After 8 months, I am extremely disappointed with both my experience and my results. I had a breast lift with implants, and I am unhappy with the results of both. My biggest concern was my left breast. I had the same problem after a previous surgery, with the breast extending toward my left armpit. I specifically told the doctor I did NOT want this to happen again. He reassured me that the implant would not go toward my armpit and told me not to worry. Unfortunately, after surgery, I have the same problem again. This is extremely upsetting because this was something I specifically discussed with him and was promised would not happen. I was also told during my consultation that I would not need a drain for my tummy tuck. On the day of surgery, I was told I would have one. After the tummy tuck, I also developed small dog ears at the ends of the incision, which I am unhappy with. I am also unhappy with my tummy tuck and liposuction results. The right side of my abdomen does not match the left side, and the liposuction on my back near my right buttock left what looks like a large indentation. I am also unhappy with the results of the fat transfer under my eyes. What has been especially disappointing is the lack of access to the doctor after surgery. When I asked to see him about my concerns, I was made to wait in the room for more than an hour and a half. When I finally saw him and tried to ask questions about my results and concerns, he walked out while I was speaking. I felt completely disrespected and ignored. I paid a significant amount of money for these procedures, and after 8 months I am still very unhappy. I trusted this doctor based on what I was told before surgery, but my experience and results have been completely different from what I expected. My experience has been extremely disappointing.

Dr. Checcone's staff was very polite, efficient, and attentive. Dr. Checcone evaluated the opening during a consult and then performed the surgery the next day. He is a talented plastic surgeon who did an outstanding job. He took a round hole and turned it into a longer scar which he moved closer to my jaw line so that it would appear more natural. It has healed very well and people who have seen the before and after can't believe it. He even managed to save my beard by ensuring the scar didn't interfere too much with the natural hair growth! Additionally, with rare exception, the receptionist are uncaring and ignore you until they get done with what they are doing. A simple "I'm sorry, I will be right with you" would work. My opinion, if it were my practice, two thirds of the office personnel would be looking for jobs. You get a 3 only because the doctors and nurses are so good. If tis rating were solely based on the office personnel.........do you have a "zero" score?
