Not a fan, my ball kept getting stuck in the lane. The girl at the front was super rude and said I needed to remove my ball , because it was annoying for the guy who has to fix it and taking away from league. Like I as a paying customer don't matter. It's cheap. But the staff are rude. read more

I bowl there weekly. I go there for practice, tournaments, and league. Very friendly staff and nice lanes with user friendly score monitors. Food is also good and they have very reasonable prices. read more

I came here today for my boyfriend's niece's 10th birthday party. Upon walking in, we ran into some of Eli's family. We joined them in line to get food. They asked if we would like anything, and were willing to pay for us. So we proceeded to check out the menu. We decided on pizza. I asked the lady kindly for pizza and she told me that they only had party pizza right now. I asked her what party pizza is. She stared me down like she didn't know how to answer the question. Luckily, Eli's mom chimed in and said there was pizza already at our lanes for the birthday party. Okay, we will eat that. Now I just need a sweet tea and a Twix please. She stared at me again and then told me to hold on. I then heard the cash register total up for Eli's mom's order. I wanted to be on that order! I threw the Twix down and said never mind then I guess, and walked away. The lady working the food counter was clueless, rude, and reminded me of the mean lady from Monster's Inc. We then went down and enjoyed the birthday party. We started by eating some of this "party pizza," which by the way means pizza for the party only. I have no idea why they wouldn't sell us our own pizza, but it saved us money. So the beginning of this birthday party was irritating. The pizza tasted pretty good actually. The bowling was fun. Then 4:45p hit and we were told that they wanted to close down. We were being kicked out. We were the last people in there. Okay, well this is a child's birthday party and y'all don't close until 5pm. That really got to me that they were cutting short our party before they were even officially closed. In my opinion, this place is only in business because our government pays for it. If it was self-sustained, it would be a failed business. The people that work there could literally get no other job because that's how bad they suck at customer service. So I guess it's a good thing this place is open, or those three people working would be unemployed for the rest of their lives. read more

A decent bowling alley with great prices. They do sell beer there, just nothing too fancy or any craft brewskies. But, this is only for active duty military or their immediate family and veterans. The only thing here is the bowling ball shortage and sometimes it's hard getting a lane. read more

The lady said Yes, this one time she would allow it. The night of we were told we could not bring them in. So we had to sing happy birthday to my husband in their dark parking lot. I. WILL. NOT. BE. It used to be 5 stars but now they have what we like to call "Bowling Nazis" working there. That's the minus 1 star part. Now for the good part: The lanes and everything are all redone and beautiful! The snackbar/arcade are all in convenient spots. It is non-smoking so it doesn't have that typical bowling alley smell to it. It's cheap bowling in a nice atmosphere. HOWEVER. They did away with dollar bowling nights. How sad :(. On top of that, they loaded a train up full of bowling nazis and stuck them right behind the counter. You better not throw one ball before 9:30 pm for midnight bowling. No sir/ma'am, not even at 9:29. You must wait until they have told you the rules, which consist of "You are not allowed to do this long list of things. Have fun." SOMETIMES, you get "the cool guy" and he'll even let you start one minute early. No joke - one minute. Anyways, go for a good time, it's good music, and as long as you're not breaking the speedometer by throwing your ball too fast or bowling between your legs, you'll be free from the bowling nazis! read more

The lanes are new, that have redone the entire center. Marrington has been there for years. When the Navy was full on, place was packed. They have limited hours now due to lack of leagues. My wife and I bowl there weekly. A couple of workers sometimes aren't the happiest, but we go there to bowl. The Snack gang is always friendly and the food is good. Beats McDonald's. It's a bowling center people. We like it. read more

The Marrington Lanes Menriv bowling center is located off of Redbank Road on the Charleston Naval Weapons Station. I have been bowling there now for about 6 years in the Turbo Winter League. This is a non smoking state of the art bowling center which caters mostly to the military families and their friends. This bowling center has a full service snack bar and you can also purchase bowling gear as long as you are active or retired military. read more
