We called around first thing on a Saturday morning and no one was working or accepting appointments on a reasonable basis, except Pep Boys. They told us to come around 5pm, and since we had a full brand new tire for them to put on, they said they would check it out. NGL, the waiting area leaves a lot to be desired, but customer service said they would do their best to see if our new tire would work and do their best in an hour. We strolled over to the Amazon grocery, but there's not much else here on foot, came back to wait, and new tire was put on like a charm and very affordable! Thank you, Pep Boys.

The gas operation is separate from the service station. Over time the gas side has changed hands but these excellent mechanics have REMAINED THE SAME GREAT PEOPLE SINCE 1973! If you are like most folks, there is always some unpleasant pressure when you bring your car to a service station. How much is it going to cost? Will I get it back on time? Will I be pressured to buy unnecessary stuff? There is a reason why I've been using these folks for 18 years! My car is always ready ON TIME. I have several cars, from a 1967 through a 2016, and have had most of them here for various repairs or for tires. They can do newer high-tech cars relying on scanner codes and they can do old cars where all the diagnostics are done with the mechanic's eyes and skills. No matter the car, I have been satisfied EVERY time I've visited. Their tire prices are a little higher than the discount places, but not much. I'm happy to spend a few extra dollars for the knowledge that the installation will be trouble free. Appointment wait time is almost always within a week. They are friendly and communicate well throughout the process. If you don't need something, they won't try to sell it. I am thoroughly satisfied with Qyst and will be returning soon I'm sure! Hopefully not TOO soon;-)

Nice! I still went ahead with it. It took a little longer than expected since they couldn't find the key to my wheel lug nuts (surprise!)
