The quality of some their store brands are below average . Start with a bag of Empire apples last fall . New harvest came in weeks before but the apples were like mush , same for a big jar of manzanilla olives . Cheese that melted in my fridge ( 37% ) , broccoli that is wilted about 1/2 the time , no more 2lb baby carrots , bananas over ripe often , Activia vanilla yogurt that was a month past expiration , 2 large cans of Price Chopper coffee that was incredibly weak ( I tested my coffee maker with a national brand and it was fine . Green beans in a bag and cut butternut squash got moldy days before expiration same thing with salad mix. I already stopped buying alcohol and deli there years ago . Great grocery store, felt like a mix of Stop and Shop and Whole Foods. Lots of choices, had alcohol in store. Would visit here again.

Clean store with friendly employees in a good location. Store appeared "roomy" and wide open which made it pleasant to shop. Prices on most items were competitive. read more

I have shopped here for years, they just started an app with a QR code coupons. They never seem to work right, ever! I have had customer service try to help me, and both of us give up! I hate their surveys! I want to respond but must enter your card number, well F, yeah you mean that plastic piece that dies in my wallet after two weeks. I work for a living, not a princess! Of course the QR code is for a different product than the one listed on their app. After living in CA, Westwood, Marina del Rey, Santa Monica and Irvine, where the Internet is not a new thing, where apps have been around forever. Used to grab lunch here (everyday); service has become ATROCIOUS!! Wait wait wait... for one guy to do all the servicing of customers while 2 others sit out back pretending to be busy (during lunch time). We brake at 11, they start serving lunch at 1030; HOWEVER, there is no food available until 1140 on some days!!! This turns our 30 min lunch break into 25 mins of HELL followed by 4 mins of shoving food down fast to be able to make work. ALL DONE WITH THIS PLACE!!! read more

The store is convenient on my drive home and admittedly, prices are better at Price Chopper versus at Stop & Shop or at Big Y. The two star rating is simply because of the lack of good service from staff. There are a number of cashiers who are very pleasant, Doris in particular. However, I've seen too many occasions where the shift managers or supervisors are the least personable and the most apathetic of many establishments. At one recent visit, when I had only 3 items to purchase, a manager was closing her drawer as I approached her register she would not even acknowledge my waiting for service. As I sought her attention, she simply grunted that I needed to wait for another cashier. And as for their offer to assist shoppers with groceries out to the car, it is a half hearted, disingenuous attempt at service, at best. The offer is made and it is obvious that they do not expect customers to say yes because when you do, good luck getting someone to actually come over and assist you. I believe they truly wait to the point where you just give up and take your own groceries out when in fact you may have really needed their help. When management's behavior is poor at customer service, how can it be expected that staff do their jobs well? It may be time for me to pass on the convenience and better price and simply head to stop and shop further up the road. read more

The people who work here are the nicest folks you'd ever want to meet. Whatever the situation, they go the extra mile for you, which is why I shop here. Two of my favorite items are the whole grain Chabaco ciabatta, and the PEI mussels, which are tender, and sweet - six bucks for two pounds. read more

The store itself is a 4 rating but the understaffing at the deli is always annoying so I go to BJS for deli now. Less expensive and same wait time with 2 employees instead of one. At PC they really make an effort to ignore you at that deli. Sad. read more

Absolutely love this store...when you are shopping here it feels like your at home. The workers are very helpful at telling you where things are located, and every department is always very clean and neatly organized. It is always a pleasure shopping at Market 32. read more

This is my normal Price Chopper that I shop at and normally no issues. Today however the deli department really let me down. One worker waiting on customers , 2 others behind the scenes doing other work I guess but it looked more like social hour to me You would think they would come wait on the 3 other people waiting for deli meat but no they continued their "work". I got very frustrated watching one worker slicing meat for the standing customers I had to leave. I don't get it. This department needs to be trained in customer service in my opinion. On a good note (hence the 3 stars instead of one) the man stocking the wine couldn't have been more nice and helpful. This is the second visit we encountered him and he was just as nice then. I wish I knew his name so I could single him out to his boss. Maybe he should transfer to the deli. read more

This Price Chopper is brand spanking new. It's not as big as the Price Chopper on Hubbard Ave in PIttsfield, so of course the selection is smaller as a result. They still have a pretty decent prepared foods section, and some of the desserts there are different from what they have at the bakery at the Hubbard Ave location. They even had free samples of a strawberry cake to try! Yum. The layout of the store is easy to navigate and the employees are friendly and helpful for the most part. read more
