I've ate there on multiple occasions and each time the food has been very good. The chicken stir fry is the best I've ever had.

Good food, good service. Wish there were more options. Love the hot and sour soup. Love the Kung pao!

Mark Pi's chicken on white rice has been my favorite for over 15 years. I love this stuff and get it everytime I am in Lima. Yum!

I'm not sure how you can have such overcooked food that's still cold and soggy. They also just have no taste but I kept trying. No more after this. I'd be more understanding if I went at an off time but I spent 20 minutes waiting in a line to get my food because it was so busy. I've never been to a Panda Express and have heard good things about them from people in other areas. This location has some negative reviews so I wasn't sure if I should chance it. I was in Lima picking up dinner for my daughter and decided to try it. I really liked being able to order from the app. It worked great and was easy to navigate. There were several things I wanted to try so I ordered the big plate. I got chow mein, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp and super greens. I also ordered a side of fried rice and a large order of cream cheese wontons. I live about 40 minutes from the restaurant so I knew I wouldn't be eating it fresh. I ate the wontons in the car. I really liked that a large order is definitely a large order. And, for those who can't eat crab, it's nice that they're meat free. I enjoyed them! I paid extra for the premium honey walnut shrimp. It was good but I won't do it again. I paid extra for a tablespoon of food. Really? The chow mein, fried rice and orange chicken were delicious! I have enough food for a couple more meals. I ended up eating about two hours after picking it up and it was still delicious, even cold. I'll definitely be back!

China Buffet has quite a few really negative reviews and I am not sure why that is. If you are a…read moreperson who frequents buffets like China Buffet, you should know what to expect. The food isn't Michelin stared by any means, but usually, it isn't bad. If you have eaten at China Buffet and expected a fine dining experience, you were in the wrong place. China Buffet is your typical asian style buffet. Lots of booths and tables in sectioned off areas, two to three (sometimes more) steam tables to keep the food hot, and the typical red, green, and gold color scheme I've come to expect. You can't forget about the tchotchkes that are available for sale at the register! The funny thing is I sometimes get the feeling of being back in China when I walk in to some buffets here in the U.S.. I've been in several restaurants in China that have a similar vibe and feeling. China Buffet in Lima is clean-ish. It does show its age, but it isn't filthy. The staff is very nice and friendly, and they do speak English for those reviews that said they don't. In fact, they speak better English than may Chinese buffets I have been to. The buffet has many of the food options you expect to see on a buffet. Rice, fried rice, lo mein noodles, rice noodles, pepper steak, General Tso's chicken, honey chicken, green beans, egg rolls, sweet & sour chicken, etc., etc., etc.. The food was hot, tasted good, and varied in selection. The food was fresh, and was replenished on a regular basis. All in all, I enjoyed my lunch at China Buffet. If you go to China Buffet expecting world-class food options, staff in penguin attire, and perfect American English, then maybe China Buffet isn't the place for you. Wendy's and McDonalds are just down the street. However, if you are a veteran of Chinese buffets, and can take the good with the not so good, then give China Buffet a try. You may not care for everything but I am sure you will find something to your liking.
