I was assured that they were. However, after our visits, we received a bill for more than $300 for services that we believed would be covered by insurance. When I contacted the billing department multiple times to resolve the issue, I was told that the office charges more than what my insurance allows for a cleaning. Had this been explained upfront, I could have made a more informed decision about receiving care there. I was also disappointed with how the billing situation was handled. Despite repeated attempts to discuss the matter, no meaningful resolution was offered. We even received a past-due notice before ever receiving a proper statement outlining the charges. The clinical experience itself was not particularly positive. The hygienist was chewing gum during the appointment and was not especially gentle. My son was given fluoride treatment without anyone discussing it with me beforehand or asking for permission. The office environment also felt dated and less welcoming than other dental practices we have visited locally. Overall, between the unexpected charges, lack of communication regarding costs, billing frustrations, and the quality of the patient experience, this was not a positive experience for our family. I would encourage anyone considering this office to carefully verify all costs in writing before receiving treatment.

After a quick Google search of "dentist near me," I stumbled upon Dr. Chris Mountford and the Mountford & Ruszkowski Family Practice. Dr. Mountford called me back immediately. Within 45 minutes, he opened up his practice in his snow gear and with his son in tow. My son's tooth was treated and put back in place within an hour. Dr. Mountford did an excellent job.
