So just over two years ago I had my mechanic replace all rotors and pads on my 2004 Audi A6 Avant…read morewagon. We purchased the highest quality offered as I do not want to worry about warping or brake noise. Then when I start getting brake noise I brought the car back to the mechanic and he showed me that the rotors are scaling with pieces of the rotor actually pealing off the face. Note that this was still with the first set of NAPA's high end brake pads. Mechanic stated to me that this is clearly a warrantee issue with a product fault. NAPA who delivers to this mechanic daily responded with "sorry but the warrantee expired a few weeks ago". Really - That's Napa's position on what they offer as their best available product? Long and short is that as a single dad with two kids in school, I will not be purchasing auto parts from NAPA again for any of my 4 vehicles that are all ~ 10 years old. That age of a vehicle is the sweet spot for part stores as the consumer is typically not taking the vehicle to the dealer. I'll try to post a picture. AVOID NAPA brakes! Chuck

I've used the napa paint store several times buying product in my line of work- this last visit has…read moremade me want to find another supplier- I had paint mixed, like several times before, yet this time, I got half the paint I normally get, at the full price- the job wasn't able ti be finished, and the employee says they all get the same amount of paint mixed- he wouldn't even look at the difference in ounces, nor the fact that I know how far 8 ounces of base coat can be sprayed- now, costing me extra time and money, the panels have to be wet sanded, again- so that more base coat can be applied- which I'll be getting from somewhere else- this paint supply store has gone downhill the last couple months in my opinion- however, if I know for a fact that Ms. Patty is there, I'll buy product- she's the best at her job, has the knowledge of products and how to apply them better than some of the guys I've worked with in body shops- if Ms. Pattys at work, great place, if she's not there... keep rolling to the next place.

Dont know about the guy who purchased subpar rims from this place, sounds like he needed to…read moreresearch them before ordering them sight unseen. That being said, Ive bought my last three sets of tires from Tirerack and never had any issues. They dont install them, they just hand them to you off a loading dock. Then you get them installed at the place of your choosing. You should already have done your research, have read the tire reviews from independent sources, and know what tire you want. Then you get online and order them, then they will ship them to your house. If you buy tires from them and pick them up yourself, you can save 40 bucks. They can also ship them to one of their installer partners, like Pep boys or somewhere, and you can go have the installation done there. Prices are good, they will save you some money. Especially if you live close enough to pick them up yourself. No complaints so far.

I bought a set of 4 BF GOODRICH tires for my Chevy van. Very expensive tires. I also paid Tire Rack…read moreadditionally to have them install the tires in my driveway. Aside from the installer hitting my passenger side door with the jack handle, install process wasn't a bad experience. When I got to driving the vehicle few days later, there was a noticeable wobble when speed hit 55+. I contacted Tire Rack several times. The rep told me that my tire was "out of round" and that I needed to bring it somewhere to get that verified and that they would reimburse up to $30 per tird for that service. The local Chevy dealer wanted double that price. I found a shop in North Haven, CT that dismounted the rims and re-balanced thd tires to diagnose where the wobble was coming from. I sent the receipt to Tire Rack via email. They gave me the runaround and did not reimburse me. Long story long, I'm out an additional $120 AND my van is still wobbling going down thd road. I haven't reported Tire Rack to the BBB yet, but plan to. Stay away from these people. They do not back their service or the tires thry sell. Very displeased. Won't be buying from them again in the future.
