I am not sure if the "why" matters if you go shopping and wear a large and there are none. I was not able to view the size or price tags without having to fish for them and pull it out so I could see. I found it annoying when shopping since buying clothes is the main goal. It is not an art exhibit. Maybe they do not know what it is like to be short and not able to easily view the tags. It is amazing how are unaware people people are of size differences. Yes, you can set your store up however you want. Just not every one will find it user friendly.

Upon walking into the store, the staff is incredibly friendly. The only thing a bit odd is that it smells like cigarette smoke throughout the store. I believe that is their signature incense but the first couple of times I visited, I assumed that there were people in the back room smoking. The layout of the store is easy to navigate and the minimalistic approach to their displays is a welcome change from your typical overwhelming shopping experience. Rather than display every size they have in every style they offer, they only display one size of each style. I appreciated that because it made for a much simpler shopping experience. Additionally, their sneaker selection is amazing. Every time I go in, there are a few new styles to look at. This is probably my favorite spot for finding some cool sneakers. It's filled with all the normal departments - women's, men's and children's clothing; home decor; beauty supplies; handbags; gift bags, wrapping and stationary; bedding and bath; small furniture; pet supplies; cleaning products; kitchen and pantry items; home decor; and seasonal. A little bit of everything! Appears that they are still stocking up because while I was there, workers were busy unloading items onto shelves, rearranging sections, and putting clothing out. My only negative comment is the lack of room between the clothing aisles. The small shopping cart could barely fit through the narrow space; it literally was hitting all the clothes on both sides as I walked through the aisles. Since it's almost fall, I couldn't resist purchasing a cream & tan plaid, duster cardigan for $34.99. I tried to do a catch and release, but was unsuccessfull! Especially after I found a pair of chocolate brown, loose pants, the color of the season, and on clearance for just $11. Together, it's a great fall outfit for $46. In the juniors department, I found a pair of high waisted, loose denim jeans with the shredded rips in all the right places. Not typically my style, at my age, but the price was great and they looked really good with a fall sweater. Tip for women - don't be afraid to browse in the Juniors department; often they have on-trend pieces for lower prices than the Women's area. There is plenty of parking right out front, including two handicapped spots. Next door is Ross, but I feel Marshall's has better quality clothes, and overall, a much better shopping experience.
