Great service and great food, a necessary stop in islamorada ! Make sure you swing by and try all any seafood item, you won't be disappointed.

We had heard about this place while were in town and found out it was a good place to get clam strips (my husband was craving some). When we got there, we also learned that Guy Fieri had visited there so that definitely gave it more value too! I had seen on the menu that they had She Crab Soup and it was a chilly morning (for this Florida girl) and it was the perfect choice. I really enjoyed it! I also added a Grilled Cheese to it and it was really good! Our server was a very nice young man. We were the only ones in there so it was pretty quiet, but there's nothing wrong with that. Overall, it was a good little lunch spot.

Fried shrimp basket with pina colada batter + Islamorada Ale

Omg the shrimp here was amazing! Great selection of beer too. Islamorada Ale was awesome!! I got the shrimp basket fried in piña colada batter, which gave it an awesome coconut flavor. It came with a side of my choice, so I went with the mac n' cheese. Definitely not healthy, but honestly such a great dinner. My husband had the shrimp and grits, which were packed with amazing flavor. The ambiance was laid-back and chill, which was perfect after a long day. Lots of great food options too! The servers were so sweet and attentive. You could tell they had great teamwork and were all helping each other. Overall, it's such a fun spot with yummy food, and the prices were reasonable. Already dreaming about the fried shrimp!!! We also ordered the key lime pie with chocolate to go, and we're excited to enjoy it as a snack later!

So good!!! Our bellies are so happy we stopped! The waiter was very chill and we didn't feel rushed at all. Must try... shrimp and grits! The fish sandwich was HUGE!!!!

Food was amazing. We brought our own yellowtail snapper. There four of us. We had trouble deciding on the style of fish and sides. There SO MANY choices. Ended up choosing Senator, Continental and Coconut Fried. All were great. No one was disappointed with their choices. Nice selection drinks and beer. Service was Great. Katie did an epic job.

Sweet surprise! My husband and I ate lunch today at The Shrimp Shake; our first time, and will not be our last! Great food, service and hometown beach ambiance! Loved it! I loved being allowed to draw on the table as well!

This was a definite return to for great seafood , service was fantastic. Good beer & drink selection . They'll even cook your fish you bring In & they don't up charge for paying with a credit card. We also had the appetizer sampler platter , forgot pic , so good with Gator, conch , shrimp fritters & shack shrimp , shack being their Specialty

Shrimp shack was a good lunch spot, not the greatest. She crab soup didn't taste like much. Grilled cheese addition was very good. Shrimp fritters were delicious. Shrimp basket with the coconut and pineapple was very good. Liked my plate too which was the shrimp over yellow rice. Rice was watery but still good service was amazing. It was a bit hot inside, but only towards the end

This place has become famous partly due to the fact that in December 2015 they were discovered by Guy Fieri. The episode is called, ""Smoke and Seafood." I have not seen the episode but the other people I was with at the time were excited to be there. The place is casual with super friendly service. The drinks are generous--at least the Arnold Palmer was! The GATOR BITES - FLORIDA ALLIGATOR, CAJUN FRIED WITH REMOULADE are worth a try. The "famous" SHRIMP FRITTERS were just okay. The real hit for me was the Fish sandwich. Grouper - blackened. Lettuce, tomato, and spicy mayo. Wow! Yes, there was an upcharge for the grouper, but this was the best version of a blackened grouper sandwich I have experienced thus far while staying in the area. So, fan of triple D or not, this place is certainly worth a visit. The food is great as is the service. Plus, you can feel at home here too with the casual atmosphere.

Coconut encrusted fish sandwich without bread.

We had a delicious seafood meal here! I ordered the Coconut encrusted fried fish (mahi) with Aloha Pina colada sauce topped with swiss cheese and veggie side which was fantastic!! The combination of flavors was so good!! It is a sandwich but I had it without bread. Totally coming back here again. The menu is massive and prices very inexpensive!! $16 for mine

    Shrimp po'boy with cheesy grits

Food was amazing! They bring you mini warm rolls with whipped butter--not sure if the rolls or the butter was slightly sweet, but it was lovely--and a mini banana bread which includes walnuts and coconut in it. We had the Goombay Punch and Guava Mojito, both were sweet and excellent. My partner had the cracked conch appetizer, and the shrimp po'boy with a side of cheesy grits. He loved all of it. I had the chicken continental with a side of mac and cheese. Divine, divine. So good. We were both super disappointed we couldn't finish everything--so full!--and couldn't take the leftovers to go because we're on a road trip. This place is small and very busy because the food is so good!! So be patient when you come. They're super nice people working here but they're running to keep up, so give them a little grace. We want them to keep doing what they're doing!! Highly recommend.

Merida was an awesome server with a terrific personality. We had a slight wait for a table at 7 on a Saturday night. The shrimp fritters and remoulade were delicious and full of flavor. The boys got baby back ribs which they devoured. Cole slaw was bland but fries were perfectly cooked. My friend ordered shrimp and grits which she loved. I got the Fish Continental style and could not believe how large the portion size was. The nice size pieces of fish with a panko crust. I'm not sure what the fish was. It wasn't tender and flaky but it was good with no fish taste. The she crab soup in my opinion was too watery and lacking in crab. I would definitely come back and try other menu items.

I did order a Caesar salad salad, and the dressing tasted like somebody edited ranch dressing. There was no anchovy flavor. The servers are nice, the prices aren't bad, and there is plenty of parking if you don't go on the weekend. The view is nice as well. Other than that, I really don't know if I would eat here again.
