I would like to commend Zachary DiPardo for his excellent and very patient help. I was having great difficulty putting in my new filter. It was a bit large. Zachary was so patient with me showing trick how to get it in and it took a while for me to practice it, but he did not hurry me at all and allowed me to figure it out with his help. He also helped me understand my thermostat better. He was a very pleasant young man to work with besides being patient and knowledgeable. He was respectful and kind. It was a Friday afternoon, 80 and our A/C was not blowing cold air. I started a project on Yelp to get this resolved after I texted my regular guy and didn't hear from him. Air Care got back to me quickly and said they could come by on Monday between 9-11. There was one company that replied over the weekend but they had no reviews, so I didn't engage with them. Come Monday, Air Care was a no show, no call by 11:30. I called them and talked to Josh. He apologized and said their system didn't let them know I had an appointment. I knew I was texting with AI up to that point, so I accepted his apology. He told me they would have someone out between noon and 2. The technician showed up 20 minutes later and had the bad capacitor replaced and the spring service done in 20 minutes. Air Care came through in the end and got out A/C working again. My wife and I appreciated that and would hire them again. read more

One Wednesday during an August heatwave, my air conditioner gave out. I reached out to the HVAC company I'd trusted for over 20 years, hoping to replace my 18-year-old furnace and AC. They mentioned they might be able to install both the following week. I then contacted Air Care Heating and Cooling in Shawnee, Kansas. Jamie, their consultant, came to see me the same day. We went over different brands and pricing, and I decided on Lennox. Curious about the installation timeline, I asked Jamie when the new AC and furnace could be set up. To my surprise, he said, "Tomorrow morning, starting at 8:00 a.m.!" The next day, right at 8:00 a.m., my doorbell rang. Needed someone to come out and take a look at our heater before winter arrives... While the technician was here, we went ahead and did both AC and heating at the same time. We did have to have a part replaced, however Larry did a fantastic job explaining the whole process and outlining the additional services they offer. Casey is just simply awesome. He did a thorough check of my AC, which is 24 year old. He answered all my questions with details and also provided additional information for my reference. His knowledge and expertise is incredible. Since my unit is really old, the information on the information tag was already washed off. He managed to read the info from the tag with certain angle of light and explained to me what it means. He also helped me arranged follow-up for some of my requests. 5 star solid! read more

When they make a mistake, they make it right. After one of their technician misdiagnosed the Air Conditioner issue, because the first HVAC company hooked the old capacitor back up wrong, the owner took matters in his own hands and made things right for free and refunded the service call charge. The advise I have for home owners is: get multiple diagnoses, and give companies a second change. Especially Air Care, because they make things right. I will hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

Where do I start? Best experience with any business I've ever had. John and team were quite amazing. John came for a consultation on Wednesday, gave us an innovative solution for our ac issue (we had talked to 4 other hvac companies who could not solve the problem). We received a bid for a very fair price onsight and John and team were able to complete a big job for us on Friday of the same week. the team stayed until 8pm on a Friday night to finish the job. Great service from Air Care Heating & Cooling once again! Larry Donnici who is an excellent service technician diagnosed an issue with our furnace which was not repairable. Jon the owner came out to discuss our options in replacing the furnace & a/c, always responds to our questions and is quite humorous. Service team of Casey, Cam & Larry were out bright and early yesterday to replace the units and it went flawlessly. There were other people here too but did not catch their names so thank you too! We have heat now and so grateful since weather is changing and high will be in the 30's! Thank you to Josh and Joe in the office for their coordination too! In June 2018 I called Air Care to come fix my air conditioner which was not producing cold air. I was very dissatisfied with the technician, very unprofessional. I was offered a maintenance program, which I declined, due to his service. I took out a maintenance program with Mission Heating and Cooling (very reputable company). In August, 2018, my air conditioner stopped producing cold air. I called Mission and they arrived within a couple of hours and the part Air Care replaced had failed. I had to pay for that part again. I called Air Care explained what had occurred. They were not willing to assist in any way because I didn't call them to come look at the air conditioner. As I told the Service Manager, how would I have known it would be the same part and based on the previous experience, I chose not to call the back out. I feel they should have compensated me in some form since their part failed. As a previous small business owner, I would have found a way to assist in some way. read more
