I guess what I am saying is that I consider myself a cornnoisseur to add some context to this claim I am about to make. This stand has the best sweet corn around! Hands down!! It is always sweet and the kernels perfectly poppy on every single one. From week to week and year to year, they always have the best corn. Extra points for the consistency! The ears they put out are always nice. No need to do the half shuck to see if it's nasty or weird on the inside. They take a lot of pride in what they put out and it shows. I stopped in their farm bakery and was delighted with the offerings. They had pumpkin whoopie pies, frozen pies, soups, and more. The pumpkin whoopie pies were the best I've ever had. My husband agrees and he's a whoopie pie connoisseur. If you love farms, farm stands, and supporting local businesses, I highly recommend.

Their produce is very good quality and reasonably priced. They usually post their sales for the week in The Sunday Republican newspaper. This is one of my main sources of produce in the winter and spring months until our summer CSA kicks in. They also carry a small assortment of snacks and dairy items as well as local maple syrup and honey . Sometimes you can find produce that may not be in regular grocery stores. They had lots of tomato plants, peppers, cabbage, cukes and lettuce all reasonably priced. We passed on the budding flowers -- just too soon in the season, we think. But they had a lot of choices, so we'll be back in mid-May. We also like their indoor store; they have some fresh-grown tomatoes that are tasty and sell some very good locally grown canned and bottled products (try their apple sauce - really yummy).
