Recently relocated to the Rochester NY area and have been hunting for furniture. I found Markson's Furniture doing a Google search. I left a message online to ask about availability of a dining set I liked, and they got right back to me as soon as the store opened the next morning. Very helpful associate (Brandon) in the showroom, I described to him what I was looking for and he showed me great options. Very high quality and excellent pricing. And delivery was quick! When my dining room table was delivered, it was a little wobbly (turns out the floors in my townhouse are not level!) . If you want the best/easiest and quickest furniture shopping experience you have to go to Marksons Furniture in Greece and see Jason!!! He is the nicest, most knowledgeable and over all awesome person! When I first went there to shop I was in a miserable mood because I had just gone furniture shopping a month before but was now forced to do it again after a fallout. He made the experience seem less! He asked me what I was shopping for my price range and what I liked. I showed him pics of my new place and he took me around the show room and was able to pick me out an entire new home of furniture I loved! He really hooked me up ! Then when the delivery came the men couldn't get the couch into my house they were so apologetic when clearly it wasn't their fault. They told me to call the store so I did and asked for Jason. He too was very apologetic and said if I wanted I could one in he could take care of me. When I came in he greeted me and took me right to the back and showed me similar options that he found that would work. They will willing to work out a deal with me for buying multiple pieces, I was able to get a good discount. We went to multiple stores and didn't find exactly what we wanted for the right price till we went here. Ray and Rob their delivery team was excellent as well. I ordered a couch through their website with ease. There were plenty of discounts and promo codes to use as well! The owner always promptly kept in touch with me during the entire pandemic and kept me updated with my order and any questions I had. My couch just arrived today and the delivery guys were great (quick, professional, and tidy!). The couch is just as pictured online and I couldn't be any more satisfied. I've been waiting on a couch for over 4 weeks PAST what they said it would be delivered by. EXTREMELY disappointed in the customer service when I try to call to see when it will arrive they constantly keep pushing it back and aren't doing ANYTHING to try to compensate. For the past three weeks I've been calling and every week they are telling me "four more weeks." Honestly terrible, don't waste your money or your time talking to these people. read more

We got our new furniture yesterday. Wow ,the Two men that delivered the furniture were very professional and polite. They explained what they were doing and set up everything the way my wife wanted them. They asked use to please look over everything and make sure we were happy with the furniture. Terrible customer service. My mother bought a power recliner, couch and bunk beds and never received one call on delivery. She called 6 times , the bunk bed took almost 8 weeks and every week she had to call to see what was going on. Now she has had the power recliner for 3 weeks and it's stopped working. She calls and of course it's her fault, check the cords. So, my sister and me checked to cords, no problem. They said yesterday a service guy will call, my mom waiting still today and called back. Oh, he didn't call you yesterday? No, well, he should have, we will get in touch with him, hours later still nothing. Customer service is terrible. read more

Shopped and found couch at Ashleys that hade all the features and comfort we were looking for. After going through the wringer the salesman gave us the best internet price which was still more than I wanted to spend. Went home and did some investigating and found Markson's sold Ashley furniture and had this same couch and a coupon for free delivery. We went in and even though they did not have it on the show room said it would take 6 to 8 weeks which was better than Ashley's 8 to 12 weeks. After all was said and done saved close to $800.00 over Ashley's inflated price after buying the extended warrantee. The couch came in in 7 weeks. Just got the couch today and was very impressed with the young men that delivered and set it up. They were great. What a pleasant experience and I would recommend highly. From now on I will check there first as unlike Ashley's they do not hover over you and blow smoke up your butt. read more

I purchased Ashley bedroom furniture from them. The price was by far the best price. Their customer service is by superior to others, no pressure to buy and are there to just assist you. This is a family owned business with no commissions they are salaried. Their delivery cost is only $29.00. They have other brand names also bassett etc. Their delivery people were very courteous and careful. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I recently ordered a couch from this store. I was told it would take 7 to 10 business days for the couch to arrive. When that time had passed, I called the store to speak to a manager. I was polite, and was just asking if the couch could be delivered any sooner. The manager was very rude to me, and my couch ended up being a week late. Overall, we are please with the couch, but I would have paid more to receive better service. I should have been treated as a valued customer and not spoken to in a disrespectful manor. We will definitely not be going back to this store. read more
