Never will come back. Place is a total rip off. I spent $80 for an oil change and a tire rotation. Some places do the tire rotation and more as part of the oil change bundle for alot cheaper. I had two coupons, which only one could be used. They took the one coupon that was the cheaper of the two to discount. So they saved me $10 instead of $30, shisty!!! I had been coming here the past 5 or so years to finally find out they have been price gouging me for all these years. I have a car inspection due in a couple months. Guess what??? I will not be going to Rapco! There are many other places around here to go to. I chose Rapco bc I thought they did a pretty good job, but not for the price. Happy and satisfied with customer service, explanations, respect for the customer, and quick repairs. We had an unusual repair problem and were referred to Rapco. Steve went into details with plain English and sympathy, and offered a suitable plan. He quickly secured the necessary parts, started the work immediately, and was done in a flash, including welding. This was about as good a repair experience can get! Great customer service and communication. Job done correctly with good quality parts installed. Background: I woke up to a car that didn't start. I went on the nextdoor app and asked my neighbors for recommendations as I was new to the area and this spot was the first of many. I researched them on Google and yelp and they had great reviews. I called, spoke with Miguel, and dropped my car off around noon. They fit me right in and the guys at the front desk were professional; it was a quick check in. I recieved a call a short time after to explain the diagnosis. It was a bad battery and corroded terminals. I was then asked how I wanted to procede after he explained the charges thus far. I gave him the ok and we moved forward to ensure it wasn't the alternator or starter and luckily it wasnt. He called me an hour later informing me the car was ready to go. The guys went the extra mile by making some recommendations but not at all pushy. All in all, great experience with honest professionals. I did do some research on the going rate for this job and the price was very very fair. I highly recommend if you're in Havertown/Upper Darby/Drexel hill area. read more

I have been going to Rapco for a couple of years and this has to be one of the most trustworthy shops that I have been. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Instead of just telling you what is wrong they will actually show you. Recently went to have 4 new tires placed on my wife's car. They were cool with letting me get the tires elsewhere and drop them off the day before, which was a big help to me. Definitely recommend these guys. read more

Great Service with a Smile I work in the automotive service business for a competitor of Rapcos but we do not do exhaust work. I called them and they were able to take me in right away. When I explained what I wanted done to my new car (performance exhaust installation) they were incredibly helpful. Once they were done with the first part of they invited me to come out to check their work. The second part was new exhaust tips being welded on. They lowered the car so I could hold them exactly where I wanted them And then he tacked them on. Once I was satisfied with their placement they went ahead and finished welding them on. Fair price considering the work they completed for me in about an hour and 15 minutes. These guys are great and I highly recommend them. Ask for Bruce! read more

I have used this auto repair shop a few times and had a greats experience. They are very close to my house and have convenient hours. They are also really good about squeezing your car in for a last minute oil change. My favorite part about this place is that they seem to be straights shooters. They will let you know what service needs to happen now and what can be held off on until a later point. One note is that this place is slightly more expensive then other mechanics in the area, but I think that they provide good service so it is worth it. read more

They do not try to rip you off by doing extra jobs for which they can charge you. They are also very good about keeping you informed of the car's status when it's in their shop for repair. The way I found this place is through my brother. At first, I was a little skeptical about it, because everytime we turned around, something was wrong with my brother's 2003 Chevrolet Equinox. For a while, I thought it was this place, because my brother would always come back and forth here. One thing was wrong with the car, then it was two things and so forth. The first time I entered this place was when I needed a tire since I had blew the tire on my 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. We came here, instead of going to the dealer, since the dealer was too far where I had blew the tire and this place was nearby. It was on a Saturday and we spoke to Miguel. Miguel was very professional and asked what was wrong and could he help us? Also he explained the place closed at 12 noon on Saturday and we had to bring it in as soon as possible. I ended up calling Roadway Assistance and they put on the donut after an hour waiting and then we rode on to RapCo. We made an appointment for Monday, since it was too late on Saturday, it was after noon and on Monday, they fixed the tire, I bought a new tire from them and they mounted it and I was out in a flash!!!! I have since been going there, quite frequently with my other car, 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander. It is the same story!!! I am quite pleased with this repair place. Steve, Miguel and Joey are simply the best!!!!! They listen patiently because I ask a lot of questions and they are always so polite!!!! read more

There's nothing like being able to trust the people taking care of your car. I've been here multiple times, and always leave satisfied. Most recently, they fixed a problem caused by a different mechanic -- AND drove me home AND picked me up because it was raining out. When I've had more serious problems with my older car, they've always made the diagnosis quickly AND presented me with solid information AND a reasonable set of options for how to fix the situation. These guys are the best! I took my car there for about 4 years while I lived in Philly. They were always very honest, helpful and quick. They never did any work before verifying that I was ok with it, explained what was wrong and the mechanics of the issue in detail. At one point I had my rear deferential worked on and they warned me that if a certain part broke while they were fixing it the cost would be about $400 more than what we originally discussed, I agreed and miraculously that part did not break while they were working on my car and I ended up paying less than I was prepared for. Before I left Philly for good they looked over my car and handed me a packet of what will need to be done and how much time I had before those things needed to be done, how much they will cost and which things are a safety concern or not. By far the best auto mechanic experience I've had on the east coast and I would highly recommend them. read more
