[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is quite small and the temperature outside was too hot for us to sit outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We managed to find seating inside at one of the four tables around 6:30 p.m.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered entrees and a soda. While the servers were friendly, they didn't offer us refills. The shrimp and grits were delicious - creamy and warm. The shrimp itself didn't have much flavor, but the sauce complemented it well. It was a satisfying meal, especially after a day out on the water. My dining companion, however, found the bang bang shrimp basket to be just "ok." Parking is limited, and if you use one of the massage parlor's spaces, they'll come out and ask you to move. Apparently, they offer massages into the evening. read more

The shrimp was excellent. A couple of us had the baskets and I had the po'boy. All great!! Two of us had the fish (basket and tacos). Unfortunately that wasn't as good. I am sure the rest of their food is great but the point of my visit was to try the shrimp basket and to see if it was worth the hype. The shrimp is that good, had mine with fries and the had coleslaw with hers. The breading is more like a dusting really which is key here because it lets the flavor and sweetness of the shrimp shine. Served with a small plastic cup of cocktail sauce which provides a nice addition to the shrimp. Service was good and friendly. JP took such great care of us! I saw a photo of his brother on here and thought it was him! He looks just like his brother and I had to do a matching photo to post on here! He gave us a cool sticker and a stamp card. It was such a a nice surprise when he gave us 10% off our check just for being locals! The tuna in my bowl was great, so fresh and I like the tortilla surrounding it. I wished the rice a tad bit fluffier and not stuck to eat other and if it came with some lines on the side so I can squeeze some juice on top I did come in to try the smoked fish dip that I saw for happy hour a few months ago but that was gone and they didn't have the base for the crab soup It was a simple kinda cluttered keys style setting. This place is AMAZING!!!!! I never eat fried foods as most is shared with a fryer that isn't dedicated to GF. They used a light dusting of GF flour and fry in a dedicated fryer so you can get sweet potato fries or regular. The service was wonderful. We started with the conch fritters that were delicious, and the sauce spicy and perfect pair. Just gotta update! A bit of a change: a man waits on you at the table vs counter order. We sat outside on a beautiful early Friday evening. We had coconut shrimp & fish dip for appetizers & WOW! Fish dip was outstanding! Smoky mahi mahi! The coconut shrimp was good but not as tasty as their lightly breaded shrimp! We ordered a bucket to share with the most delicious Brussels sprouts & tasty coleslaw! Coleslaw did not have raisins this year!
