We hired Danny to patch and paint the interior of our home while we were out of town. We removed all photos and items hanging on the walls and gave him a key. When we returned a few days later we were shocked to see the state of things: - Broken fixtures including the shower rods and grommets carelessly tossed in the tubs - Empty beer cans hidden in cabinets - Unflushed feces in the toilet, complete with "splatter" on the seat - Drops of paint all over the hardwood floors - Poor quality painting on the walls, old color showing through - Sloppy lines, paint had dripped on the trim and baseboards - Unpatched picture hanging holes in the drywall - Leftover fast food trash on the kitchen counter We called Danny and expressed our concerns. He made a bunch of excuses, refusing to accept any responsibility for the poor job performed and the absolute disregard for our home. We had to hire another company to come fix the paint job and house cleaners to come clean up the mess and scrape the paint drops off the floors. I had the pleasure of plunging the toilet and wiping dried feces off the toilet seat. It was a nightmare. I would not trust him to cut my lawn. He undercut his competitors pricing and now I see why. Periodically I see his "marketing" truck parked at a local gas station advertising his services. I cringe whenever I see it, wondering who else he is going to scam. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a contracted service. I am not a perfectionist and give lots of leeway to others. However, the job was shoddy...old paint showing through, spaces missed completely, drips on my baseboards, floors, furniture. Some celiings were not done, light fixtures were not removed, electric plates were not removed and had paint all over them. He told me my expectations were crazy when i vomplained. We had to repaint most of the house ourselves because we had paid him. Nothing was drop clothed or taped. Paint on my antique table where they sat a can while painting ruined the finish. I had my home painted by this company 2 months ago. The initial paint job was done well and I paid in full at that time. There was a punch list of 6 items to be finished. He has to date not finished the last two items! I have been given 8 different dates he was to come and fix the last two items and NONE of them were kept! Would not recommend. Painted our living room and entry way when we were out of town. Used our ladders, tools, and extension cord (which made its way to their van). Leaned a ladder against the fireplace ledge and left nicks in wood. Was so supposed to be painted and was not. Left trash in garage and backyard. Neighbor watching our house turned off hose one night, locked my back door 2 nights and threw out hotdogs left on my kitchen counter. We hired Market Ready Painting to paint the interior of our house. The crew was initially friendly and professional and we liked the work being done. We made them mistake of paying in full when the work was 90% finished since things had been good up until then. Well that was a huge mistake. The owner stopped responding to us and has left us with quite a few problems that we need to fix. He took advantage of us and should pay to have the rest of the work done. If you use this company do not pay upfront for any work done to your home. And inspect the work carefully. read more

I cannot recommend using Market Ready Painting as our experience with them turned into a nightmare. It started out better than we could have expected as they committed to painting our entire house with short notice and days before Christmas. While they were not the cheapest, they were not the most expensive either. The house was supposed to be painted with two coats of paint using Eggshell finish paint. The painting crew arrived at the home on time and completed the job in roughly one day as they had communicated. When we looked at the paint we could still see the previous paint color coming through paint and the paint used was a matte finish and not the Eggshell paint that we had picked out and paid for. There were also areas all throughout the home where the brush strokes were evident or areas had been missed. We contacted Market ready and notified them that only one coat had been put on and that the wrong paint had been used to paint the home. The paint crew came back out for a second time to repaint the entire house. Again the crew arrived on time in the morning to the start the job and completed everything in less than a day. This time however there were even more areas throughout the home that had been missed. Large sections above the cabinets, corners of the room or hallway, and areas around the sink and toilet still showed the previous paint color. Throughout the house there was paint on the trim and the baseboards. It was evident areas that had been missed because the wrong paint color had been used. Instead of the slightly lighter color that had been used for the first paint job, a darker version of our paint had been used, so every missed spot showed through that much more. Pictures of the errors were sent on more than one occasion to point out the items that needed to be addressed. After not receiving any corrective action to make the situation right, we were forced to repaint the house for a third time using a different company. This time the paint contractor used the right paint, taped off the entire house to ensure no paint would get on the trim, and sanded down all of the brush marks from the previous jobs to make sure we had a clean professional finish to our home. All of these actions should have been done in the first place to prevent this headache from happening. I would suggest looking in another direction if you are considering using Market Ready Painting based on our experience. read more
