Crime within a gated community where maintenance staffs keep roaming Around round the corners, how come some can break the apartment gate and enter into your apartment ? I am at huge loss, where you don't compensate, Insurance does not compensate, no fault from my end but I am huge loss. We all do hard works to earn money and save for family, and single attempt at least 1 year savings gone because of this crime. Apartment owner has to ensure the residents are safe enough and no crime happens inside the campus. This is not a publicly accessible property. read more

Staff is friendly however there is a neighbor who is hitting my son's truck with his door under carport and they won't do anything to help. We would simply like them to move him, or help in some way. We went down on Saturday to talk with someone who said they would inform the manager but she did not, meaning this is not something they are taking seriously. The truck being hit was purchased a year ago, so this is a big deal. Once something is done, we will remove review, however at this time the service is unsatisfactory. We have lived here for almost 2 years and have loved it. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating, maintenance is VERY quick to respond, the landscaping is beautiful, neighbors are friendly. We've only had an issue with a neighbor saying our tv was too loud, but living in apartments comes with things like that sometimes. We originally moved into a townhome and were surprised at the very large electricity bills, so they helped us move into a smaller unit for no charge! Really sweet place to live with great location. We have only been at the place for about 3 weeks but we love it. Their staff who takes care of the repairs is so nice. We have had a few issues with our apartment and every time we have put in for a repair they were there the very next day to fix it. I have only lived in one other apartment but this one is day and night compared to our last awful experience. This place is just a stepping stone while we look for a house and I'm so happy my husband found this place. We have two dogs too and this place is very dog friendly. The whole place seems to be kept up very well. It also has a gate to the Trinity trail which has been great for the pups. They love going on walks. Finally, we had an issue with parking but the front office handled it very well. I am not sure if it's just the lady who we worked with or if everyone is that way. She said she had to ask management for this accommodation, but they agreed so I take that as they are willing to help the people who are paying to stay there. We will be here for the next 8 months so I will change my review if needed, but as of right now, it's gone well. read more

I'm 100% convinced any good reviews about this place are paid reviews. I've only lived here for a couple of months and can't wait for my lease to end!! If your a student or just want any type of peace in life pls don't sign a lease here.. it's terrible lol. Here is why: - My downstairs neighbor complains almost every night because he thinks I walk too loud... On occasion he'll aggressively come bang on my apartment door or he'll bang a broom on his ceiling for a couple of minutes straight. Not because my roommates are partying or even talking too loud or working out but because we are walking.. in our own apartment. We called the front desk and were basically told to stop walking or change the way we walk bc he's been a long time resident or something lol. After rearranging our apartment to cover most of the creaky floorboards we still got complaints so we asked the front desk to come check and replace the problematic spots while we were gone for winter break. Come back from winter break and we're still having the same problem. 5 months later and still no resolution. - Our balcony door somehow gets unlocked and fully opened in the middle of the night. This is especially spooky considering the crazy neighbor situation. We've had maintenance come look at the door twice and there's nothing wrong with it. Asked the management office for a transfer to a new unit since it's a safety concern and obviously an issue on their part but we're told we'd have to either way like a $700 transfer fee and rent twice of what it is now or... suck it up. - They started a new mail room thing with shitty security and all the packages were stolen. ALSO my mail box is constantly filled with other peoples mail. - Building off the mail thing my roommates check was misplaced in our mailbox instead of theirs and was marked late even after explaining we were out of town and it was an error on the part of the mailman. After getting a ton of attitude from management we were told the late charges would be resolved and surprise they weren't. Confused, we attempted to call the front desk and got no answer FOR TWO DAYS. And then we're tagged with a new late charge because they didn't answer and clarify the charges for us. So rip to $150. - Lastly, the apartment has so many maintenance issues. Mainly, the parking is horrible. The kitchen cabinets use a fake wood paper/ cover thing that expands with the steam when cooking lol. And a ton of other little things falling or breaking bc of the cheap material. Which normally like ok but after being acquainted with the management office I'm sure we'll be overcharged for when we leave. I've moved around to a lot of places for school and I've had a lot of great, average, and two horrible experiences with apartments. I can easily say this is the worst one. In summary, the management doesn't resolve any issues and they are incredibly rude. It really makes the world of a difference esp when you have a busy lifestyle. A friend of mine told me this prior to me signing but I wrongfully looked at the positive reviews and signed anyway. Don't be like me pls don't sign here. It really isn't worth it at all. ***UPDATE*** As much as I hate that it had to come to writing a review to see a change, my roommate was contacted by the front office and our issues were accommodated. read more

I lived here with a friend when I was going to TCU. Our apartment was big, clean and affordable. Living on the third floor SUCKED, though. The ceilings were so high it was impossible to cool down in the hot Texas summers. I give this place 3 stars mostly because my boyfriend's car got broken into one night here. His stereo was stolen and his window was broken. read more

We moved here from one of their sister properties and we love it. We rented a garage which has been amazing, the move in process was very easy, and the pool was kept immaculate all summer which we loved and spent a lot of time in! Allison and Sarah are amazing and always take extra time to make sure everything goes as planned if we need anything. Maintenance too. Any issues we have had have been completed fast and with a great attitude. We have a LO and she loves it here too. It's great place for families! My toddler loves the trails and we love being across from clear fork and having Trader Joe's on the corner! So far we love it here! read more

I would not recommend living here! The location is great, but the apartment leasing staff is rude and not willing to help you. Get everything from them in writing so you don't have to spend hours on the phone with them for them to not even help resolve your issues. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else! read more

I take back my 2015 review. The management of this facility has gone down hill in three years. I had neighbor issues with no resolution. On move out, charges were added which were not accurate and I had no recourse but to pay or be sent to collections. I started out really liking this facility but by the end, I was relieved to leave. read more

Location on Trinity Trails and the pool are nice. Quiet neighborhood is a plus too. You can hear train brakes squealing at night in some places of the apartment complex. Very poor management that does not work well with tenants. We alerted management about water damage from flooding in the parking garage as soon as we found it and they tried claiming we caused it and did not alert them fast enough. I have had my driveway blocked multiple times by maintenance staff who are disrespectful and do not speak English. read more

Do not this live or move into these buildings. There is hardly ever any parking and they say it's enforced but it never is. There is hardly an insulation and it gets hot and cold depending on the time of year and the AC and heating units can't keep up. My AC has broken 4 times and heater twice and they just put bandaid fixes on it. And if you ever need emergency maintenance it takes at least two hours for a response. read more

We truly LOVED living here. The value is superb. The staff is awesome and really care about you. The maintenance team is the best and they respond very quickly to your needs. Our apartment was appointed very nicely, good finishes, and very up to date. We were blessed to call this our home and very happy and thankful we were able to live here. You cannot beet the location! Central Market is right down the road. Trader Joe's is an easy walk. And you are right on the Trinity Trail! How awesome is that! I have lived in four different units in this complex. We know most of our neighbors by name and love it! The staff is always friendly and they always get maintenance done in a timely manner. Only thing that would make it better is a hot tub and larger gym :-) read more

My wife and I recently visited here looking for an apartment and were so impressed that we applied for a townhouse before leaving. Lindsay took great care of us. She showed us their 3/3 townhouse with a study and their 1/1 apartment. The 3/3 had plenty of living/entertaining space, large bedrooms, a two-care garage, and plenty of extra features that made the place feel like a home rather than an apartment. Some downsides were the small kitchen and bathrooms, but they were not enough to prevent us from grabbing the only townhouse available. Sorry everyone. The 1/1, however, was also fantastic with similarly sized bedrooms and bathrooms and a larger kitchen. The amazing pool and lease-free dog park are the icing on the cake. We cannot wait to move in next month! read more

The staff and facilities at the Marquis at Stonegate are the best I have encountered. I was a home owner for 30+ years, and have lived here 6 years now - long enough to get an excellent feel for the staff and the customer service. Kim and Karen in the office are the utmost professionals, they truly care about their customers, and have gone beyond what could be expected on many occasions to make sure my living situation is a positive one. The maintenance staff, Edgar, Victor, and Sal, are responsive and professional is all respects. I never planned to live here this long, and always thought I would purchase another home, but living here has been a very rewarding experience in all respects. read more

Great location and nice apartments. Parking is an issue for the general availability and this is the first CWS complex that I've known to have such strict rules for evening parking. For that reason alone I've added 2 car ports to save the headache. Plan on adding that to the rent unless you get a garage unit. read more

I didn't actually end up renting here, but Kim showed me several units and she was such a pleasure. She's been with the management company 16 years and you could just tell it's a great environment run by knowledgeable employees. The train noise is unbelievably loud if you are in a unit facing the trinity think 100db on occasion. Parking is a nightmare. Staff is nice. Pool and gym are well maintained. Pet waste is a problem in the grass outside the breezeways. read more
