I was driving on the 10E/60E on a Sunday afternoon and then suddenly, my tire pressure monitor went off on my Mazda CX-5. When this had happened a few years ago in another family car, there was a nail that was causing rapid deflation. Because of that experience, I knew that this could get super serious. Octavio came to the rescue!!! It's Friday and I got a flat. Not liking that but who can help after 5pm? Marquez Tires can!! It's your average tire shop. They have a drive up and park inside the small shop. The guy assessed and quickly repaired the tire. The culprit was a small nail. It took him like 10 minutes when said and done. They charged $15 for the patch up. CASH ONLY. Luckily I had a $20z not sure what I'd done otherwise. It's an industrial zone and they are open 24 hours. read more

Last month, my car got a flat tire around 8pm. I called AAA who was directing me to a tire shop that was closed! Luckily for me, the tow truck driver that picked me up knew of a spot near the freeway that was OPEN 24/7! When he dropped me off, I was greeted by the owner who was super nice and friendly. I was in & out in 20 mins! This month, I got ANOTHER flat tire (different tire than last time). I didn't even think about it. THIS IS THE SPOT TO GO. Super affordable prices! I realized my tire pressure was low after work. It was already past 8:30 pm and I needed to find a place to patch my tire before it became completely flat. I found this place on yelp and went right away. The workers there were friendly and work was started right away. I do believe the tire was fixed properly but they charged me $50 dollars. Looking at other reviews here, it seems like the price is around $15. The man who fixed the tire said it was because it was late at night, but $50 just seems like a major rip off. So after, I dropped by a gas station to put air in the tire and realized they didn't put the wheel cap on for one of the lug nuts and the tire valve cover. I then went back to have it put back on, but they kept saying the wheel cap was already broken. Obviously it wasn't already broken and it was either lost or they broke it in the process. I really don't write bad reviews but this just really made me angry. A wheel cap is not expensive, but to keep saying it was already broken when it clearly was fine before, just isn't honest. And again, I really do believe I was ripped off. $50 just doesn't make any sense. read more

Ask for Balrazar, he's really good and we were out of there in less than 20 minutes with both tires fixed. The area is a little sketchy at nights but if you mind your own, you'll be fine. Great service!!!! Great employees!!!! No hassle!!!! Open 24/7!!!!!!!!!! Was driving south bound towards San Diego on I-5 south it was 9pm and we notice that our car gave us a emergency notification on a low psi. We had a psi of 25. (30 psi is the normal) . We took an exit around 9:15 and went to the nearest gas station where we bought gas and also filled the tire with air. (I also bought a lottery ticket that I won $50!!!) As we drove off the emergency notification went off again saying we had a psi of 14. I got off and checked the tire and it was on flat. I must have put too much air and it blew out whatever i ran over (most likely a nail). I immediately went on yelp hoping and praying that there was a tire shop open at this time. This was the first place that came up and it was literally around the corner! I called to make sure that the 24/7 info on yelp was correct and it was! The guy told me to come on down and he'll patch it up in no time. When we got there we found out it the tire couldn't hold a patch but he recommended a plug which worked out! #GodisGood!!!! We got a flat, won $50, then met this angle around the corner sent from heaven to fix us up and now we are on the way to San Diego! read more

My one night in East Los Angeles.... I arrived in Laguna Beach early this afternoon to do a performance with a good associate of mine and when I arrived, a genteel man brought to my attention that the tire of my driving side was frayed... well I said, ok I'll get that done later tonight. I dropped my mom and daughter off at home firsthand and proceeded to go to the appropriate area- East Los Angeles!!!!! I gotta admit, the company name had me pretty much, but my decision was not only secured, but firm because this guy looked out for me....I get that done, and then I see a local taco truck stand... Christmas Eve and OPEN! exiting freeway this place is a life savor and an amazing tire repair shop... as I was exiting hit a pothole and front driver tire in my mini popped called around a few places all closed on Xmas eve and this was around almost 11pm and he was able to replace my tire at a reasonable cost and he can also go to you if stranded.
