I was very skeptical when my job sent me to Hebron Kentucky for a training. The hotel is really close to the airport, and has shuttle service throughout the day. Staff is helpful and excellent. The food at the Restaurant was really good and high quality ingredients. The Rooms were nicely kept clean. Hotel offers Conference rooms for meetings. Indoor heated pool as well. I stayed again at the Cincinnati Airport Marriott on business. It's been a while since I last visited and I noticed the hotel has been remodeled. I checked in later in the evening and was given a room on the 4th floor. I encountered some maintenance issues as I entered the room. The first sound I heard was the toilet running. The second thing that bothered me was the close proximity to the elevator. I specifically requested that I be placed in a room far far away from the elevator. It made me think that nobody read the notes placed on my hotel room reservation. We do a lot of business with Marriott so I was a little upset. Good, quality sleep is important to me and I have a hard time sleeping with the faintest of sounds. Footsteps and elevator noise definitely doesn't help. I instantly left the room and went down to the front desk to voice my concern. I was told the hotel was completely sold out. However, there were plenty of accessible rooms available that were away from the elevator. I did receive access to the concierge lounge as a result of this inconvenience. I factored in this gesture of goodwill in my 3 star rating of the hotel. The concierge lounge offers breakfast and evening appetizers. The people working in lounge are great. I was given a wealth of information and directions to various restaurants in the area. The breakfast items usually include one or two hot items such as breakfast burritos and scrambled eggs, salmon, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee, bagels, muffins, coffee, tea, and juice. Evening appetizers include sandwiches, a hot item, veggies and dip, cheese and crackers, and chips. The new room on the 5th floor was quite spacious with it being accessible. Their LCD TV's have been upgraded and their bathroom was very wide. The bed was super comfortable too. The room was barely used and was recently remodeled. Overall I'm going to rain down hard on the ratings due to them being a 4 star hotel. Attention to detail and proper maintenance of all rooms is expected. They get 2 stars for the room condition and an extra star for the great service in the concierge lounge. read more

This Marriott property pulls out all of the tricks you would expect with a nice indoor pool and fitness area, an awesome lounge for anyone with gold or higher status and a neat little restaurant in the lobby that serves a delicious breakfast. The rooms here we super up to date with a sleek modern style interior and furnishing (I stayed in March 2028 for reference). This experience was pretty in line with my normal full service Marriott stays, which is to say a cut above the average! If you're looking for a place to stay next to the airport I definitely recommend this one, but the price will tend to be higher than a non full service hotel. read more

The room remodels are beautiful, modern and customer-friendly. The look is great, the bathrooms are spacious, the storage is plentiful and you can login to your Netflix without paying for the wifi on the new TVs! Customer service and check in were pleasant and easy. Another perk is being able to leave your car here (for a fair fee) while away on your flight. I've been using this hotel for a few years when I travel through Kentucky! They have recently remodeled and it's quite nice. They now have refrigerators in the room which was a big pain point for me in the past as I have medicine that needs to be refrigerated. The breakfast buffet is outlandishly overpriced but it does have some good food. Also, the coffee is really quite good here. This Cincy airport Marriott has been a favorite stay for me whenever I'm in town. The rooms and beds are comfortable and quiet (a blessing since it's near the airport -- I slept soundly and wasn't woken by soaring aircraft), and complimentary airport shuttle service every 15 minutes (just a 5 minute ride to the CVG airport). The staff is also very accomodating and courteous. The lobby is attractive and spacious with lots of seating available for meet-and-greets. The in-house restaurant -- River City Grill -- offers a nice lunch: I had a very good grilled chicken Caesar salad (using whole Romaine lettuce, slightly charred on the grill as well, which gave a surprisingly subtle and pleasant flavor) and a decent chicken noodle soup with thick tender noodles. Breakfast is also served in this restaurant and they offer a buffet with a good selection: sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit, hot cereal, pastries, etc. Complimentary wifi and breakfasts for Marriott Rewards elite members. read more

The rooms are clean and quiet, the lobby is comfortable (though the fountain is a bit over the top) and the free WiFi is reasonably fast. This is pretty much everything I would ask for in a midrange business hotel. But the bed, oh the bed. It's better than any hotel bed I've slept in, better than my bed at home. The just don't sleep this well, plus I didn't have to give up treachery and deceit. The restaurant and bar is decent too; More on that later. It's a ways from Cincinnati proper, but if your business is in one of the many DCs or the Toyota plant here it's right down the street. Bring some stuff to read though. The complimentary copy of Cincinnati magazine won't really cut it for a four night stay. read more

Delta missed my connection, the last of the day. (... so in an airport Marriott I did stay.) As far as Marriotts go, this one was just fine, just fine indeed. Big, plush-ish and laden with the distinct scent of high-powered chlorine. (It coursed through the air and then through my lungs courtesy of the large lobby fountain.) Everyone here was SO NICE. The shuttle drivers (2) - late night and early, early morning - the front desk staff, the gal who dropped off my room service kids meal... seriously. I haven't been treated so nicely by a hotel staff maybe ever in all my thirty years. These people get mad bonus points from me (an apparently others, who've also raved of their kindness here on Yelp). Dear Marriott, Please promote all of them/give them raises because they're great. Kthx. A small workout area, a small pool, on-site restaurant and bar and mad conference rooms round out this hotel's offerings. I'd be remiss not to mention that my room service fare of choice wasn't necessarily "the bomb" - frozen chicken tenders IN THE SHAPE OF DRUMMIES and Kraft mac 'n cheese - but that's on me, because I ordered from the kids' menu, because I am a pouty adult and treat yo'self when you're stuck, right? Anyways, even with this being from the kids menu I was a little surprised at the grocery store freezer fare nature of the stuff, but whatever. Ain't really no thing. I had a bed to sleep in and was not stuck at el aeropuerto. Thanks again for your hospitality in an hour of need, Cincy Airport Marriott. And Marriott, like I said... raises. We flew into Cincinatti for a less than desirable occasion- our mother/ grandmothers funeral. We planned the trip last minute for the 6 of us to travel. The first night at the hotel our waitress learned why we were there. The rest of the stay we received kind words, a free round of drinks, and a lovely letter upon checkout stating their condolences. We felt so taken care of here and the little touches of kindness made this not so pleasant experience much better! Clean, attentive, great food and drinks downstairs, all for a very reasonable price. Okay, this review is going to be a bit strange. I was at this Marriott overnight when the Cincinnati airport was shut down due to Hurricane Ike. What makes this review strange? There was no power at the hotel, yet I think this hotel handled the situation extremely well. I would usually discuss the cleanliness of the room and what the bathroom looked like, but honestly I don't really know as there was not really enough light. The bed was very soft and the location near the airport was perfect for dealing with the 7am flight the next morning. Despite having no power the staff did a great job trying to provide for all their guests. The restaurant put together a cold-cut buffet and the staff was very responsive to the guests despite their limited means. The hotel shuttle in the morning was prompt and clean (lights in the van! YAY!) It was the coldest and darkest shower I have ever had, but it wasn't a bad hotel experience given the circumstances. I would definitely stay at this hotel when it has power. read more

The front desk crew always seems off their game a bit and are not very helpful. Marriott changed out their shampoo, conditioner, etc., to this brand called "In the Zone". This venue is good for large groups. The food is always very very good. One visit I had purple mash potatoes and they were royal. This recent event we had chicken that was moist and flavored perfectly. The cheesecake was divine. One of my favorite things about CAM is when you first walk in you see a large water display that projects freshness and relaxation. This space is perfect for cocktail hour. read more

Loved it! I stayed there on business. Everything is so convenient, especially when you come back to your room after a long day of work and quite a lot of after hours drinks. I love that they have east coast King beds in their rooms. I'm not a big person, so I basically had to hike from one side of the bed to the other (I figured pretty quickly that I should have all of my night stuff available on one night stand and stick to that side of the bed). The bathroom is a bit small though; still convenient, but I like more room. There's very limited counterspace in the bathroom. The hotel itself it great! They have a great restaurant and bar. Real nice fitness room and an indoor lap pool with very nice pool side area, lounge chairs and towels. Definitely will be my first choice when I'm in the area next time. read more

I had to call down for bottles of water because they do not have any in the room. It was almost midnight and I woke up because it's so dry in the room. I was told it would take awhile because had to find security to have him bring it. And with a tone that seemed annoyed she let me know it would be charged to my room. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area! I return every year for work and I'm never disappointed. Each year they've increased their customer experience starting at the front desk and continue it on from there. They handle themselves as if they were a top level hotel in Orange County. Impressed with this full service Marriott property. Concierge lounge was well stocked and staff was friendly. Diet Mt. Dew is always welcome. Ate dinner at the bar and enjoyed several local beers and a very good burger. Fried green tomatoes were weak though. Room was very clean, well appointed and comfortable and service was friendly and efficient. Only negative was there had been a recent snow storm the day prior and the parking lot and walks were treacherous. read more

When my wife and two young daughters returned from Florida they landed at 10:30pm, called for the shuttle at 10:45 pm. She calls me 45 min later saying they haven't picked her up yet. I call them using the number she gave me and they say, " she must not have called here". I'm a sales rep, never in my life would I say that to a customer especially when I tell them it's my wife and two daughters 5 and younger at 11 pm. We stayed here for a homebrew competition and did not have a good experience. The staff at the restaurant was rude and seemed like they didn't want us there. The food took a long time to come out since we ordered off the menu when we were pushed to eat at the buffett. When I called the front desk in the afternoon about our air conditioning they acted like they didn't care and didn't want to help. Wow! The remodel project turned out great. The place looks fantastic and the atmosphere is first class. Our family again went to the Easter Brunch. The food was fabulous, except for the ham :( .... it was like ham jerky. Prime rib excellent... breakfast food hot and delicious. Very enjoyable Sunday afternoon to visit and have a meal with our family. We had a 1:30 reservation which was probably toward the end of the sitting times. Lost out on the desserts.... they were gone at 3:00 by the time we finished our meals. Otherwise the choice of food could not have been better. My only suggestion is our waiter was too involved in other things... did not see him much... Would highly recommend!! read more

What we requested: 2 queen beds with refigerator. What we got: king bed with no refigerator. Vending machine on floor was broken. Vending machine on floor below had limited selection and dispensed barely cold soda. Internet connection for both of us required refreshing login page many times before being able to enter access code. And what hotel doesn't offer free wi-fi? Breakfast is not included either. Not impressed at all and we unfortunately just arrived. My advice: take a pass! read more

I ended up here after my Allegiant flight got cancelled. This was one of the cleanest & nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in, & the bed was pretty comfy as well. Although, the breakfast at the river city grill was pretty bad for the price. It was $17 for an all you can eat breakfast buffet, food was mediocre & the bread legit had mold on it & was stale. Not what I expected from a Marriott. I stayed here 5 days. I've had a better experience from Holiday Inn Express. First of all, the good: bed was comfy, staff and shuttle bus drivers were friendly, and the breakfast food was good. The bad: noticed that my floor was kind of dirty (I had wood laminate floors), thought I had tracked it in over the days. Then I discovered a fruit loop on the ground. I have not had any fruit loops. I wondered how much of the dirt on the ground has been left by previous travelers and not cleaned. You have to pay $7 a day for wifi. That's crazy! Holiday Inn has free wifi! Also the continental breakfast is extra. The main reason I'm writing this review is because on the day I got to sleep in, at 9am a blaring message came through saying they are doing a fire alarm test. Really, at 9am? Then to top it off, the cleaning person started banging on doors down the hall at 9:20am. So much for sleeping in. read more

Nice hotel, mostly geared to biz folks. The shuttle service to & from the airport is quick and effective. Check in staff was wonderful. The lobby area is nice, but the fountain is a little too noisy- forget about talking on your cell phone. The area by the elevators smelled like a dirty diaper- for the entire 2 days I was there. For real...odd smell, but it was there! The room was typical Marriott fare. Fairly simple, but clean. The bed was perfect- as always at Marriott. The concierge lounge was first rate...one of the best I have experienced. Nicely decorated, equipped with wireless and the food at breakfast & appetizer/ dessert times was certainly above average for a Marriott property. Staff were very attentive. The restaurant had excellent food (Marriott can be hit/ miss). Grilled mahi-mahi w/ pineapple salsa sauce and rice was top notch. Bar area was well staffed and had nice size TV's. There is not much around this place, except the airport. However, if you are staying for a couple of days, find your way into concierge access and you should be in good shape. read more

After driving for 7+ hours on thanksgiving day we arrived to be told the restaurant is shut, the concierge lounge is shut, no room service. We were directed to the gift shop where they sell candy, chips and soda. Really? They couldn't have emailed to warn us so we could make alternative arrangement? Diabolical service. This hotel is not worth $150 a night, and it would have been more expensive if I had booked directly through Marriott instead of through a 3rd party website (almost a $50 dollar difference).I thought Marriott hotels were supposed to be one of the best? First my room: walls were dirty (scratched and marked up), there was an electrical socket plate ajar and hanging, and the pillows smelled like someone peed on them and were soiled. While they were the decorative ones, they should have them cleaned occasionally! I thought the rooms were recently renovated? The shower stall is the smallest I've ever seen at a hotel. And why doesn't a king sized bed room with a sofa include a microwave? Most comparable rooms and hotels do! The sofa wasn't very comfortable. The bed was semi-hard, but that's my problem I suppose as I like softer beds. Wifi was a mess! While apparently FREE, neither their front desk nor their tech team could figure out why their "guest wifi page" wasn't popping up on my device so I could log into their wifi. THEIR "TECH" guy couldn't figure it out and was supposed to give me a call back to my room, but he never did. 30 minutes later of troubleshooting myself, the page finally popped up. Their wifi access is NOT very user-friendly for someone who doesn't know anything about computers. It wasn't easily accessible. Room service...simply put - STUNK!! I stayed 2 nights and ordered room service 5 times. Every time, something was wrong with my order and I had to call down to have them bring me something up. The day I was to check out I had to be somewhere by 8:00. My breakfast arrived 15 minutes passed the time I requested causing me to run late that morning. I am not impressed with this hotel. I guess I stayed at a bad Marriott, because I heard they were really nice hotels. For the price I paid, I definitely expect better. However, Marriott did refund me my breakfast for running late thath last day. With that all said, when I initially looked at the reviews of other hotels in the area before booking, I did choose Marriott because the surrounding hotels had other major issues such as Bed Bugs, cleanliness and plumbing issues, so Marriott did seem like the better choice. Even reading one such review is enough to deter me from staying at that hotel because you just don't know if you'll be given that same room!!! So I guess considering my options, I suppose Marriott is the smarter choice, but it's still overpriced, and I may just end up looking at other area towns or cities nearby to look at other hotels in the future. read more

I had two rooms for one night. One room had black mold all over air vent, the glass on the table had dried food on it, the sheets were dirty and the shower door would not close. The other room, when we pulled the sofa bed out, it had dirty underwear & sheets on king bed were dirty. When we requested the sheets be changed they told us they didn't change sofa sheets often they didn't know if they had been used. At breakfast the next morning the food was not stocked and multiple (clean) plates had dried food on them. When ask to speak to a manager before checking out I was told they could not find him, they had another situation going on he needed to take care of. I called Marriott customer service and was told they have addressed it and I would not be compensated for my stay. I have called three times and yet to have anyone return my phone call. This will be my last stay at a Marriott property!!!!! read more

We stayed there Friday night because our daughter was flying in at 5am Saturday. The card reader didn't seem to want to read our card. My husband went out to our car to get something and tried the card on the side door access and it didn't work. The front desk clerk said we have trouble with it. The next morning my husband wanted to make sure the card worked before we left and it didn't. Stopped on our way out, told the clerk our cards weren't working, he gave 2 more. We pick our daughter up, come back so she could sleep a couple hours and the cards didn't work AGAIN. The front desk sent a gentleman up who said the battery was dead in the unit, and maintenance would have to charge it, and they would let us have a different room. We told him our luggage was in the room. It took 3 hours before we were able to get in our room. All we got was a half sorry and no one seemed to care. I would not stay here again until they get their act together. read more

Our first impressions of this hotel were great. Very modern rooms, new light fixtures, etc. Upon further inspection I realized I was so, so wrong. It started in our room when I realized it didn't look like our room had ever been vacuumed. We randomly found cheerios on the floor. THEN, when we were walking up from the pool my daughter stepped on something SHARP. What I found looked like broken metallic glass, almost like razor blades. ON THE FLOOR! The hallway is DISGUSTING! How hard is it to get someone up here to vacuum? It does look like they've been doing some work down one of the halls but that is no excuse to leave sharp shards of glass everywhere for children to step on. Also, the pool was kind of gross. Scummy looking dark crud all around the inside edges of the pool. And we didn't have but a couple of teeny tiny little towels to dry off with. All in all, the hotel is just kind of...scuzzy. And there's no free wifi which is just silly. The staff is friendly, though. read more
