I decided to call around and found Myers who was more than willing to think outside of the box and suggested that since the part I needed was out of stock, they could replace the whole motor and get the air conditioner working. Since the unit was only 5 years old and still under warranty, this was a no brainer. They were able to come out within two hours and get me up and running. It's now April 14th, tons of texts, no conversations, no refunds of unused funds. He charged me then made excuses for a week, the family in my rental property didn't have a/c on a 92 degree day, then no heat on a 30 degree night and all he does is to promise, on a daily basis, "guaranteed, you'll be finished tomorrow"... how long am I supposed to fall for that and allow this to happen to my leasor. Total speculation... but the best that I can guess is that he is behind on his financial management, and has to collect from the next job to pay to complete the previous job. Then it takes him a few days to complete that, and then after he collects from some other sucker, he might finish your job.
