I had the best experience @ Ardmore Tires today. I had 3 tires losing air that needed to be filled weekly. I assumed I need 4 new tires. When I arrived I was told my tire tread was fine and that I didn't need new tires. They repaired one with a screw in it, then removed all tires from the rims, cleaned the corrosion and remounted and balanced my tires to the tune of $111. They could have sold me 4 new tires, but were upfront and honest about what I needed. I would highly recommend Ardmore Tires on Colwell Lane in Conshy. read more

How was my service experience??It's hard to say because no one acknowledged my presence when i arrived. I stopped in because my tire was losing pressure. Parked and entered and stood.....and stood....and waited.....and waited.....and waited. For at least 15 minutes I watched people walk in and out. Have conversations, sit at desks, answer phones, talk about food, and never once said what can we do for you? Nothing. If there was a line or they were just too busy, I could understand. If they said we are swamped and it will be a while, I could accept that. But nothing. The men that work there were all approachable, professional, fast and efficient. The pricing for the new tires, are fair, and I am thrilled that I found this place. I actually learned about them through someone else's review, here on yelp, and forgot to write a review of my own experience. It's been about two weeks, and my new tire replacement is still going strong. NO issues at all. I have a 2020 Kia Sportage. This is the first time I took my car to a tire shop, vs the dealership and I'm glad I did! I asked for a tire size, that. the person working on tires said they had the tires size, when I went in the manager lied and said he did not have it when I told him the employee said they did have it he became annoyed and rude and started to ignore me. Got my tire changed here. I will never return to Ardmore tire! They replaced my tire, and didn't put a lug nut on one of the studs. Within 4 days of the replaced tire the stud came loose and fell into the same compartment my emergency brake is located in my rear tire. When I was driving the stud was flying around in the well and somehow caused my emergency brake to engage! Scary moment for me. Poor service. Serious mistake could have caused a serious accident or serious car damage. read more

I just had the best customer experience, EVER, with the guys at Ardmore Tire. We rented a RV, for a week long trip that begins tomorrow morning. When I got home from picking it up (an hour away), I saw a gash in the front right tire, that wasn't noticed during the inspection. Knowing I was pressed for time, and it was somewhat of an emergency.....I called, explained my predicament, these guys told me to come over right away....and they'd squeeze me in to get it done. He asked me what size tire I needed, I advised that I didn't know off the top of my head and my thinking was its a tire store, if I give my year, make and model they should be able to look it up.. I said I would look it up online and could hear him mumble under his breath and call me a f.cking a..hole! shocked in disbelief I had it on speaker phone my wife even heard him say it. when I confronted him, he said he didn't say it and would never say anything like that. Great price. Fast service. Nothing fancy about this place. They sell tires and put them on. I wouldn't bring my Porsche here but for a work truck it's perfect. The lobby is bright and has magazines. I also bring my own. The large office space has at least a dozen grand father and walk clocks that all wind up. It's cool. Tick-tock Call them for a quote and you maybe be pleasantly surprised. Dropped tires off late Thursday afternoon they were too busy to mount tires then so i left them didn't hear anything Friday so i called them to see if they had been done which they hadn't, i had to call them Saturday morning to see if they were done with no missed calls or voicemails on my recent calls list on my phone after they were supposed to call me when they were done. I will never be using this company for tires ever again their customer service is absolutely trash i asked if i could be there in 30min could somebody stay they said no after the fact of them not calling me like i was told they would do. Had an idiot moment and popped one of my front tires. After calling all the usual suspects (Bridgestone, Tires Plus, etc.), I scheduled a next-day appointment with Pep Boys. For 2 tires comparable to what the dealer put on my 2005 Honda Civic LX, Pep Boys quoted me at $260-ish (their words) for 2 tires, tax, and other fees - this is a TOTALLY different quote than a friend of mine got when he called for a quote using my same make/model/circumstances. After talking to the parents and friends, they suggested I look into Ardmore Tire b/c it's fast, convenient, and a considerable amount cheaper. Well - thank God for that advice! I called Ardmore and they told me to come right in. The cost of the tires was the same as PB but services and fees were so much cheaper, I'm pretty sure PB was trying to rip me off. Prices are a-mazing. Shop around and even check tirerack.com. In my experience, getting the tires from these guys is about the same price as ordering from TR and paying an installer - with less hassle. It's pretty industrial looking though, so be prepared for dirt and mud. read more

I purchased a tire from here that was supposed to be "brand new". However the tire that I was sold had a small patch on the inside of the wall like it had been repaired. Therefore, it wasn't "brand new". Due to this I had a small leak in my tire and I contacted the business about this and the guy on the phone told me that they don't sell used tires. Obviously the one that I was sold was not. He was talking like it was impossible to have sold me a defected tire. To make a long story short, I was not refunded any money and now I have to buy a whole new tire after not having this one for a year. Went here today to have 4 new tires put on my vehicle. Even though they stated they were backed up, I walked in and was out with 4 beautiful new tires in less than one hour (Contrast that to a horrible Firestone experience, where even with an appointment it took all day and two Uber rides back to my house and then back to Firestone). All the staff were extremely friendly and you could tell they take customer service seriously. I will be using Ardmore Tire for all my future tire needs and highly recommend them for quick and efficient tire services. Every time I have called, they have been more than knowledgeable and friendly. Should they not have a tire in stock, which is rare to begin with, they almost have it for you within 48 hours. When coming in to have a tire changed, I have never waited more than 30 minutes... in and out! There were also two occasions that I had to have them come change tires on an ambulance while on the side of 76... they were very prompt, professional, and got the ambulance back on the road without any issues. Always had a good experience at Ardmore tire. This place is mostly for light and heavy duty trucks. Right off the highway so anytime one of our company trucks have a tire that needs patching, plugging, or replacing we just drive it over right away. No appointment necessary. Prices are great and included tire and installation. The don't try to gouge your on install. That's all they do so they don't need to "make it up" elsewhere. I drive from the city to Conshohocken just to get serviced here. Lots of places in the city are sketchy and don't have the inventory at times. This place is never not able to help us. Don't know where we'd be without them. I can drive in and leave in a few minutes to continue my day and then not ever think about it after. Had a nail in my tire that I wasn't able to plug myself. Walked in the office at 6:55 AM (place opens at 7) and was immediately greeted by the service group. They patched my tire, balanced it and mounted it for me in 25 mins. They also checked the pressure on my spare to make sure it was ok if I needed it again in the future. Oh and it only cost me $18.
