He also provided great advice on how to choose the right colors for what we wanted to have done, and it was clear he wanted us to take care with that process so we'd really love how it looked when it was done. Not only does our house look amazing and exactly how we wanted it, but Haven also repaired a hole in the siding left after we had a yellow jacket nest removed, and he barely charged us anything for that additional, unplanned work. I received constant professional communication (day, night, weekend) when things weren't going well (outside of their control) and what they were doing to resolve. They thoroughly owned resolving each obstacle instead of pushing it back to me to work out. This involved buying different kinds of paint and performing tests -- I even got a video of the test results to illustrate my options. Its obvious that this company cares a great deal about providing 5 star experiences. Its that additional amount of work that they did which has me so enthusiastic about referring them to anyone needing painting done (commercial or residential.)

For starters we were looking to have our house painted. We had 3 estimates and based on professionalism and price, Legacy was the clear winner. 2 other positive things I'll say is the guy that wrote up the contract including repairs to the house and the gentleman who pressure washed the house were also good. This is where things get negative. The painters are Spanish and my wife and I are English and all communication was never very clear. There were days they waved goodbye and I replied "all done for the day" and they reply yes. But a few hours later they show up and go back to work. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but we have a dog that's not so stranger friendly and they opened the back gate why our dog was in the backyard. My wife tried letting the woman know "please don't come in" but she didn't understand, causing us to hastily get the dog back in the house. Other issues involving the contract to repair the house were ignored and just painted over what we paid for repairing. My wife tried reaching out to see why this had happened, but we really never got an answer. Parts of the house need another coat of paint, and as far as we know no one ever came to inspect completion and all pictures we take won't show the areas that needed extra work. The last thing I will say and what bothers me the most, we instructed days we would be out of town and didn't want anyone over for any reason. While on vacation are ring camera was going nuts and someone was walking around cleaning up. We had so many issues with Legacy my wife did try reaching out personally, but she never got a clear resolution. Talking to my wife about what we have as a finished product is very disappointing to her. She is the most reasonable person I know and is hoping to just get the paint used so we could just finish ourselves and move on.

He listened carefully to my concerns, communicated with me throughout the process, and, when it mattered most, personally rearranged his schedule to be on-site and make sure the final details were completed properly. That level of commitment meant a great deal to me. Joel's knowledge, craftsmanship, and attention to detail were equally impressive. It was obvious he cared about the finished product and took pride in doing quality work. Together, Evan and Joel were willing to rethink the approach as new challenges emerged, adapting the plan when needed rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all solution. They stayed committed to finding practical solutions and seeing a difficult project through instead of taking shortcuts or walking away when challenges arose. The final result is beautiful. My house looks refreshed, the curb appeal has been completely transformed, and I'm genuinely proud of how it turned out. Looking at it now, it's hard to appreciate just how much work went into getting it to this point. Honestly I can't believe I lived with it like that for as long as I did. Hiring Vasyl / Leo Painters for this was definitely the right move. I've worked with Vasyl and his team once before (on a full house interior paint job), so I already knew I was in good hands. They did a better job than I expected was even possible in this bathroom - that had clearly seen decades of terrible paint jobs, and damage from steam, etc. Vasyl informed me of the correct and quality kind of paint to use for this job (I just gave him the color), in addition to pointing out the existing issues (that I hadn't realized). They are professional in a variety of ways, and you can rest assured you're in good hands with Vasyl and his team. I'm just glad I had his number saved from the last job I hired him for. When we asked to reschedule from the spring because a bird had built its nest right next to the house, Sam was very gracious and said he'd work us in once the babies had flown the nest. He then booked us for the week of the 4th of July, and two of his guys worked a full day on the holiday to get everything done within a week.
