Maria exceeded our expectations in every way. We interviewed a few bilingual officiants and after our first zoom call we knew she was the officiant for us. She has this enthusiastic, confident energy which resonated with us and helped put us at ease. She made the whole process of writing our vows seamless and easy. We are more introverted so we wanted less speaking parts and ended up deciding to do private vows the morning of. She helped us rewrite the script so that it fit us and exactly what we wanted. She talked us through applying and registering for our marriage license and gave us a great tips on what to do. For the rehearsal and the wedding day of she was beyond fantastic. She made us feel like we were taken care of the whole way through. Plus she wore the cutest outfit! Thank you, Maria!

Maria married us in October 2022 and we just loved her. This review is long overdue, but we both thought she did an excellent job as our officiant. She met up with us in person to discuss how we wanted our ceremony to flow, and she gave us tips when we needed help writing our vows. She was also a great help in practicing how we would walk down the aisle, and how we would arrange everyone. Overall we are both so pleased.

We were married May 30, 2025 and had started our search for a bilingual officiant back in October/November 2024. We had interviewed maybe 4 or 5 bilingual officiants and Maria was by far the most natural in speaking Spanish/English. Our first interview with her made us feel confident that she'd create a beautiful ceremony that both sides of our families could enjoy. In terms of helping us with our marriage license questions and other questions, she was very quick to respond! And when we were ready to start reviewing the ceremony script, she took our input and combined it with her knowledge of officiating and created a beautiful script for us. Maria was very profesional and sweet. Communicated well, responded to our questions and truly made things happen for us. We decided to go with the elopement and do it all last minute. However, she helped us and worked with us. The experience my wife and I had was great! She is LGBTQ+ friendly and beyond. Believes love is love and made us feel comfortable in all ways. So if you are looking for someone who will make you feel comfortable and actually happy to see love for what it is Maria, is the officiant you must have at your wedding, ceremony or elopement. Maria is amazing! With a month out from our wedding date, Maria was so efficient and helpful in getting us situated for our October ceremony. My husband and I were so lost in what we wanted from our ceremony but a few conversations with Maria provided so many ideas that we were then able to incorporate in the ceremony. On the day of, Maria was so professional, beautifully dressed and prepared with everything needed. Very professional, personable, and organized! Maria let us review and edit the ceremony script to our liking. Many of my guests were Spanish speaking only; Maria helped craft the script so that everyone could understand all parts of the ceremony, and made it very special and unique just for us. There is no way to describe the role that Maria played in helping make our wedding ceremony our DREAM ceremony. From the moment we contacted her she presented herself with the sweetest and most professional personality. We had no question about choosing her from then on because of how calm and welcomed she made us feel. Working with her was effortless and she listened to all of our needs from a bilingual ceremony to adding a heartfelt prayer to God during the ceremony. However, her speech went above and beyond. Not only does she speak with an angelic tone, but everything she said in her speech was relevant to us and it was evident that when she interviewed us she was clearly listening to who we truly were. I had so many family members and friends that commented on how much they loved her and I even had some hesitant-to-marry friends already asking me to pass on her number to them! We found Maria through Yelp. I was looking for a wedding officiant in my area who would do our ceremony in Spanish and I had no luck till I found Maria. She was absolutely perfect for our wedding! We have received so many compliments to what a beautiful ceremony we had, even our most critical family members have raved about how warm and loving our ceremony was. Maria followed up with us quickly when we expressed interest and we scheduled a conversation for us to become acquainted with one another. We talked about how my husband and I met, AND she included it in our ceremony!!! It was beautiful!!! Maria officiated my wedding and she was just amazing! My husband and I are extremely pleased. We had our wedding in December 2020 during covid and she made everything so easy -offering many great suggestions on how to safely have our wedding, how to safely get our marriage license during covid, & offered suggestions for readings, poems, vows.. etc. I was very stressed days leading up to my wedding but with Maria's help and guidance, she made me feel completely at ease. She answered every email, text, phone call in a timely manner. Maria maintained professionalism while keeping the ceremony meaningful and light. Maria is an amazing wedding officiant and I would 100% recommend her. My husband and I wanted someone who was bilingual (English and Spanish) and she was the perfect person for this task. Maria agreed to several video and phone calls with us before our wedding day to help us plan for our ideal ceremony. She asked us a series of questions that helped her put together a beautiful wedding ceremony transcript, which she sent to us for any revisions before the wedding day. She also sent my husband and I several questions separately that were instrumental in helping us write our vows. She put together the first draft of our vows, and then sent to us (separately) so we can make our personal edits. She printed our vows and brought them with her to our ceremony because she knew we would be too stressed to remember them the day of our wedding! The wedding ceremony she delivered was amazing. Several family members mentioned that she was great!! After the ceremony, she also mailed our Marriage Certificate for us, so we did not have to worry about that after our big moment. I got married on March 7, 2015 at UCLA. I found Maria through wedding.com and from the very beginning i wasn't exactly the easiest "straightforward" bride as I live in Boston but had my wedding in LA. From the very start, Maria was extremely responsive, accommodating, and worked around my schedule to make sure we connected during my one and only trip to LA before my wedding. She remained extremely sweet and helpful throughout the entire process! We communicated mainly via email as it made things easier due to the 3-hour time difference. But Maria was always open to talking on the phone or skyping too---I just prefer email and she was totally okay with that! She sent me regular check-ins as we got closer to the date and even sent me sample vows, which were extremely helpful. She also gave me ideas on how to incorporate our mothers in the ceremony which turned out beautiful! She was even open to sharing the ceremony with me and had me okay it before the wedding to make sure I liked it! I couldn't have asked for more! From the moment I contacted her up until the wedding day, Maria remained just as sweet, helpful and accommodating. Rehearsal: Maria attended the rehearsal to do a run through of the ceremony the day before the wedding. To my surprise (and perhaps hers---but she was too sweet to say) that day revealed how little I had actually planned out the little intricacies of the wedding day!! I didn't have a wedding planner and had only taken one trip to LA before the wedding, so I was too busy mingling with family and friends that I didn't realize I'd overlooked so many details of the wedding. In a moment of panic, Maria stepped in and helped me organize the entire ceremony and helped me figure out where everyone would go, what we would all do, and how we would make my day simple and beautiful! And indeed it was. I can't thank her enough for helping me organize myself during rehearsal--it could have been a disaster otherwise. Wedding day: with nerves running high and everyone running around everywhere, I was confident that Maria would put me at ease and indeed she did. The ceremony ran as smooth as it could have and she delivered such a beautiful ceremony! She made mine bilingual (Spanish and English) and both sides of my family absolutely loved it! Her delivery and passion allowed my husband and I to feel like we were the only 2 standing there. It was absolutely perfect! I am so grateful I chose Maria and can't recommend her enough. My husband and I are extremely grateful to Maria for the beautiful ceremony she planned for us and completed less than a week ago. During the planning process, we were looking for a bilingual English/Spanish officiant and were wondering how it would work without making it too long/repetitive. Maria was knowledgeable, had several ideas, and was so nice on top of it all. Nothing but good vibes from the very first conversation. She drafted the ceremony for us a few weeks before the wedding so that we could look it over and make any changes/suggestions if we wanted to. She respected our wishes, but there honestly wasn't much to change at all. She wrote up a beautiful ceremony and helped us include the lasso ceremony (a mostly Catholic Hispanic tradition) with a short blessing/prayer. She also read over our self-written vows and gave us her feedback. On the day of the wedding, she not only drove two hours in a storm to make it to our venue early, but she came prepared with her microphone, printed ceremony script and copies of our vows in case we needed them. She threw in a couple humorous ad-libs and overall, everyone was impressed by her. Our families and friends had nothing but good things to say.
