Continuing mom and I's annual tradition of getting a fish fry during Lenten season, for 2026, we quickly decided we had to try Tapped on Main's (Mark's Pizzeria of Medina) fish fry and wow-ee, was this great! On a relatively busy Friday, around 6pm, we managed to get a parking spot along Main St., practically right in front of Tapped on Main's entrance! Upon walking in, the main dining room was packed. Although there were a few spots at the bar, my mom knew there was another dining area, which was practically empty except for a crew of people playing darts, so we checked in with one of the young women at the bar and she said that we were more than welcome to grab a table in there and she'd be right over with our menus. We easily found a table in the other dining area - This was a nice area as it wasn't nearly as busy and much less going on, the music was lightly playing overhead so we could carry-on a conversation with ease. I think there was a TV or two with MLB opening day 2026 games playing but no sound, which was absolutely fine with us. Our waitress was a very courteous young woman who did a good job checking in on us throughout the evening. We ordered drinks and our fish fry right away and the wait time was incredibly reasonable! We had a short wait, which was nice for catching up and sipping on our beers, which I ordered Big Ditch Brewing's "Long Haul" honey lager, which was brewed for the Erie Canal bicentennial and dang, I wish I had tried that sooner, this was delish! Onto the fish fry! Beer-battered haddock over a bed of French fries, with a cup of tartar sauce and a lemon wedge, a side of coleslaw, and a garlic knot. First and foremost, the fish itself was HUGE! We were really impressed though with how well battered it was, fried perfectly as it was sturdy but still easily cuttable with a fork. The haddock within was hot, fantastic flavor. The fries underneath were also REALLY good, cooked perfectly, gold and crispy. What surprised me the most was the coleslaw - I'm not a big fan of vinegar-y, runny coleslaw and this was not. It was on the creamier side, had a really good flavor, almost tasted like there was a bit of a black pepper note on the end. I would eat coleslaw more often if that is what it tasted like! The garlic knot was excellent too, doughy with a nice amount of garlic butter and parmesan on top. We were so impressed though with the quality and the portion size - We ended up taking some home! As for the price, I thought I saw the bill say $17.95 (that could be before tax) but that is a reasonable price for everything we received, in my opinion anyway. Tapped on Main, i.e. Mark's Pizzeria of Medina, surprises, and impresses, me once again! The staff and food continue to be great! One of the worst gluten-free pizzas I've ever had. The super thin crust was totally burnt, and when I pointed this out to the waitress, she said, "it always looks like that." We were starving, so we ate it anyway. Mediocre sauce. Cheese and toppings kept sliding off. The waitress was annoying and clueless. She kept coming back to ask how everything was even though she'd already dismissed my concern over the burnt pizza. The best one was when she came over as I was literally in the middle of a slice to ask if I was needed a box. I explained that what she was seeing was someone who was, in fact, eating. The place looked really cute and I had high hopes, but after $30 for a burnt pizza and a pint, I won't be going back. read more

Heyyyy So my first time in Geneva / Penn Yan / Dresden / the BEAUTIFUL FINGER LAKES literally all 5-6 miles of each other sits this very delicious pizzeria! We were met by a very nice young lady on our lunch break from a work trip to the Ingersoll Museum! The people are very nice and approachable! I'd definitely visit the lakes again! Marks is now my go to spot for pizza. I like all kinds, ny style, deep dish, thin crust, St. Louis style. Mark's has a bit of their own. The pan pizza is my favorite. Healthy dose of toppings and cheese and cooked well each time. They put a little garlic butter on the bottom of the crust and it's delicious. The staff is super friendly and even if you forget the coupons they make sure to put them on. They gave a great variety of toppings. The wings are pretty good as well. Always cooked like I want with medium buffalo and bbq as options. They have a bunch of different flavors but I don't branch out much. The fried dough is pretty dang good as well. We usually eat that on the drive home. read more

I've given this place my business over and over again so much that they made enough money to remodel...however now they've become bigger than ever in their own heads. It reads that you can order for pickup and delivery until close but they won't go 10 minutes if it in the last hour of the day. Typical lazy, falling apart business that'll never get my money again. They asked if I wanted to do an order for pick-up instead...yeah, that's why I called for delivery. Overpriced anyways. read more

You can order by phone, online or in person. They deliver any time they are open. Typically 11:00am till 10 or 12pm CLOSING. They proclaim to be voted best pizza in orleans county. It must be an acquired taste. They fortunately have more on their menu. Buffalo, BBQ, or sweet and sour wings. Subs, calzones, salads and mostly deep fried dinners, but everything is take out. No dining area at all. Not even a stand up area. Lunch special is two large slices and a 20oz bottle drink. A $14 large cheese and peperoni pizza is SOP for this area. I knew there was a few locations but apparently it is a franchise. This particular location has been around for 12 years. Coupons available online at their web site. I am not sure what happened but there idea of double meat is less that a normal sub from well even subway. Took it back thinking there was a mistake an was told they been that way for 20 years. Great pizza, great subs, great menu. Online order is great. Old World pizza is fantastic!! Stinger sub is my personal favorite. The service is quick and the employees are friendly. A little expensive on some items but it's a great business run by a great owner. Stop in and grab a fresh slice , and judge for yourself !! read more

I would give a zero if I could. Spent 80.00 on a pizza that was supposed to have all kinds of cheese n extra toppings. Gave the delivery guy 30.00 tip and opened pizza and got what looked to have a pencil eraser of each topping along with barley any cheese. Called and told them about it and the manager claims they are doing a new thing and mixing cheese in with there toppings. I advised him that I had the best pice of puzza in my hand and assured him there was no cheese or toppings. He claimed best he could do for me is take 10 % off my next order. I wish I could rate it zero. I usually order from Avant is but decided to try marks. My $8 chicken fingers were actually chicken tenders (like McDonalds) and the chicken on my "grilled chicken salad" was semi frozen. I complained and he told me the fingers was the manufacturers fault and that the chicken salad comes that way...frozen : / WTF. Told him I will not order again and didn't seem to care to be losing a customer. Gross. read more
