As someone who works in a rehab program I am pretty particular as I work with therapists all day long. Kevin was my primary PT and he is very skilled/knowledgeable. He really helped me understand my limitations and work through some big barriers. I also worked with Miguel and Karen and they are great as well. I appreciate that each therapist has different yet effective approaches to treatment. Another plus is that your primary PT works with you the entire session. In some programs the PT works with you for about 10 minutes then passes you off to an assistant or puts you on a piece of equipment for 20-30 minutes but patients get a lot of 1:1 here. Kristen, Delaney and Arlene were always helpful in the scheduling/billing areas. They are all very friendly and willing to help however they can. The facility is clean and well-maintained with a variety of equipment for patients to use. I would highly recommend this place for anyone recovering from an orthopedic surgery/injury. During that time I had seven orthopedic surgeries to patch things up along the way, all requiring lengthy physical therapies to get back to the job. All of that means little, but it most certainly did give me a familiarity with the whole physical therapy process. I got very accustomed to the grind of attending physical therapy, which became a love/hate relationship, with the emphasis on the hate! All four of the previous practices I visited were pretty much all the same in that the first few visits included attentive interactions with the physical therapists, before being released to work mostly with the young physical therapy assistants. After a while it always felt like I was on autopilot from there on out, though I didn't know any better and just accepted it as being the norm. Enter the Move Well Physical Therapy practice in Cypress California! I was fortunate enough to find this practice and "especially" fortunate to have Kevin Galacgac be assigned as my therapist! Not only is Kevin super personable, his knowledge on therapy blew me away when compared to my previous therapists. His ability to understand my hamstring and forearm injuries were immediate, and his prescribed courses of exercises were deliberately designed to layer my strength rehabilitation by gradually starting with my tendons and working up to my muscles. Even better, I was never once released to a 20 something year old assistant, who often times very obviously did not know what they were doing. Nope, every single session was 100% Kevin the entire time and he was on me the whole way not only ensuring that I was performing the exercises correctly, but ensuring as well that I knew why I was doing them and how they were going to help heal my injuries. No BS, no pomp, no fluff, no coddling, just professionally focused physical therapy! As a Mr. Nobody, I felt compelled to write this review and praise Kevin for helping me get back on my feet, which is definitely harder to do these days at 55 years old. I've done continuous stretching and exercises I've learned online in order to try to stay active. Start of DynamX PT: Abigail did my evaluation and noticed I had weak posterior chain. Her and Dustin came up with a workout routine that I did both at physical therapy and at home. In my 3-month span I was able to go from barely able to jog with pain to one legged explosive jumping.
