I watched them take a flounder fillet that was sitting on ice in a cooler and bread it along with some shrimp that I had ordered. In a few minutes, I had some the best fried seafood I had ever eaten. I honestly can't think of any better fried seafood I have had. There have been some places that come close, but you can get world-class fried seafood in Whiteville NC if you know where to find it. It's a little hard to find as it is not on the main drag and the signage is lacking. Make sure you bring cash as they do not take credit/debit card. I think if they did, they would do a better business as their prices are moderate. They are a little more expensive than the places that take it out of the freezer and drop it in the fryer. Another reviewer noted poor customer service. I have been there about a half a dozen times, and they have provided me, and the other customers I observed, with fantastic, friendly, customer service.
