    Key lime pie

What a beautiful place! It feels like you are at the paradise! As you walk into the restaurant, you can see the blue ocean. The tables are nicely placed and there were plenty trees to make shades. The service can be a bit slow but I didn't mind since I was enjoying the nice bleeze. I ordered the ceviche and key lime pie. Key lime pie had a nice tartiness and not so sweet crust matched well. The ceviche was delicious as well. I highly recommend for you to check this place!

I cannot say enough great things about this place!! The absolute best place to watch the sunset in the keys! Live music! And fabulous food and service! The coconut shrimp is our favorite in all of Florida The Hog Fish is incredible! Will return soon!

Second visit here, we are staying in Marathon, but I wanted to visit again this year, so hubby agreed to the 40 miles each drive. We shared rock shrimp tempura, delicious and generous. I had hoggish, hubby had grouper, we both added the key lime Tabasco butter - OMG - that stuff is like crack!!!!!! Fish was cooked perfectly. Tried to weedle the recipe out of our exceptional bar tender. First time hubby had the sauce and now he is a true believer too! Can't wait to come back again. Please bottle that sauce so I can take it home with me.

Food is great, staff is friendly but service is slow. Drinks are strong. View is outstanding, live music was fun. Recommend .

    A great dinner at sunset

We hit a ton of restaurants during our week at Islamorada. Marker 88 was one of our favorites. A bit more upscale than most of them but worth it. They have a wonderful menu and a great chef and probably the best Keylime pie that we've had here and we had it every night. We liked it here so much. We came back a couple days later in the afternoon just to drink beers and have a Keylime pie. The location is amazing ,beautiful sunsets right on the water, entertainment ,and a very aesthetically pleasing restaurant. I would definitely put this place on my list if I was going to Islamorada. I know I will be back.

Beautiful restaurant and views on the Gulf side. The menu is diverse yet has all the keys staples. Recommend the Curry with Snapper, it is excellent. Service is cheerful and attentive. We love this restaurant, a favorite and must stop in the upper keys.

Food was fresh and great, the place was very conducive to a relaxing and good time and the service was good too! Don't listen to the other reviewers. It is not cheap but it's worth it!

The place has been renovated and expanded. The view of the sunset is amazing and outdoor tables are all well set. The service staff were very nice and attentive, they helped on menu recommendations. We ordered some appetizers and drinks while waiting for the sunset, the rocka shrimp and guacamole was great but the sushi not really. As for beers and cocktails they have options. Preferably reserve a table but you can also go as a walk-in, honestly the view can be enjoyed from all angles.

Great location and setting, thats about as good as it gets. Service was slooooooow, waitstaff not attentive to their tables. Price and value did not compute. For an average $50 dinner having overcooked fish (3 dinners) is not what is expected. We were over charged on the drinks from the menu price, at that they were watered down. I was disappointed because the setting was so incredible I wanted the entire experience to match.

We had a great time here. Love the atmosphere. It feels like a resort. I started to wonder which way it was to our room. Alas, we drove. The Key Lime Seafood is excellent. They even have Coors Banquet! My favorite. This could become a regular place for us.

Amazing place, so glad we stopped! Drinks, food, service, ambiance and view - LOVE! I had a Key Lime Mojito, Lobster Pesto Flatbread and Key Lime Pie. All were delicious. Pizza didn't have a lot of lobster on it, but the flavor was delicious. Pizza was large enough to share. I also tried my friend's Tomato & Burrata salad that was great. As we were leaving live music was starting which sounded awesome. I could have stayed all day/evening enjoying the view and music while eating & drinking

First I would like to mention that their key lime pie is up there with Mrs Macs for being the best in the upper keys. Like zest throughout and homemade whip cream with extra toasty crust. Served very chilled and custard, very comparable to the restaurant Mrs Mac. Ordered the jerk chicken fajita with fantastic roti. The cilantro chutney and rice was nicely done. The mahi club was a huge piece of fish with crispy well done fries. The kiwi gin smash was great with fresh kiwi and mint muddled into it. Service was good and personable, letting us know all the things she's liked on the menu. The ambiance was beachy and calm. Nothing too busy and the weather was nice and breezy.

This place was ok at best, the view is absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is so pretty specially at sunset but the service was not good and there's also a lot of bugs around a flying all over. The food was okay, the coconut shrimp was good and the crispy rice was ok , nothing groundbreaking. I also had the ceviche and again it was OK I've had plenty of better ceviche. I was so underwhelmed I did not stay for dessert. The drinks were yummy , I highly recommend the coconut margarita.

We only stopped for a drink and appetizer, but next time will come for more. The vibe is darling and their crab dip was excellent.

I got sooo many recommendations to go here, I had to with my wife for our 24th Wedding Anniversary…read more I'm giving this place 5 stars overall even though I had 1 major disappointment-the miserable young woman hostess who made us feel like we were bothering her by wanting to go into the restaurant. No smile, No congeniality, Little eye contact, Did Not listen and I had to repeat myself. The reception we received would have made us turn around and go somewhere else, if I hadn't had so many recommendations. OK, now the reasons why I have given them 5 stars. We were quoted a 45 minute wait (about 7:30pm on Tuesday night) but luckily some bar stools opened up AS SOON as we walked in and so we sat at the bar (they offered their full menu), and Fernando, who was EXTREMELY busy, greeted us with a smile and very pleasant demeanor. He prepared our drinks, which were delicious. Right next to him and working the 'Service Bar' was the Manager on Duty: Lauren. She was very pleasant and engaged with us whenever she had the opportunity. She even helped us with menu suggestions, unfortunately, we spoke about one of their nightly specials, the Shrimp Piccata with Gnocchi, but they were sold out when we tried to order it with Fern. So we had a great experience at the bar, and here's the food review; -Fried Whole Yellowtail. Delicious! Presented like a picture and cooked perfectly! Loved the sauce, Pico, Jasmine Rice & Fried tostones. -Citrus/Beet Salad with Whipped Goat Cheese, Quinoa, Nuts, Arugula tossed in a light vinaigrette. All I can say: "Empty Plate Club"...DELICIOUS!! -Now the BEST plate: PEI Mussels. THIS WAS THE BEST PREPARATION OF MUSSELS-I HAVE EVER HAD! The mussels were fresh but the sauce was a "Mic Drop"!!! I split the mussel shell in half, and scooped the mussel shell into the AMAZING sauce and ate it like I was slurping a fresh oyster! After the mussels were finished I ate the rest of the sauce WITH A FORK!!! The sauce was delicious, thick, with garlic and hot spice. I attacked the plate and forgot to take a picture...sorry! We ended our meal with a tasty piece of delicious Key Lime Pie. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND RECOMMEND AND WILL COME BACK!!! Lauren, great job, the place ran clean, efficient and professional!

This was our second visit to this restaurant, two months apart. Our experience was like night and…read moreday. Last time, JD was our waiter and he was attentive and friendly. This time, we don't know the waiter's name because he never introduced himself. We waited 20 minutes for just water, and another 15 minutes for our cocktails. The (unnamed) waiter brought champagne to the next table and poured two rounds while popping by our table and saying "we're going to have your drinks soon, they're really busy at the bar". We saw several waitstaff bringing bar drinks past our table. When we finally got our food, our waiter stopped to ask if everything was ok. We asked for more napkins, but he darted away without hearing. 20 minutes later, he stopped by again and we asked for napkins, and he said he'd be right back with them. He never came back with them. There was a manager (I think?) walking through. He refilled our water (empty for several minutes), and brought us the napkins we'd asked for twice before. Asked if we needed anything else, very attentive. But when our waiter came back (without napkins), we just asked for the check. He stood around waiting for us to pay, didn't ask if we wanted a box or dessert or anything. The food was delicious, but this was the worst service we received in the keys. Kudos to the manager walking around tending to tables, because our server literally didn't care.
