As someone recovering from cancer, I am mindful about what I eat and often ask questions about menu items, daily specials, and popular dishes so I can find options that aren't overly heavy or greasy. When I specifically asked about specials and recommendations, I was directed first toward the seafood boils and then several of the highest priced menu items. What was surprising was that we later discovered a daily specials menu that was never mentioned to us despite my direct questions. It felt less like guidance and more like an attempt to steer us toward the most expensive choices available. As time went on, our experience continued to decline. It took over 20 minutes just to receive our drinks, and throughout our visit our server was frequently unavailable.
