedding, he was incredibly organized and did a great job of making sure we got the photos we wanted. And, like the other reviews say, he was like a fly on the wall (completely non-intrusive) during the ceremony and reception. We were also pleased with the photo slide show he composed for our reception. In addition to including our childhood photos, he provided a great choice of music and theme. When we received our final wedding photo DVD, we held a screening party with our parents. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the results. There was a mix of fun photos, candids, formal family, and artistic shots (my sister said that one segment reminded her of a Chanel add!). We would definitely 100% recommend Sean to a friend.
