Excellent honey and sometimes they have their own beeswax candles as well. Definitely recommend checking this out.

"Honey Pie, you are making me crazy I'm in love, but I'm…read morelazy So, won't you please come home?" (Lennon & McCartney) A honey jam (among others) and a dozen pies are being cooked up from scratch inside this terrific cottage food kitchen in Wethersfield. In fact, I saw twenty-one jams on the menu today, ranging from sweet (Raspberry Honey and Blueberry) to savory (Shallot) to Hot (three Hot Peppers in a rising scale of Scovilles and a Habanero Apricot!). Now, don't let all those jams divert your attention from the Pie Menu, because you can choose among their nine pie selections in classic flavors featuring apples, cranberries, raspberries, pears, peaches, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries and more. We picked up four 4-ounce jars of jam today - Fig, Apple, Black Raspberry & Peach, and Habanero Apricot. The four-ounce jars run $6, and an eight-ounce jar runs $11. They were packaged in cute little canning jars with hand decorated labels and a colorfully decorated cloth square below the lid. The minute I saw Habanero Apricot Jam on their menu, well, my will power disappeared and that was the first jar in my cart. I enjoyed it on toasted bread for breakfast with some peanut butter. That Hab-Ap jam was unbelievable, what a great pairing of fiery "hot" and Apricot sweetness. Now, be forewarned that the Habanero packs quite a punch, but I can't see anyone ordering it unless they're into hot and spicy stuff. I have zero doubts that the other three jams will be just as tasty. Great job, Jam 'n Pie Co.!! I wish you continued success, and hope a few of my Yelp buddies give you a try.

The chef Ryan is so talented and passionate. The whole story as to how this started and how the team came together is so inspiring. The food was fantastic as was the drinks, ambiance and service. Follow them on socials-they do the farm dinners through October and then switch to cafes and coffee shops during the colder months. This meal was truly a highlight of 2026!

They also have other locally made products from around CT including milk, cheeses, honey, jams, maple syrup, pies, ice cream, plants, dog treats, and more! I got a bottle of Chocolate Milk from Hyde's Dairy Farm (located in Franklin, CT) and it was so chocolatey and delicious! The stand is open every day 9AM-6:30PM from Memorial Day through December 31st, and Tuesday-Sunday 10AM-5:30PM from January 2nd to Memorial Day. From November through May, their CT Handmade Gift Shop is open and filled with beautiful creations made by local artists throughout the state. When I went, there was one female employee working behind the counter who was very friendly. Make sure to stop by and check out Killam and Bassette Farmstead!
