I was recommended by Pasadena Honda. My wife's 2002 Toyota Highlander's right front bumper had a broken plastic tab and was hanging loose from the body. I arrived unannounced and was warmly greeted by Crystal. Crystal called over Dominick to take a look. Dominick then called over a worker, who with a washer and existing screw reattached the bumper. I had recently purchased a new car and unfortunately did some body damage to the passenger's side of the car. One of my friend's referred me to Markham and Boling and she raved about their great customer service. So, even though they were not a preferred provider with my new insurance company, I decided to use their services anyway. I only wish that my insurance company was as helpful as the guys at Markham and Boling. The actual body work on my car took much longer than expected because my insurance company required four follow-up visits with Markham and Boling. The guys at Markham and Boling knew that I was paying for my own rental while my car was in the shop, so they worked with the rental car company to get me a better deal. In addition, they followed up with me weekly to let me know the status of my repairs. They contacted me each time the insurance company required an additional visit to approve repairs and continued to update me on when my car would be finished. Additionally, I liked the fact that when I visited the collision center or called them, they always knew who I was and which car was mine. It is rare that you see that type of customer service these days! When my car was finally finished, it looked like it had just been driven off the sales lot! These guys know what they are doing-my car looked brand new! I was also pleased with the life-time warranty that I received for all the repairs made to my car. After picking up my car, I realized my spare remote/key was not working. So, I called Markham and Boling (in a panic) and they offered to make me an appointment with the dealership and even offered to provide me shuttle service! Well above the call of duty!! Adrian, Dominic, and Jeff were all very helpful! I worked really closely with Adrian and I thank him for always providing great customer service and for helping me to get a deal on my rental! He was always available to answer any of my questions and provided excellent customer service. They do top shelf, above and beyond, meticulous, Grade A+ work!! They're also super nice, super quick and stay in constant communication with constant updates. This might be some of the best customer service I have ever experienced- anywhere, this is Disneyland level of customer service! I am always a little nervous taking my car to a mechanic being a single lady- but from the get-go they treated me with professionalism and respect...and everyone smiles there- have you ever been to a car repair shop where people are smiling???!Good sign of people being treated fairly and liking their jobs- I certainly would rather have a happy mechanic working on my car than not! I was unfortunately in an accident where my car was hit from behind smacking my bumper of my new Honda suv pretty hard. I have no experience with dealing with insurance claims- but Adrian was so helpful, answered all questions I had along the way! He took care of everything! We have all been in the postion where YOU are calling the mechanic to see when your car will be finished right? Well, Markam Boling Collision Center has a really awesome system of keeping you informed of your car's progress along the way, I have never seen anything like this! I received emails every couple of days explaining what was being worked on and the expected date of completion.. Adrain also personally kept in touch with me via text and emaill! Talk about being kept in the loop! They even called my rental car place to have them come pick me up when I dropped my car off! When I got my car back it was SPOTLESS and looked prettier than the day I bought it! They also gave me a little bit of extra paint in case of small scratches in the future! I was struck by another motorist and needed to find a new place covered by their insurance. I chose this one based on the high review rate. It is well earned. They took my car that day, even though I did not call in advance to make an appointment (please do them that kindness though). The woman at the front desk is very sweet and friendly, as were all of the workers! They did a beautiful job fixing my car, kept me appraised of the repairs every step of the way, replaced SIX bulbs in my front headlight without charge which was not even part of the repair, and everything is fully warrantied. It looks *perfect*. They cleaned my vehicle. The pick up and drop off to my rental was smooth as glass. Just lovely people all the way around. I fully intend to use them again. read more

I had no idea how to handle my car situation and she walked me through everything step by step and made sure I understood everything. My car ended up being totaled but Crystal continued to help me through everything and educating me on the total loss process to make sure my insurance company is fair with me. Stopped by for a repair of my front bumper. They made an effort to help me right away. With in minutes everything was fixed. They reattached the bumper free of charge and even wiped away some scuffs with a special solvent. Friendly staff and great work. There's definitely a reason this place is packed and it takes a while to get an appointment. Everyone there is friendly and professional, and Crystal is so good at keeping you updated on your repairs. She calls you every step of the way to let you know if any additional damage was found or if there will be extra costs. My car repair is being paid for by insurance, and I needed a rental car while mine was in the shop. There was a slight issue with the insurance company failing to update my car rental terms, I think the insurance company lost some paperwork or something. I called Crystal, and asked if she could contact State Farm and let them know the repairs would take longer than we initially thought. She is a superstar, and called State Farm and cleared everything up for me within a few hours. My car is pretty dinged up and scratched up, and I really only wanted them to repair what the insurance would cover. They've been really respectful of that, which I really appreciate. Especially since some of the damage the insurance covers is in the same area as other dents and scratches which they wouldn't cover (it's an old car that was beat up pretty badly before the accident). read more

Although it took a while for them to repair my car it was not their fault the third-party insurance took their time in handling the claim. But Crystal was professional and amazing representative. Single best customer service experience ever!!!! (Sorry Peninsula Hotel-Beverly Hills, you have moved to 2nd best) I had used Markham years ago to repaint a damaged bumper on my Acura TL. I noticed that over time a small area of one side started to bubble. Then a chip the size of a quarter broke off from the bubble. I figured since this was years ago I was out of luck. I drove by Markham and told them my deal. A guy I think named Demetrio looked at the issue and took full responsibility and said they would fix it for free (mind you it was years ago and my bumper had many non-related scratches on it)! He said "we are very busy this week but I could fix it next week." Which was fine except I told him I was leaving town for good (I'm moving out of state) in three days. He said "Well then, we will just have to fix it before you go. Bring it first thing tomorrow AM and we will figure out how to get it done." What??? Wait. I pay no money and I just told you I am moving so I will not be a repeat customer. This issue that took place years before the new management took over. I was thinking "Are you sure?!?" Sure enough they finished it on time and it looked brand new (they even fixed the non-related scrapes). I told them I was amazed and said I would like to leave a cash tip for getting it done so fast. The would not accept it. I asked what was going on. They said that new management took over in February and their goal was to make the Markham Boling name as good as gold. And even though Gold prices have skyrocketed in this current economy, I say Mission Accomplished. P.S. I secretly want to ram into my friends cars so they will have a reason to work with these guys. read more

I am actually a repeat (3 peat) customer of Markham and Boling. The other two times I have been there were for damages incurred by someone else (outside of an insurance claim) and when part of a tree fell on my car. Both times, Markham and Boling repaired the damages perfectly and charged a very fair and reasonable price. No price gouging. They understood that someone other than the insurance company was footing the bill, so they were more than fair. This time, it was "me" who caused the damage...scraping my car against one of those yellow pylons. No body damage, but the white paint and scratches to my (9 month old) jet black car made me feel as though I was the one who got beat up and injured. With a naked eye, you could see the damage from a distance and it made my stomach drop every time I looked at it. From my past experience with Markham and Boling, I knew that they did excellent work so I drove my car over early in the morning for an estimate. Adrian took a look at the damage and said that he could get out the paint and scratches and make it presentable to about 60% and not have to paint the car. (Otherwise it would be a much larger job) I could live with a 60% fix, so I said "yes, let's do it". Adrian said it should not take very long, suggested I take a seat in their outdoor reception area and they will start working on it now. Now??!! It's not like this was a slow time for them. All of the car bays were full and there were guys working on the cars too. But to my surprise, they pulled out one of the cars from the bay, drove my car in and started working. In about 20 minutes, my car was done. The white paint was gone, the major scratches were gone and the only thing that you were able to see (when you got "very" close to the car) were the tiny areas where the paint was gone down to the metal. I was really happy and told Adrian that it looked great. I asked how much this cost and he said "Nothing". Nothing??!! Seriously??!! When does this sort of thing happen?? I was honestly ready to pay, so this came as a real surprise. Adrian said that it was not a big thing and they were able to do it, so there was no cost involved. This is my very first time posting on Yelp and I can truly say that Markham and Boling deserves the 5 stars plus some for their excellent customer service and great work. I HIGHLY recommend them. Seriously, this is the place to go if you're needing some work done on your car. After rear ending someone, I did not know where else to go so I just happened to chose this place. Adrian was my Go-TO guy for this whole process, and let me tell you -- I couldn't have had a better experience here. I had to deal with 6 weeks of insurance B.S. and this place fought the whole way through with me. After my insurance wouldn't pay pass the 30 day mark for my rental car - (note: the only reason it was delayed was because THEY would only send the inspector out once a week, or so) - and Markham footed the bill for the last potion. Even towards the end when their were issues with enterprise - Adrian and the team STILL fought every day to make sure I was okay. He took car of me, got me in a rental for the duration they had my vehicle. I got side swiped in my Honda Civic and they took care of it. I felt it was in good hands since they were located in the dealer. When I got my car back it looked like new! I came here , as recommended by my insurance, and based off the reviews. It lives up to the hype. Particularly, the woman leading the show in the office has helped me out tremendously- Crystal. I got into an accident that was not my fault, and was during a crazy time of my life. When it seemed like everything was going wrong on the insurance end- Crystal went out of her way to fight against the opposing insurance, as well as get me the best possible rates for rental cars (as I was paying out of pocket). Her professionalism and customer service was outstanding, even when I appeared irritated with the timing or money spent, she never faltered. I would highly recommend Markham Boling. I went to get estimates elsewhere, and I was not happy with the procedure of how they would repair my car's body damage and their attitude of how they are doing me a service that they really have little time for. I felt pushed to hurry up. It was not fun, it was frustrating. I had dents on my hood, front left fender, and damage on both front and rear bumpers that needed repair. When I went to Markham Boling, the people were genuinely interested in my car. Very meticulous about the damage and procedure needed for repair. They really take care of the customer, not just the car. The price was also very reasonable, and the quality of the work they did on my car was exceptional, to say the least. It was a big surprise, to see it look brand new again! I think the biggest attraction was the fact that they really have confidence in their work, and are enthusiastic about it; you will pick that up as you walk around. They informed me that their procedure steers away as much as possible from filler treatments on body dents, and that they put extra care into restoring your car using it's original metal and working on it carefully. So all I can say, is, from someone like me who had alot of work done on the Subaru, you are in the best hands if you have your car's body work done at Markham Boling. My VW beetle got hit on the rear bumper. I drove to another place for a estimated but received cold response. then we took it to markham boling and was warmly greeted. both Dominick and Jeff were very kind and explained to me what they would do to make my car as good as it should be. I feel I was treated with respect and honest so I dropped my car there. and several weeks later. I got it back with a brand new bumper cover and fenders. and I am sure they have also done repairs underneath them. They also fixed my squeezed rocker panel with a minimum cost to me. and the sweetest thing is Jeff offered to fix my out of placed front lamp for free. I tried so hard before to put it on when I replaced my old lamps but realized due to some crappy bodywork in the past it was impossible to get it aligned as it should be. and I never thought of anyone would fix it without ripping me off. Then, when I came back to hear that AAA had decided the car should be totaled, of course I asked this place to fix it on my dime. To my surprise, Dominick spent a long time convincing me that I should not fix a car that had been totaled out, and explained in detail how to get top dollar from the insurance company, and, when I mentioned having bought cars through people who shop at auctions for people, and how my favorite guy was not available any more, he even recommended someone for that! My honda was a lease from Diamond Honda and when I called, they referred me to Markham because that's who they send all their collision accidents too. I got in touch with Adrian and seriously, the nices and most helpful guy that I could ask for. He kept in contact with me through the whole process. It took almost 12 business days due to having to replace the back side panel and repaint. When i saw my car after all was said and done, it looked like new! I nearly tore off my front bumper when navigating out of my very skinny driveway. My Honda dealer recommend Markham Boling. They were so nice and since insurance wasn't going to cover this, they worked out the best pricing for me. A shuttle took to me a local rental car service and when it was time to pick up my car, they took me back. I am so happy! I have a brand new front bumper and the paint matches the car exactly.
