Although they'd be closing for the holiday in just a few hours and were busily fulfilling final holiday orders when I arrived, the staff on-hand were graciously helpful and put together something very nice. In May 2020 I made the mistake of ordering flowers for Mother's Day from an online floral retail site that misrepresented itself as a local, family run business. My mom never got the flowers I'd ordered for her, and so the day after Mother's Day, I phoned Plattsburgh Flower Market, which at that time was operating according to COVID-19 shelter-in-place rules. Once again, the staff member I spoke with was very helpful, and put together a beautiful arrangement that was delivered to my mom within two hours of placing the order. Stellar service. I won't make the mistake of relying on an online retailer again - it's worth it to call Plattsburgh Flower Market to get first-rate quality and customer service, not to mention beautiful flowers.

Their prices are higher than price chopper and target, but you're paying for a local and unique bundles of bouquets. Only the best for Mom! Right?! I went to pick it up the next day, and when I arrived, I was asked if I wanted it wrapped. I said I wasn't sure, and the person who was helping me said, "Oh it doesn't need to be wrapped, it'll travel fine." I said, I'll be holding it on my lap, is that ok? She assured me it would be. Less than 5 minutes later, going less than 30 mph, with the basket flat, the basket dropped half a gallon of water one me. It soaked through my coat, skirt, and (tmi, I'm sorry), my underwear. That's how much water poured out of the bottom of this basket. So, I am more than an hour from home, and have less than half an hour to make it to the service on time. I looked like I had walked into the lake up to my waist, and now had to attend a funeral. Why a flower basket had a half a gallon of water in it, I do not know, but do not advise someone that it's ok to hold it on your lap, and maybe wrap it up.... Also, my seat is still sodden 7 hours later...... Can't wait for the eventual mold smell. I'll be going elsewhere in future.

When…read moreI went to pay at the front desk a lady employee saw the price of the plant I was purchasing and removed the price tag from the plant. She then went to the back to relabel the plant. I explained that I didn't think that was fair and that usually when this happens stores honor the price at which it was originally labeled. The response I received was, "I understand " but there was no plan to honor the original label. I left the store without the plant and will likely never go back. The difference in price was around 15$. At this point they didn't deserve my money and should understand that I can buy that plant anywhere. They lost out on that purchase as well as a life customer all for price of 15$. I hope it was worth it and that you now, you understand.
